This video is all about Dubai airport’s connecting flight procedure. I used visa-free transit at Dubai airport (DXB) during COVID in September 2020. Many people may be willing to travel out of India, but due to travel restrictions still, almost all international flights to & from India are closed. However, the UAE is open. Many flights from India to Dubai are now available - Spicejet, Go, Indigo, AI Exp, Emirates. Free Transit is at Dubai airport is also available like before (Don’t need US visa). When Can You Apply for a Schengen Visa Again After COVID-19: EU Urges Member States to Resume Visa Processing.
EU Urges Member States To Resume Visa Operations Abroad.
The European Union Commission has urged the member states to resume visa operations abroad so that third-country citizens in need of a visa to travel to the Schengen Area can start filing applications.
The Commission has advised member states to enable visa operations after most Member States have halted every visa-related process as part of pandemic-related measures.

The suggestion has been given in line with the Commission’s recommendation to the Member states to gradually and partially reopen the external borders, as of July 1
Travellers will need to be able to access visa services again, and the Member States should synchronise the resumption of visa operations with the lifting of travel restrictions
This is why today the Commission presents guidance for a phased and coordinated return of visa operations to normal.
A harmonised approach is best achieved through consulates simultaneously resuming operations in each location and by fully implementing the EU visa rules, together with good communication towards the public.
The Commission has suggestions for the possibility of the member states demanding additional documents related to health checks like; covid-19 tests for visa applications.
If a Member State requires health checks, these should take place at the time of travel or shortly before, rather than when applying for a visa and should apply to all travellers from a given location irrespective of their nationality or visa status.
The EU Commission presented a recommendation related to the entry ban for third-country citizens introduced on March 15 this year, amid the outbreak of the Coronavirus in Europe.
The EU Commission suggests Member States should lift travel restrictions for countries selected together by the Member States based on set objective criteria as health situation, the ability to apply containment measures during travel, and reciprocity considerations.
Based on these conditions, it also recommends that the nationals of the six Western Balkan countries – Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia – should be the first to benefit from the abolishment of travel restrictions, as of July 1, given that their epidemiological situation is similar or better than that of the EU.

Hello friends,
Today i am going to start my first international trip after Covid pandemic, i have not been able to visit any other country in last 14 months, and today i will go to Europe. I will try to visit Serbia, european country, although Serbia is not included in Schengen list.
Serbia gives free visa on arrival to Indians, and they can stay upto for 30 days. In this difficult time of corona, its extremely difficult to le ave India and to reach another country. And i have faced many challenges too in planning this trip.
First Serbia asks for negative covid report, that is RT PCR test should be negative and should be taken within 48 hours of arrival. And by the way, your 48 hours starts at the time of sample collection.
Second, there is no direct flight to Serbia, and you have to go through Dubai. Since Dubai is connected with entire world.
But the last thing is that Dubai is not transit free now, that is Indians cannot travel beyond Dubai. Previously indians used to travel beyond Dubai and take Dubai as transit free section, but not now.
And also got my covid test done from ICMR lab in Delhi and result is negative.
So looking at all challenges, i have to prepare my trip so that i can make it. This video is all about preparation and will tell you how i prepared for this trip.
I will be flying from Delhi airport to Dubai and from dubai i am taking transit to Serbia. My Dubai to Serbia flight will be through Pegasus that will go via Turkey.

In this video, i have stated my journey from Delhi International Airport to Serbia by Dubai. But new update is Dubai is not transit free any more for Indians. Means Indians cannot travel beyond Dubai in India to UAE flights. They will need Dubai VISA and have to board at Dubai and then carry on their journey, if they still want to travel beyond Dubai.
I also got my corona tested from ICMR lab and got negative result. To reach Serbia, you need to have 48 hours corona negative certificate with you.
So while starting my jouney, at gates, i was just asked to show passport and tickets, but no corona report. Corona report is checked and validated when you take your boarding passes.
I do have Dubai Visa so i will try to transit and if they dont allow me to, then i will come out of airport and then take flight to Europe.
Immigration experience was super smooth and i myself have seen airlines denying boarding to some passengers who were going to transit beyond dubai, even if they have different PNR ticket.
I also went to Plaza premium lounge and have good time spent there and had quick dinner.
My flight was Air India express and i was given compete corona kit, which had sanitizer and masks in it. Good was that my seat was upgraded to premium 1 Alpha during boarding.

Today i am going to start my new trip from India to Europe, i am going to serbia for tourism which provides visa free entry to Indians for upto 30 days. You need to get 48 hours RTPCR tests plus need to have fully vaccinated certificate and having good financial support to get in Serbia.
Serbia is part of European union but not part of Schengen countries.
I will be taking my flight from New Delhi international airport and will i be transiting through dubai or Abu Dhabi, or Doha, you will get to know in upcoming videos.
I will gather as per information and will keep in front of you so that your trip becomes easier.
