My 10 Favorite Dutch St. Maarten Restaurants - [Great Eateries You MUST TRY]

Finding a place to eat on the island of St. Maarten is not difficult. There are hundreds of restaurants and eateries all over and it is no wonder that the island is also referred to as the Gourmet Capital of the Caribbean. Picking just 10 was no easy task, so I split it down in two videos, one for the Dutch side and the other for the French side and still I am left with a whole list of places I love but didn't get to mention.

In this video I list my 10 current personal favorite restaurants to eat at, including a handful of local spots you wouldn't want to miss.

I hope you bring your appetite with you when you visit us and I hope that you'll find at least a few of these recommendations to your liking. Don't forget to comment below and let me know which one of the 10 you cannot wait to try for yourself.

Where to get a quick & inexpensive meal in St. Maarten: Jordan Village + Zee Best

One thing I struggled with when I first started traveling to St. Maarten | St. Martin was finding a simple, tasty meal where I didn't need to sit down take up a lot of time. Since I travel alone, for the most part, this came up a lot! I found myself going to the grocery store and buying frozen meals which are never any good or going and eating alone at some restaurant and it taking up a lot of my time and got expensive after a while.

Someone along the way recommended I check out Jordan Village. This area is located in the middle of Maho and Cupecoy directly across the street from the north side of Mullet Beach.

Once I realized that this is the area where The American University of the Caribbean and Caribbean International Academy were, I knew that this would be the perfect spot to find cheap, quick eats since that is exactly what students need.

Now, whenever I'm hungry and just want something quick and easy, I head to this location.

Restaurants in Jordan Village:
Bar Code
La Bodega
Shogun
Jule's
Pizza Dan
Fat Tony's
Spaghetti House
Yami Sushi
Vegolution
Litle Beirut

So, based on that list alone, you can already see how many different options there are. If you are traveling with a group, this can be a great spot for everyone to get exactly what they feel like that night and it can be brought back to the hotel or the house you are staying in.

Just a quick tip for anyone that may be looking for it!

Thanks for watching!

Food Truck Yuminess on St. Martin

Two food trucks you MUST TRY when visiting St. Martin.

Both of these food trucks are exceptional. While La Chingona is more traditional Mexican, Come y Calla is a mashup of Mexican and Caribbean. Like the owner Athena says, it looks Mexican but it tastes Caribbean.

Definitely stop by La Chingona on Tuesdays for their Taco Tuesday special when all their tacos are sold for just $2.

Warning: Once you eat at these food trucks, you will be going back for more time and time again.
