Aerial China:The high-speed Qianhaizi Double Helix Bridge on the cloud in China!中國雲端上的高速之乾海子雙螺旋特大橋!

Ganhaizi Bridge is located in Shimian County, Ya'an, Sichuan on the Ya (An) Lu (Gu) Expressway. It has a total length of 1811 meters, a bridge width of 24.5 meters, and a total of 36 spans. It is the longest steel tube truss girder highway bridge in the world. The main structure of the bridge is made of steel fiber concrete, which is the first case in the history of bridge construction in the world. Sichuan Province has the longest mileage, the largest investment, and has created many world records. So far, the Jingkun Expressway has been fully connected across the 1,045 kilometers in Sichuan Province.
After the completion of the Qianhaizi Bridge, it will drive on it as if it were in the cloud. It was officially opened to traffic on April 28, 2012. The Jingkun Expressway, a national trunk expressway, realizes the full highway in Sichuan, shortening the distance from Chengdu to Xichang to 420 kilometers, and it can be reached by self-driving in 5 hours. This saves about half of the time compared to the past. The completed Xipan Expressway is enough, and the whole journey takes only 6 hours.
As the Ganhaizi Bridge has entered winter with low temperatures and the road surface is slippery and easy to accumulate snow, snow removal vehicles and other emergency rescue equipment will be equipped in the future. At the same time, the guardrails on both sides are 30 centimeters higher than ordinary high-speed guardrails to prevent vehicles from rushing out of the bridge. In addition, the piers of the bridge also adopted a unique air pipe design, which reduced the weight of the piers. The seismic intensity of the bridge was designed to be 9 degrees.

China Railways vs India Railways - This is truly shocking... ???????? 中国vs印度。。。我震惊了

In just over a decade China has built over 40,000 KM of high speed rail with trains traveling at speeds of between 300 to 350 Km/h. It is the world's longest high speed railway network and most extensively used. China's High speed rail accounts for two-thirds of the world's total high-speed railway networks... There's no other country in the world that even comes close to China's record.

CHONGQING CITY CHINA 4K - Chongqing Incredible Infrastructure - Drone Video

Let's explore CHONGQING CITY in our Tour 2022 4k Ultra HD - Chongqing City China - Drone Video...
In this video, we take a look at Chongqing city, China, from a drone perspective! Chongqing is an incredible city with an incredible infrastructure - check out this drone video to see for yourself!
This drone video of Chongqing city is perfect for anyone interested in China, Chongqing city, or infrastructure. The video is shot in 4K resolution and is smooth enough to watch without any lag, making it perfect for streaming or downloading. Whether you're a first-time visitor to Chongqing or just looking for a new drone video to watch, this one's worth a watch!

One of the biggest cities in the world, with over 30 million people, Chongqing is an exciting metropolis. Few places in China, or anywhere else can claim an annual GDP growth rate of at least 10 percent for well over a decade.   For me, Chongqing is rather like a small province, with a core city of over 8 million people. Economic growth began to take off spectacularly since Chongqing became its own municipality, separate from Sichuan province in 1997.

China From Above - Scenic Travel Documentary

In this scenic travel documentary I take you on an aerial journey through China, one of the world’s most fascinating, beautiful, complex and diverse countries.

From rugged mountain landscapes and beautiful nature reserves to modern skylines of seemingly ever-growing cities. From small, tranquil villages nestled among green rice terraces to walled cities steeped in history, traditions, and culture. From massive industrial complexes and factories to modern office towers and awe-inspiring architecture.

I filmed all footage for this 4K video between 2016 and 2019, on four independent journeys through China. It is accompanied by calm, relaxing music, sometimes with a cinematic, upbeat, or mysterious undertone. For other travel documentaries click here:

Here’s a brief overview of some of the places visited in this video:

After a short introduction, we begin this journey near the spectacular rice terraces of Yuanyang, before moving on to the captivating Buddhist temples of Dali. Via the peculiar Shilin Stone Forest and the ‘Rainbow Mountains’ of Zhangye, we arrive in Guangzhou (Canton), one of China’s largest cities. After the Yellow Mountains national park, and the intriguing ‘tulou’ buildings, we visit the Great Wall and the Leshan Giant Buddha, the largest such statue in the world.

After flying through the ice and snow city of Harbin, where people enjoy a unique Winter event, we take a brief look at the imposing Yellow River, Hukou waterfall, Zhengzhou and Changsha cities, before stopping at the breathtaking Jiuzhaigou national park, filled with crystal clear blue lakes. The next place is the countryside in between rural Yangshuo and urban Guilin, easily one of the most popular tourist destinations in China, where the Li river meanders through bizarre karst scenery.

