Revisiting the ancient capital of Majapahit
Once the capital of the Hindu-Buddhist ruler Majapahit, Trowulan in East Java is now in ruins. With most of the buildings and remnants restored, this city has been turned into a heritage site. Among the important remains are Candi Tikus and Bajang Ratu Temple, which have become popular tourist attractions in the city.

With firm attachment to their traditions, the Toraja live in unique dwellings called tongkonen, which means the place where you sit. A home and also a dwelling place for the dead, prepared for spiritual departure. Next Phillipe heads to Voralberg in Austria, situated between the Rhine Valley, Lake Constance, and the Alps. Having been previously known for its traditional rustic wooden houses, the last 3 decades have seen the town incorporate contemporary architecture, and becoming world leaders in ecology and sustainable development.
