Philips Lumea IPL hair reduction device
From 2009-2013 I was living in Jakarta, Indonesia and Berlin, Germany where getting wax was super expensive. So when I would go home to Manila I would get laser hair removal from a dermatologist. It was super expensive, but I figured it was cheaper than getting a wax in those countries.
Before going home from Germany in 2016, I found this Philips Lumea Essentials IPL hair reduction device on Amazon! But I was not consistent in using it every 2 weeks. Recently I decided to really take self-care seriously on Sundays! #selfcaresundays
This is a quick video of how easy it is to use. This model is an older one, so the newer models are even better! They have attachments so you can use it for the face (below the eyes only).
This device has universal voltage and can be used world wide so you can order it from Amazon USA and it even ships for FREE to the Philippines. AMAZING!

There are cheaper devices out there, you just need to make sure that they last.
My own device - I bought for €299 5 years ago - can do up to 100,000 pulses, but the newer models above - which cost about $500 free shipping to the Philippines have 250,000 pulses. They more than doubled it's lifespan so I can see why they increased the price. Some devices might be cheaper but you may need to change the device or the bulb after a shorter period. So always check!
It sounds expensive but going for laser hair removal is super expensive too so for me doing this myself safely at home is a better alternative - especially these days that we are still on lockdown!

VLCC laser hair removal review: I took my Laser hair removal session at VLCC Wellness Centre. VLCC laser hair removal is very painful and temporary. It can cause burns and rashes. VLCC Laser hair removal/ VLCC laser hair reduction results don't last long. Coming to how long does laser hair removal last, after you finish all the recommended sessions, your hair might grow back, and you'll need a session every year for the rest of your life to keep the results. Waxing is less painful and more cost-effective. VLCC's customer service is terrible. I regret getting laser hair removal from them. I had burn blisters after each session and had to wear clothes that wouldn't hurt them. I even had to take time off work because of these burns.
VLCC laser hair removal cost in India for me was 60,000 INR for full body laser hair removal.
