I Can Believe - MSC for UNICEF
MSC Cruises and UNICEF, the United Nations Children's Fund, acting for the protection of children's rights, have launched a new song performed by an Italian children's choir called I Can Believe - MSC for UNICEF, to provide a soundtrack to all UNICEF awareness raising efforts on board MSC Cruises ships. This video teaser launches a special song that will be played during the children parade on board each MSC Cruises ship.

MSC Cruises and UNICEF have worked in partnership since 2009. Together we established the global initiative to assist malnourished children in developing countries and those affected by crises. With the “Get on Board for Children” initiative, thanks to all of you, we have reached 6.5 million euros donated. To date, thanks to these generous contributions over 6,300 children have been treated in Somalia, over 9,400 each in both South Sudan and Ethiopia and, most recently, nearly 67,000 in Malawi. goo.gl/Mcjm3f

München, 9. Juni 2018 – Heute Abend wird mit der MSC Seaview das neueste Mitglied der MSC Kreuzfahrtflotte in Genua getauft. Die Veranstaltung wird in Anwesenheit von Stars und Persönlichkeiten, Branchenvertretern und internationalen Medien sowie Mitgliedern der Führungsspitze von MSC Cruises und seiner Mutterfirma MSC Group stattfinden. Gianluigi Aponte, Gründer und Vorstandsvorsitzender der MSC Group, wird gemeinsam mit den Familien Aponte und Aponte-Vago an den Feierlichkeiten teilnehmen.
Das in der Schweiz beheimatete Familienunternehmen und die führende Kreuzfahrtmarke in Europa und Südamerika ist bekannt für seine beeindruckenden Taufevents. Auch die Taufe der MSC Seaview wird dieser Tradition gerecht. Sie hat wie jede Taufe ein starbesetztes Live-Entertainment, ein Gala Dinner, ein atemberaubendes Feuerwerk und die traditionelle maritime Taufzeremonie im Gepäck, die für MSC und die Familie Aponte aufgrund ihres maritimen Erbes eine ganz besondere Bedeutung hat.
Michelle Hunziker, gebürtige Schweizerin, moderiert die Tauf-Veranstaltung und wird unter anderem den „Vater des italienischen Blues“ Zucchero auf der Bühne begrüßen. Der italienische TV-Star Lorella Cuccarini wird einen ganz besonderen Moment auf der Bühne ankündigen: Der Kinderchor Piccolo Coro dell‘Antoniano wird als UNICEF-Botschafter mit seinem Auftritt auf die Partnerschaft zwischen MSC Cruises und UNICEF aufmerksam machen. Matteo Bocelli, der Sohn von Star-Tenor Andrea Bocelli, der bei der Taufe der MSC Seaside im Dezember 2017 zu Gast war, wird während der berühmten Parade der Offiziere singen.
Den krönenden Abschluss der traditionellen Feierlichkeiten bildet der Auftritt der Taufpatin Sophia Loren. Sie wird traditionell das Band durchschneiden, damit die Champagnerflasche am Bug der MSC Seaview zerschellt. Die Leinwandlegende ist quasi Teil der MSC-Familie und tauft bereits zum 13. Mal ein MSC Kreuzfahrtschiff.
Ebenfalls bei der Taufe dabei ist der spanische Sternekoch Ramón Freixa, der seine Partnerschaft mit MSC Cruises erweitert und dafür an Bord der
MSC Seaview sein erstes Restaurant auf See eröffnet. Der panasiatische Kulinarik-Visionär Roy Yamaguchi nimmt gemeinsam mit weiteren Stars und Persönlichkeiten wie dem spanischen Model und Schauspieler Jon Kortajarena, der brasilianischen Moderatorin und Schauspielerin Giovanna Ewbank und der französischen TV-Persönlichkeit Ariane Brodier an dem Event teil.
Die Vision hinter dem bahnbrechenden Schiffsdesign war es, die Gäste mit einem vollkommen neuen Konzept noch stärker mit dem Meer zu verbinden. Die MSC Seaview wurde speziell für warme Gefilde so entwickelt, dass die Gäste die Sonne, das Meer und die Seeluft noch intensiver erleben können.

A l'occasion de la fête de la musique, le 21 Juin, MSC Croisières a lancé avec l'UNICEF la chanson I Can Believe. Chantée par une chorale d'enfants italiens, la chanson résonnera sur chaque navire MSC à l'occasion de la parade des enfants.

To date, thanks to their generous donations we’ve reached 6.5 million euros. MSC’s support has enabled to deliver more than two million sachets of Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Foods. Over 6,300 children have been treated in Somalia, over 9,400 each in both South Sudan and Ethiopia and, most recently, over 41,500 in Malawi.

I Can Believe – MSC for UNICEF (video teaser for World Music Day 2014)
MSC Kreuzfahrten und UNICEF haben mit einem italienischem Kinderchor ein neues Lied aufgenommen. “I Can Believe – MSC for UNICEF” ist der Soundtrack, der für alle UNICEF Maßnahmen, die an Bord der MSC Schiffe unterstützt werden, bekannter macht.
Das Lied wird während der MSC for UNICEF Kinderparade auf jedem MSC Schiff gespielt. So sollen sowohl die Kinder als auch deren Eltern am UNICEF Day auf die Aktionen aufmerksam gemacht werden.

MSC Cruceros y UNICEF han trabajado en asociación desde 2009. Con la iniciativa Get on Board for Children, animamos a nuestros invitados de toda la flota a hacer una contribución a UNICEF. Hasta la fecha, gracias a sus generosas donaciones hemos alcanzado los 6,5 millones de euros. El apoyo del MSC ha permitido entregar más de dos millones de bolsitas de Alimentos Terapéuticos Listas para el Uso. MSC Cruises Kid's Club Activities & Fun (4K)
See what the MSC Kid's Club has in terms of activities and fun for the little ones on their cruise ships. This particular cruise we took was aboard the MSC Divina in December 2017 for a Caribbean cruise. In general there were lots of singing and dancing for the children, and by the end of the cruise, the Kelly & Chloe Song will be burnt into your brains, lol.
Activities included:
* Kid's Pool Side Dance Party with Doremi (the black and white sun-shaped mascot of MSC Cruises)
* Trivia for Kids (Guess what- of the Kelly & Chloe show!)
* MSC for UNICEF (this was a nice event benefiting the international charity)
* Kid's Talent Show
* Doremix where a LEGO guy showed up
Separate from the ship's kid's club, our 7 year old son had a lot of fun on the water slide.