For more diversity, we travel to Dunhuang to visit the arid Gobi Desert. We also have a look at a solar panel field and windmill park, before we fly over some heavy industry, including a steel factory, coal mine, oil refinery, concrete dam, shipyard, an oil rig, and a massive bridge. Hong Kong is our next destinations, before moving on to several places along the Yangtze river (or its distributaries), including Tiger Leaping Gorge, Chongqing, and Wuhan.

On Hainan island we see the ‘tropical’ side of China, while in Xiahe and Tibet we visit the country’s highlands. From the frozen cities of Jilin and Xining we arrive in Qingdao, with its German colonial architecture and coastal vibe. In Macau we fly over the famous casinos, but also visit the Portuguese quarters, and after the rice fields of Longji (Dragon’s Backbone), we increase our altitude in the Yulong national park.

After Hangzhou and Shenyang, we briefly look at one of China’s many ‘ghost towns’ and construction sites, before flying on to the surreal pillars of Zhangjiajie, and the (perhaps) equally stunning skyline of Shanghai. After showing the modern part of the city and the port (harbor), we also explore some of the disappearing neighborhoods, destroyed factories, and the strange looking ‘bicycle graveyard’.

From the freezing ‘Xuexiang’ village and walled city of Pingyao we continue our journey in Xian, Shenzhen, Suzhou, and Changzhou. Finally, we take a look at the mesmerizing Yuanmou ‘Earth Forest’, Kunming city, and Lijiang, one of China’s most famous historic towns.

Aerial China:Taiyuan Tianlong Mountain Highway, the third floor circles halfway up the mountain

Tianlong Mountain Highway,
The starting point is located on the southwest side of the original highway,
It's 30 kilometers long, with four viaducts and a tunnel along the way,
The difference between the start and the finish is 350 meters,
Seen from above, the road is like a dragon hovering over the mountains,
It is known as the highway on the cloud.
Due to the complex terrain of Tianlong Mountain,
The highway has a vertical drop of 350 meters from the start to the end.
With an average height of three meters for a one-story residential building,
That's the height of a 116-story building, which is a huge difference,
That's why there are so many big bends in this section.
Internet celebrity three-storey Viaduct
The birth is to reduce the height difference, improve driving comfort.
All viaducts are made of steel box girders assembled and welded,
18,000 tons of steel for four viaducts,
Among them, more than 7,000 tons of steel are used for Internet celebrities viaducts.
The steel box girders are prefabricated off-site and assembled on-site,
Use crawler crane and wheel crane to work together.
Not only that, but the road uses a lot of new technology,
Some are even being adopted for the first time in the whole province,
For example, epoxy asphalt is used on elevated roads,
This asphalt binds better to steel beams,
And has very good ductility, can prevent late cracking.
Considering that steel beams are malleable under temperature changes,
The elevated expansion joint also uses a multi-directional displacement comb plate,
Can be compatible with multiple directions of expansion.

Journey Through China's Cities - Urban Travel Documentary

China is one of the world’s most fascinating and complicated countries, and its cities seem to get bigger every year. Considered a rural society just a few decades ago, China today is home to the world’s largest urban population.

In this travel documentary, I take you on a journey through some of the country’s most interesting cities. While many city centers are filled with modern skyscrapers, we also search for more traditional neighborhoods, historic sites, tranquil parks, special events, and cultural activities. We look at the rapid changes China is undergoing in its urbanization process, and mention some of the challenges the country is facing.

From the modern megacities of Shenzhen and Guangzhou we travel to the ancient centers of Beijing and Xian. We visit the popular Summer holiday beaches of coastal Qingdao, and the exciting Winter festivals of Harbin. From the streets of fusion cities like Hong Kong and Macau we continue our journey to Tibetan Lhasa, located on the Rooftop of the World. We also take a look at the disappearing alleys of old Kashgar, in the controversial Xinjiang region, and the empty streets of Ordos, China’s best known ghost town. And we explore the expanding urban centers along the Yangtze river, including Wuhan and Chongqing, all the way to the fast paced metropolis of Shanghai.

I traveled through China independently for more than a decade, on several occasions. The footage in this video was shot between 2010 and 2019, and is accompanied by background information. For more in-depth information on each place, I recommend to read, watch, and listen to as many different sources as you can.

Here’s a brief overview of the content in this video:

We begin our journey in Shanghai, one of China’s most remarkable cities. Its skyline has become a symbol for the country’s economic growth. While we look at the modern face of Shanghai, I also visit some more traditional neighborhoods, even though they are disappearing fast.

We travel onwards to Harbin, in the North of China, to visit a spectacular Winter festival, with sculptures and palaces made from ice and snow, which draws millions of tourists every year. Beijing, the nation’s capital, is our next destination. This is the political heart of China, but also brims with culture and creativity.

In Chongqing, located on the mighty Yangtze river, we witness some of the urbanization process, while in Lhasa we look at the traditions and customs of the Tibetan people. We travel onwards to Xian, where we walk on the ancient city walls, eat some delicious food in the Muslim neighborhood, and visit the magnificent Terracotta Army.

