We travel with a Microsoft Surface everywhere we go. I edit my videos on it & use it to backup my pictures and vides while we travel. It’s light and the best travel laptop on the market in my opinion.

We use Sony Alpha series cameras to film our videos. They are compact so you don’t look like a super tourist when you take great pictures and videos while you travel.

We use Manfrotto Tripods. They are compact, travel well, and honestly I would not use another tripod for my nice cameras.

Spanish Riding School Vienna | VIENNA/NOW Sights

In this video, Adia offers you a special view behind the scenes of the Spanish Riding School of Vienna and its world-famous Lipizzaners. The Spanish Riding School offers the highest standard of horse-riding art in the Baroque ambience of the Imperial Palace in Vienna.

01:03 The Lipizzaner Horses of the Spanish Riding School

The Spanish Riding School in Vienna is the only institution in the world where the classic equestrian skills (haute école) has been preserved and is still practiced in its original form. Many years of training fuse horse and rider into an inseparable unit. The audience is treated to an unforgettable experience by the precision of movement of the Lipizzan horses in perfect harmony with the music.

In the course of gala performances, visitors experience unique presentations of the Lipizzans in the most beautiful riding hall in the world, which was impressively outfitted by baroque architect Joseph Emanuel Fischer von Erlach between 1729 and 1735. It was originally built to provide aristocratic youths with the opportunity to take riding instruction. Since December 2015, the horsemanship of the Spanish Riding School has been classified as an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO.

Morning training with music gives a good impression into the training program of the White Stallions; the guided tours include visits to the stables.

Family survival guide for a fun day in Vienna - Vienna with kids

Adia takes her son Liam and his friends Ronja and Miles on a family adventure through Vienna. They take the wildest rides at Prater amusement park, jump the trampoline right in the middle of the Danube and summit the climbing garden on the Danube Island. Even on a rainy day it never gets boring in Vienna: At the Museum of Technology you’ll find trains, planes & automobiles - and even a high voltage room, where you can touch a lightning bolt. And Zoom Children’s Museum is totally hands-on. Fun times in Vienna with kids!
