Today i am going to start my trip to Russia via kazakhstan by Air Astana using their stopover program. It will be 10 day trip, and Air Astana offers me free visa, 5 star hotel accommodation, airport transfers, and free meals to stay in Astana, all this at just 1 USD/70 Indian Rupee...Air Astana says that if you travel by them, and you have a halt at kazakhstan and you are going to some third country, then they provide all these services to you at just 70 Indian Rupee.
Your halt at kazakhstan should be atleast 10 hours long so that you can enjoy your stay at kazakhstan hotel at almost free rate. Kazakhstan is offering this program in partnership with Air Astana to promote tourist in their country.

I purchased Tele 2 mobile sim in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Watch this video to know the rate of the sim card and how much I paid for the internet data. Also, you will see me withdrawing the local currency #Tenge using my Indian banks debit card. I have shared an information about a trick by which you won't be charged bank commission for money withdrawal. I visited a Local supermarket to buy vegetarian food in Almaty. Check the rate of the things I bought from there.
I travelled on local buses in Almaty. The bus fare in August 2018 (when I was there) was 150 Tenge. Watch the video for more information on how to travel cheaper than this by using a particular travel card.

Climate
Kazakhstan’s climate is sharply continental, and hot summers alternate with equally extreme winters, especially in the plains and valleys. Temperatures fluctuate widely, with great variations between subregions. Average January temperatures in northern and central regions range from −2 to 3 °F (−19 to −16 °C); in the south, temperatures are milder, ranging from 23 to 29 °F (−5 to −1.4 °C). Average July temperatures in the north reach 68 °F (20 °C), but in the south they rise to 84 °F (29 °C). Temperature extremes of −49 °F (−45 °C) and 113 °F (45 °C) have been recorded. Light precipitation falls, ranging from 8 to 12 inches (200 to 300 millimetres) annually in the northern and central regions to 16 or 20 inches in the southern mountain valleys.
Languages
Kazakhs speak a Turkic language of the Northwest or Kipchak (Qipchaq) group. Russian, an official language, functions widely alongside Kazakh, which is the state language. Russian is the most widely understood language in the country.