After Xian, we travel to Ordos, China’s best known ‘ghost town’. After which we continue our way to Kashgar, in the now controversial Xinjiang region, where the faith of the Uyghur people hangs in the balance. Qingdao is our next destination, one of China’s most beautiful coastal cities, where we also explore some of the suburbs.

Hong Kong is perhaps the perfect mix between East and West. A short ferry ride away, Macau retains some of its Portuguese history, but is also known as the ‘Las Vegas of Asia’ with its many casinos. Just across the ‘border’ from both, Shenzhen has grown into one of China’s largest and wealthiest cities, while it was just a small fishing village 40 years ago.

The last two cities we visit are Wuhan and Guangzhou, which have their own distinct character. I visited Wuhan before the pandemic broke out, and found a sprawling city. Guangzhou is also a vast metropolis, and is known for its Cantonese culture and cuisine.

Driving in Hangzhou, The Incredible Modern City | Zhejiang, China

Friends, it was a rainy morning in early January in Hangzhou.

It was very cold and it was a holiday.

Everyone didn’t come out. I drove in the central business district. There was no traffic jam, and it was very pleasant.

Hangzhou is a famous tourist city in China.

Hangzhou is the capital of Zhejiang Province and the local political, economic and cultural center.

As the southern terminus of the Grand Canal, the city is located on the lower reaches of the Qiantang River in southeast China, a superior position in the Yangtze Delta and only 112 mi (180 km) from Shanghai.

The subtropical monsoon climate contributes to varied seasonal sceneries, making Hangzhou one of China's most popular travel destinations all the year round.

The West Lake is undoubtedly the most renowned landmark, noted for the scenic beauty that blends naturally with many famous historical and cultural sites. The Ten West Lake Prospects selected from the most frequently visited attractions around the lake give travelers a panoramic view of the city’s highlights. Take a stroll along the causeway by the lake; you’ll feel the peaceful ethos of the city and better understand its time-honored fame as 'Heaven on Earth'.

Hangzhou is one of the most important tourist cities in China. With its enchanting natural scenery and rich cultural heritage, it attracts many visitors. It is gradually being transformed into a city of technology.

With a history stretching back 5,000 years, Hangzhou is one of China’s seven ancient capitals.

----------------------⭐⭐
1. Hangzhou has glorious history and culture.
----------------------⭐⭐
Hangzhou is one of China's seven ancient capitals and has been designated a Historic and Cultural City by the government.

Its history can be traced back over 2,200 years to the Qin dynasty (221-206 BC). It flourished after being linked with the north via the Grand Canal, which starts in Beijing and ends in Hangzhou.

From 907 to 978 AD, Hangzhou was the capital of the Wuyue Kingdom during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period. Then in 1132 it became the capital of the Southern Song dynasty (1127-1279).

----------------------⭐⭐
2. It boasts two World Heritage Sites–West Lake and the Grand Canal.
----------------------⭐⭐
West Lake, the symbol of Hangzhou, is regarded as one of the most beautiful sights in China. In 2011, it was recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

It is a perfect combination of temples, pagodas, pavilions, gardens, and ornamental trees, as well as causeways and artificial islands.

At a length of more than 2,000 kilometers, the Grand Canal is the longest canal or artificial river in the world, running from Beijing in the north to Hangzhou in the south.

It was added to the World Heritage List in 2014. You should not miss a boat trip along the canal to find out about and experience its glorious history.

----------------------⭐⭐
3. Hangzhou is famous for its tea and silk.
----------------------⭐⭐
Hangzhou is the birthplace of Dragon Well (Longjing) tea, which is the most famous green tea in China and ranked as first among China's top 10 teas.

Ever since ancient times, Hangzhou, known as the Capital of Tea in China, has been a famous tea-production base in China. Tea culture is an important feature of the city.

Hangzhou tea plantations mainly consist of Longjing Tea Plantation and Meijiawu Tea Plantation.

Walking round picking tea leaves in a plantation and learning the art of tea-making are memorable experiences. If you are a tea fan, you are welcome to join our 1-Day Dragon Well Tea Culture Tour.

Hangzhou is also the historic center of China's silk production. It has always been regarded as the Silk City. You'll see silk clothing and trinkets everywhere. Hangzhou silk is soft, luxurious, and decorative. It makes a great souvenir to take home once you have visited Hangzhou.

----------------------⭐⭐
4. The best seasons to visit are spring and fall.
----------------------⭐⭐
The best times to visit Hangzhou are in spring (March–May) and fall (September–November), when outdoor attractions such as lakes, tea plantations, and water towns can be comfortably visited.

You’d better avoid weekends, however, and Chinese public holidays, such as Labor Day (May 1 to 7) and National Day (October 1 to 7). At such times, Hangzhou is always crowded with Chinese people.
