Indonesian Street Food - CRAZY HALAL Street Food in Little Indonesia!! BEST MARTABAK + RENDANG!

Welcome back to our series, Street Food Around the World in Taiwan. Today we are taking you to INDONESIA! Taiwan is home to many Indonesians, and with them they brought their culture and their amazing food!

We are starting our street food tour in “Little Indonesia”, which is a small neighbourhood outside of Taipei Main Station. Every Sunday, Indonesians gather here to socialize, relax and EAT! We first ordered Gado-gado (150 NTD / USD $5.07) which is an Indonesian salad with rice cakes, tempeh and is smothered in a spicy peanut sauce. We also ordered sate ayam (chicken sate) which was grilled over smoky coals and topped with a sate sauce and chilis (5 pieces - 200 NTD / USD $6.75) , and Teh Botol (30 NTD / USD $1.01) to wash it down . All of the vendors where extremely friendly.
To take home, we picked up a pack of kueh (small Indonesian cakes) that are stuffed with gula jawa (palm sugar) and covered in shredded coconut (50 NTD / USD $1.69), which are great to eat as a breakfast snack.
Later, we visit a modern Indonesian restaurant for a few different dishes. We ordered rendang daging (beef), ayam bumbu rujak (chili chicken), turmeric rice, and curry vegetables. The food was unfortunately missing a few key ingredients and spices that really make Indonesian food what it is. The true flavour was less reminiscent of Indonesian food, and more like Taiwanese food. The entire meal cost 890 NTD (USD $30.90), which we thought was slightly too expensive.

To end the day of eating amazing Indonesian food, we went to a local stall far in the south of Taipei to have Martabak Manis (sweet martabak). This martabak was made in the most authentic way. The batter was slightly undercooked, it was SMOTHERED in butter, chocolate, cheese and condensed milk. And of course, more butter on top (120 NTD / USD $4.05). This is one dessert we cannot stop eating whenever we are in Indonesia, and we are so happy to have found this hidden gem in Taiwan.

Restaurant Info:
1 - Little Indonesia (Gado-gado, Sate, Kueh)
Alley 12, Lane 8, Section 1, Zhongshan North Road, Zhongzheng District, Taipei
2 - Sate House (Rendang, Bumbu Rujak, etc…)
No. 15號, Leli Road, Da’an District, Taipei
3 - 元元月亮餅 Martabak Manis
No. 6號, Jingwen Street, Wenshan District, Taipei

Welcome back to our next episode from the Street Food Around the World in Taiwan series. Today, we are taking you to Korea, and will be showing you the best spots to get authentic Korean food in Taipei!
We are starting the day in Ximending where we found a Gimbap shop. They have everything on the menu that you can find in the Gwangjang Market in Seoul. The bosses were even speaking Korean! We ordered two kinds of Gimbap: spam and beef. They also provided a delicious bowl of kimchi. We washed it down with a traditional rice drink.
Nearby, there is a shop that sells all-things K-POP. Korean pop music and entertainment has had a strong influence in Taiwan with younger generations and this shop sells merchandise with famous Korean idols. Stickers, posters, pillows, bags and more line the entire shop!
You'll even see groups of Taiwanese dancers perform popular KPOP choreography in the streets. We visited Xiangti Plaza where these dancers are known to perform. Thank you to DAZZLING for allowing us to film
Link
Next, we visited a street food stall serving the classic Korean tteokbokki (rice cakes) and odeng (fish paste in broth). Although authentic in flavor, it was missing a little extra spice. The stall can be found in Shilin Night Market.
Something you can't miss in Korea is fried chicken and beer. We visited a Korean chain and ordered there signature chicken with Cass beer. It is typically eaten with gloves. Locals refer to eating in this style as chimaek.
Finally, we HAD to include a KOREAN BBQ. This restaurant in Taipei is always packed and crazy. It is standing only around the barbecues and is self service. We ordered pork and beef, with several toppings for the lettuce wraps. We washed it down in typical Korean fashion with soju. We were so full!!!

