What Is Mini Bowling?
The Great Wolf Lodge includes several activities, including mini bowling. Imagine a normal bowling alley, except literally everything is half the size. The balls feel like bocce balls. The lane is only half the length and half as wide. The bowling pins are on strings so they can be quickly reset.
With all of that said, this was really fun! Our kids are 7 and 4, and this was the perfect setup for them. We must have played a dozen times.

Emotion Conveyed:
The experience is meant to convey a joyful nostalgia as the user bowls in a retro styled bowling alley.
Sound Effects include alley music, a throw sound, a pins hit sound, and applause.
User Tests:
First test showed that improvements needed to be made to scale and player placement.
Initially, the room felt too small and the bowling lane felt way too long.
Also, If the player dropped the ball on the ground, there was no way to pick it up because
it existed below the player's real world floor.
The second unit test was actual multiple revisions with a player. It was really hard to get
scoring to work correctly most of the time and adjusting timing of when to reset balls and pins.
The second test involved multiple play tests until the game felt playable as a bowling experience.
I also originally allowed the user to freely teleport around the room, but it was found that it made
lining up to bowl very difficult.
