Kura Sushi is a very well-known conveyor belt sushi restaurant chain in Japan and it's such an awesome family restaurant! This branch just opened 3 months ago so I've really been dying to go. How to order, eat and pay for sushi in Japan (at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant)
*** Many people have asked where this restaurant is. The name of the restaurant is Sushiro (in Japanese it's スシロー). This particular one was in Osaka near Sekime-Takadono Station (you can find it on Google Maps by searching for スシロー 関目店), but you don't need to go there because they are all over Japan. Search Google Maps for スシロー and you will see all the restaurants for this chain. Or just search for sushi in English and you'll find all chains and smaller restaurants too.
If you ever come to Japan for a visit, be sure to check out a conveyer belt sushi restaurant! Watching food roll by your table and grabbing what you want as it goes by is one of those ideas that seems wacky but is actually awesome.
However, it might be a little tricky if you don't read or understand Japanese. There is very little English in this restaurant so here is a video that explains everything, from getting a table to paying the bill.

Methods to order & eat Sushi in Japan at Conveiyor Belt Sushi Restaurant!
If come to Japan for a visit or a trip, you cannot miss SUSHI!
In this video, I introduce a conveyor belt Sushi restaurant.
Just keep watching various Sushi plates rolling by you.
You can grab whichever plate you want on the conveyor.
You can eat 1 plate just for 100 to 300 yen.
It is so cheap that many Japanese families go to enjoy Sushi on weekends.
Kagoshima fishes are more fresh than those in other parts of Japan.
It takes time to bring fishes from sea to restaurants in big cities such as Tokyo or Osaka.
So if you really want to enjoy REAL Sushi, Kagoshima is the place to come!
At most of Sushi restaurants, green tea are offered for free.
But shop staff doesn't serve tea for you...
You have to help by yourself.
Just put some tea powder or tea bags and put the cup as you see in this movie!
You can have pickles for free, too!
It is tasted with Japanese vinegar.
But please remember not eat too much.
When you pay the bill, ask the store staff to count the number of plates
Sushi restaurant charges you the bill according to how many plates you eat.
After receiving the bill, please pay money at the counter.