???????? $10 USD MALAYSIAN HAIRSTYLE, BEARD AND LOCAL DELICIOUS LUNCH | KUALA LUMPUR MALAYSIA

$10 USD MALAYSIAN HAIRSTYLE, BEARD AND LOCAL DELICIOUS LUNCH | KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA.

Hi Everyone! It's been over a year since I had my last haircut back in August 2019 and a beard trim in January 2020. I decided it was time for me to go to the barber and take care of much needed makeover. The name of the barbershop I went to is called Royal Salon and is located in Bukit Bingtang in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. The haircut and the beard trim only cost me 35 MYR ($8.20 USD). If you're in KL and need a clean up than this is the place for you. You will always find many undiscovered food option to try.

After my barbershop, I went back to my neighborhood in Pudu and visited Fatt Kee Roast Duck & Chicken Restaurant. I ordered myself a BBQ duck, pork rice and a cup of tea. This was one of the tastiest meals I've had in Kuala Lumpur and it was only 10 MYR ($2.34 USD). I really loved this place, it's really simple, local and the food comes out quick. If you see locals eating there than you know it's damn good!

Seoul Street Food, Korea. Noryangjin Fish Market. Sashimi, Tuna, Seafood, Giant Crabs and Live Fish

instragram: settime2588

The Noryangjin Market opened for business in 1927, making it Seoul’s oldest fish market. Located in Seoul’s Dongjak District, the market sits slightly south of the Han River. It is the largest fish market in the country and is open 24 hours a day. If you are looking for an especially exciting experience, head to the market early in the morning to watch the bustling fish auctions. You can see everything here: shrimp, crab, squid, stingray, octopus, mackerel, tuna, lobster, clams, mussels, scollops, etc. Not only you can buy fish and crustaceans, you can also eat it on the spot ; various vendors prepare a fresh meal for you right there at the market. Visitors can also have their fresh purchases prepared at one of the restaurants located on the second floor.
Getting to Noryangjin Fish Market: Subway Line 1 exit 1 or Line 9 exit 2 to Noryangjin Station.

Europe’s SPICIEST FOOD ????️????️ !! Hungarian Fisherman’s Soup ???? in Hungary!

???? Copenhagen Street Food Tour:
???? 100% Real Durian Chips - Order Here:

There was no way I was going to leave Hungary without trying what is considered one of the spiciest native foods to Europe - Hungarian fisherman’s soup - known in Hungarian as Halászlé. And there are two very different versions in Hungary - each with their own following. So there was no way, we couldn’t try both of them in a single day. So my friend Adam ( and I set off on a Hungarian food mission to eat Europe’s spiciest food! #HungarianFood #spicy #Europe

Szeged, Hungary - The first type of Hungarian fisherman’s soup comes from a place called Szeged, and that’s where we drover first. We drove directly to a restaurant called Kiskőrössy Halászcsárda, right along the banks of the river, and known for their fish. They have a number of other fish dishes on their menu, but no one comes and doesn’t order the Halászlé. It was delicious, full of flavor and vibrant on the paprika. Total price - 20,720 HUF ($68.38)

Baja, Hungary - Next we drove onwards to Baja, also famous for their Hungarian fisherman’s soup, but different in style. We went to a home style restaurant called Potykacsárda and ordered up a number of dishes. I immediately loved their red color of every dish - so bright red and with some spiciness to it. Adam and I had a cold fruit soup, a dish of paprikash with catfish which was insanely delicious, and finally the famous Halászlé - fisherman’s soup. I loved it, absolutely stunning. Total price - 8,400 HUF ($27.72)

So what is the best fisherman’s soup in Hungary, Szeged or Baja? They were both delicious, but without a doubt, I liked the Baja version better. The restaurant we ate at in Baja called Potykacsárda, was easily the best meal I ate in Hungary.

Thanks to Adam ( for taking us around and eating a lot of delicious food. He’s does amazing motion graphics and animation!

It was my first time trying South Indian Food in my life and I absolutely loved eating there. I had a pleasure of meeting Visha and her husband (Sam) wonderful kind people.

Shortly after I left Sai Ram Stall, I made a stop to buy myself freshly made cane juice. 1 Bottle was 4 MYR ($0.94 USD)
