Why I Really Don't Like This Country ????????

UPDATE: I WENT BACK TO BRUNEI TO GIVE IT A 2ND CHANCE!

While I constantly try to find the positives in every place I visit, there are a few nations that I just simply didn't enjoy.

The country of BRUNEI is one of them.

I went to Brunei back in 2014, three years before I made videos, but my negative experiences in the country have stuck in my mind ever since. That, combined with its absurd human rights laws such as stoning to death LGBT members, I felt like this video needed to be shared with the world.

Have you ever visited any countries that you didn't enjoy? Please share below, I'm curious to know.

Communal Hell: The Inhuman Conditions of Shared Housing in Russia | Soviet Heritage in St Petersburg

The history of communal flats goes back to the times of Peter the Great, however they were spread the most in the USSR. Communal flat is a place shared by several families. Each has their own bedroom, but have to use a common kitchen, bathroom and corridor. Saint Petersburg is truly the centre of Russian communal housing. I went there to see what historical communal flats look like now. Join me to see this portal to the past of Russia, these unique apartments giving out the vibes of both luxury and poverty.

World's Most Dangerous Roads - Tajikistan - Ice Death

A mythical road built by the Soviets to open up the Pamir region and subject it to the rule of the Empire. A daring journey suspended between earth and sky on what the Tajiks call the “roof of the world”. But since the Russians left in 1991, the road has not been maintained. The Pamir Highway is the route of all dangers: Rock falls, landslides, fords ... 900 kilometers on the side of the ravine.

Ethiopia Broke ALL Of My Expectations! (#171)

Ethiopia, the pride of Africa. Home to an amazing and very distinct culture that everyone should experience at least once in their lives. And when you go to Ethiopia, top of the list on places to visit is Lalibela, the home of the rock churches. It's something that seems out of this world.

Unfortunately, Ethiopia is also to almost constant conflict. Civil wars, border disputes, you name it. When I arrived in the country, a new battle had just broken out -- between the FANO militia, representing the Amharas, and the Ethiopian government. Even more unfortunately, most of the best tourist sites in Ethiopia are in the Amhara region.

Including Lalibela. Welp, it was too late now. I wanted to see those churches.

Deadliest Journeys - Tajikistan - Cold Fever

Tajikistan is the poorest country in Central Asia. To travel through this region made up of 93% of mountains, you have to take the Pamir Highway, the second highest highway in the world. Mechanics and people are put to the test, especially in winter when extreme temperatures freeze the engines. Gheyrat, the hero of this adventure, must improvise with the means at hand to deliver his goods and above all stay alive.

Black Hat Asia 2019 Keynote: The Next Arms Race

The Internet is not supposed to have borders, but it does. Countries fight and spy on each other on the Internet every day. So, borders still exist on the Internet, and almost all countries are investing into offensive use of cyber power. The new weapons they are developing are different from any other kind of weapon we've ever seen, and we are now seeing the very beginning of the next arms race.

Chimpanzee Sanctuary | Kenya Series Episode 26

Chimpanzee Sanctuary | Kenya Series Episode 26

Welcome to the only place in Kenya where you can see chimpanzees. This is the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary at Ol Pejeta Conservancy.

In 1993 a chimpanzee rescue centre in Burundi had to shut down due to civil war outbreaks happening nearby, leaving many rescued chimpanzees with nowhere to go. That’s when Ol Pejeta opened its doors and officially relocated the chimp population to its new facility in Kenya. Ever since, the sanctuary has been providing lifelong refuge to orphaned and abused chimpanzees from all across Africa.

35 chimpanzees now make up two very unlikely families, each roaming their own massive enclosures at the sanctuary.

It can be eye-opening to learn about the horrific conditions of which these chimps came from. Many of them suffer from trauma and cope with lifelong injuries and impairments. However, it’s because of places like Ol Pejeta Conservancy that misfortunate animals can have a second chance at life.

At Ol Pejeta you can see the chimps, hear their stories, and interact with exhibits that demonstrate the intelligence of our closest living relatives. It’s truly an important and touching place to experience.

If you want to discover more places in the world that have an impact on wildlife and conservation, follow me for more.
