BEST Mumbai Ramzan STREET Food Walk in Md Ali Road I Chote Kabab + Mutton Chop Nahari + Rabri Malpua
Every year during Ramzan, the lanes around the Minara Masjid in Mohammed Ali Road come alive with mind boggling varieties of street food for Iftar. During this period it is clearly turns into a haven for foodies. From haleem to kebab, phirni to malpua, fruit shake to chicken soup, you name it and Mohammed Ali Road has it. After two years of pandemic induced hiatus this Ramzan, the neighbourhood has once again become the cynosure of gastronomic activities. In today's episode we have embarked on a food tour across this place. As we reached there, we found a sea of people all excited for Iftari.
The first stall that we visited was a stall selling sharbat mix that simply has to be mixed with milk and consumed as a refreshing drink. Next we visited the Famous Restaurant where they were selling some fancy fried stuff like chutney kabab, chicken crispy, spinach pakoda etc.
From there we headed to a chicken shawarma stall which has evolved into a popular Iftari option. Then we went to Salman bhai's shop to see the plethora of treats being sold there. From here we got some chicken sizzlers for Iftari.
Then we went to Marhaba Fast Food Center. They too had a tempting range of fried stuffs mostly non veg ones. From there we went to Babu bhai's chana batata shop to get a serving each of chana batata and ragda.
The next stop was another cold beverage stall selling different kinds of shakes and juices. This was followed by a traditional steamed rice cake called saandal. We got some packed for Iftari and headed to Noorani Milk Center to enjoy iftar with the owner. Sharing the food with friends amidst all the festive gaiety was a surreal feeling.
Next we headed to the legendary Bademiya shop to try their special chicken soup. The tender leg piece dunked in a peppery broth was comforting. From there we headed to Hindustan to try their baida mein cheh which is tiny mutton balls based fluffy omelette.
The following destination was Chinese N Grill. Contrary to it's name, the place is famous for an awesome Nahari. On the recommendation of the owner we tried their mutton chop nahari. The meat was super tender and the gravy was highly flavourful.
We followed it up with a soft and fluffy bhandoli prepared by a young hardworking lady whose mother had started the stall. This Gujarati sweet was quite a revelation. Then we tasted some balli malai from a local vendor and Hyderabadi style badami haleem from Hyderabadi Badami Haleem.
The penultimate destination was Suleman Usman Mithai wala where we tried the Ramzan special malai khaja and phirni. Their luscious taste were a testimony of their fame. Finally we ended the tour with a paan from Shabbir Ahmed paan shop.

MUSLIM Indian street food tour in Mumbai - Today, I will take you on a Muslim Indian street food tour in Mumbai, India. I will go on a street food adventure on India's famous Mohammed Ali Road night market to eat some of the best Halal Indian street food.
This MUSLIM Indian street food tour in Mumbai starts by having an incredibly delicious street halwa in the middle of India's famous Mohammed Ali Road.
A few steps down the road, I went to a Halal restaurant to eat the best Muslim Indian food I've had so far, Nalli Nihari.
To continue our Muslim Indian street food tour in Mumbai, I went to a very popular Halal Indian restaurant on India's famous Mohammed Ali Road to try the insanely delicious Chote kebab.
After that, I stumbled upon a street food vendor making Indian Halal Baida roti and I couldn't resist.
To continue our Muslim Indian street food tour in Mumbai, I went to the oldest bakery on Mohammed Ali Road to try some of their best desserts.
Moving on, I couldn't leave Mohammed Ali Road without having some Indian Halal kebabs on the street. Muslim food is some of the best.
Before ending this Muslim Indian street food tour in Mumbai, I needed to have India's national drinks. Lassi and Masala chai.
After leaving India's famous Mohammed Ali Road where we had some of the most delicious Muslim and Halal street food in Mumbai, we went to have the craziest Indian dessert I've ever had. A coconut shake called Dilwale.

Iftar In Bhindi Bazar Mumbai is the most awaited video in my Ramadan Street Food Tour. It was really amazing experience in Ramadan 2022 in Mumbai at Mohammad Ali Road. I explored the Food Near Minara Masjid and there were hundreds of food items that were new to me in aspect of shape, colour, presentation, arom and taste.
People who were selling Iftari food at Bhindi bazar were really friendly, smiling and welcome with a gesture of hospitality.
I did my Iftar at one of them corner in Bhindi Bazar. I enjoyed every moment this evening in Street Food Hub of Mumbai.

Mumbai’s Mohammed Ali road famously known as “Iftar paradise of India” during Ramadan. One of the India’s biggest iftar food market serving iconic Iftar special foods such as Shahi tukda, Malpuas (served with rabdi malai) and fhirni from Usman Suleiman Mithaiwala, Kebabs, Seekhs, Tandoor’s from Mashallah Cuisines, Best Masala Milk from Noorani next to Minara masjid.
Biryani from Noor Mohammadi Hotel and Chinese Grill restaurant. A lot of street stalls serves Russian kebab, Chicken cutlets. Chicken kebab, Mutton cutlet, Tiranga kebabs, Mutton Bhuna fry served with butter-naan, Brain fry, Kheema sandwich, Kheema Roll, Chicken Roll and much more. Mumbai’s Legendary and oldest restaurant- Bade Miya serves some of the finger licking dishes like Paaya soup, Bheja fry, Kaleji fry, Tawa Kheema served with naan or pav and also there are so many stalls who sells “Sutarfeni” and “Dates”, usually eaten during Sehri time in Ramadan.
How can I forget Ragda, Chana masala, Bhajiya, lal batata mixed with some spicy masala and tamarind chutney, all this are Mumbai’s special Chaat. MIND YOU! Mumbai’s Iftari is incomplete without all this dishes.
Mohammed Ali Road Khau galli, is bit crowded during ramdan time as lot of people around the globe travel to experience the Iftar Special food.
Finally, after all the chaos!! I was Lucky enough to get a place in a restaurant before Iftar. We had Crispy Chicken Noodles, Chicken Cutlets, Mutton kandi, Chicken Tikka kandi, Shaami Kebab and Keema samosa, and trust me it was much satisfying. I also tried, Sandan! Steamed rice cake layered with thin cream, sprinkled with some pistachious. The taste is mild and sweet.
Then we moved ahead to try the Famous iftari delicacy i.e, Hyderabadi Haleem made of ghee, goat meat and spcies. Thick, mushy and well blended for hours and hours it is slow cooked meal. Maximum cooking time is 10 hours. It was served with lemon, fried onions, and mint leaves. Still Cannot resist the taste. The dish is high in calories which helps you to feel full for longer period of time
