On the streets of a slum in Caracas, Venezuela, I got a haircut and it was only $1 - YES, one U.S. Dollar to get a fresh haircut! In this video, I document the experience as well as share some of my other haircut experiences around the world (in over 50 countries!)...

The truth is, I really enjoy getting haircuts in foreign countries because when else do you get the chance to spend 30 minutes with a complete stranger in their country? It's always a fun cultural experience and I have some wonderful memories getting haircuts around the world -- from St. Lucia to Zambia to Syria to Afghanistan and now here in Venezuela.

Does anyone else enjoy getting a haircut around the world? Please comment below!

$0.30 Razor Shave - Indian Street Barber Ahmedabad

■ INDIA, AHMEDABAD: After my street hair-cut I need a street beard trim if not outright clean shave. Luckily in India's 5th biggest city by population street barbers are everywhere. And best of all, they seem to charge a uniform 20 rupees for a shave. So once again I sat down on the streets of Ahmedabad not really knowing what to expect. . . .

USD $1000 Nepal Haircut ????????

■ NEPAL, KATHMANDU: One of the first things I saw when I arrived downtown Kathmandu was a run down barber shop. From 7 in the morning til at least 8 at night (which is the latest I've walked by) this family of barbers work seven days a week. Usually I prefer the sitting on a chair on the street type of haircut experiences but I figured I'd give this barber a go for a change.

It turned out to be quite an entertaining haircut to say the least....

$400 Indian Street Haircut in Ahmedabad

■ INDIA, AHMEDABAD: Although I didn't really need a haircut, after seeing an awesome looking barber with a make-shift shop on the pavement, I decided to sit down for one. So what's his story and the nature of is one man business? What hairstyle did I go for? And was he better than the Delhi hairdresser?

After making 1,100+ videos in 194 countries, this is one of my favorite videos thus far! Find out what $10 USD can get you in Venezuela!

In this epic adventure, I take you on the bustling streets of Caracas and through the beautiful beach towns of Morrocoy to see how many things I could purchase with $10 USD, which at the time I made this video, was 14.7 MILLION Venezuelan Bolivares... Right now, $10 USD is equal to 22 million Bolivares, it's absolutely crazy.

Despite Venezuela's economic crisis and massive hyperinflation, the cost of everyday items is getting more expensive, which makes it even harder for the local people to afford basic things like bread and water. It's really sad, and I hope the situation gets better because Venezuelans are some of the warmest and most hospitable people I've ever met. More to come soon from Venezuela!

Honest Venezuelan Beach Barber gets rewarded in Cartagena Beach ????????

While spending my last day in Cartagena, I ended up encountering a street barber that operated out of Bocagrande beach. Not wanting to miss a unique opportunity to get a haircut right on the beach, I took this opportunity.

$5 Barber Peru ????????

■ PERU, CUSCO: There are few things I dislike more in life than sitting still for 30 minutes whilst getting an incredibly mediocre and horrendously overpriced haircut. Hence why I've been cutting my own hair for the past 2 decades.

However as soon as I find myself traveling to a new country my aversion to barbers is not as strong. For abroad the prices are low and the people who work as barbers generally make for some entertaining conversations. So seeing as I find myself in Peru, and many of you guys for reasons unbeknownst to me enjoy watching me either get a shave or my hair cut, I decided to check out a local barber in Cusco.

$1 Shave Vietnam ????????

■ SAIGON, VIETNAM: After driving around in Saigon's sweltering heat heat for 2 hours my patience was wearing thin. I'd been looking for a street barber so I could get shave but without success. The time was ripe for compromise. I thus opted for an open air barber in the poverty stricken district 6.

The shave went as expected but as I was leaving I realized that this was a family run business and that the barber was living on premises with his whole family. This I had to investigate....

■ QUESTION: Who is better? Vietnamese or Indian barbers? Let me hear your verdict in the comment section.

I Got a Haircut in Afghanistan for $0.70 (UNSEEN)

I recently went to Afghanistan (for the second time!) and while I was in the capital city of Kabul, I decided to get a haircut on the street... And it was $0.70!

Here is the raw, unseen clip as it happened... As you'll to notice, I was REALLY SCARED because he kept yanking hairs out of my mustache and he nearly cut off a piece of my lip with his sharp scissors... but it was worth the experience! And no complaints for how CHEAP it was! Would you ever do it?

I Just Wanted a Haircut ????????

I went to Turkey to get a haircut, I heard barbers are legendary in Turkey. I got a lot more than I bargained for in this Turkish barbershop. A chaotic asmr experience with a flame thrower haircut, ear wax cleaning with a flaming tube, a facial mask and a massage all for $10.00 USD. Oh and a really smart cockatoo.

I got a $20 makeover in Hanoi ????????

■ VIETNAM, HANOI: After downing the beating snake heart raw, I felt like a new man. That called for a change in appearance. But to what? As I walked into the reception of my hotel it suddenly hit me: Go Gwyneth! (you'll see why in the vid)

So off I went to the nearest hair dresser for a total hair makeover. So what color did I go for? And how much did it cost? And how good are the hairdressers in Hanoi, Vietnam's capital?
