COVID-19: Aviation’s Fight For Survival

This video take a closer look at the current state of aviation during COVID-19 crisis. How Aviation is fighting for survival during COVID-19?

Take a guess Just how many flights in the sky on an average day?

The number of flights in the sky have fallen more than half recently and the number continue to drop around the world. The sky is getting empty! Take a look at all the airplane grounding footage from all over the world.

Airports are getting empty, so as airline lounges and the flight itself. In the video, we discuss about the social distancing inside airplane.

While passenger flights and numbers are falling, air cargo operation have play a crucial role in times of crisis, delivering lifesaving medical supplies and materials. Lot of airlines are now using their passenger planes to carry cargo only. We examine the cargo operation closely.

It is not all bad news during COVID-19. Private aviation is booming with high demand of private flight for charter, repatriation and transportation of medical equipment use. Qatar Airways have recently increased 10,000 seat and deploy A380 on route to London, Paris and Frankfurt due to increase demand as other airlines have suspended operations.

We also saw a 51 year old DC-8 of Samaritan’s Purse (US Aid Organization) recently flew to Verona, Italy. This latest mission saw the aircraft perform a flight to Verona in Italy, where it unloaded a 68 bed field hospital.

To end the video, I hope the sky will return to normal. Enjoy the time-lapse footage from London, Los Angeles and Hong Kong.

My Flight From USA To UK During The COVID-19 Outbreak | Curly Tales

Curly Tales Contributor @humaiqbal shared her flight experience from Houston to London during the COVID-19 Outbreak. Huma shared her experience of entering a ghosted airport to no security lines, food court staff not wearing gloves along with the sanitation facilities provided inside, and the necessary precautions carried out by the airport staff. It might not be safe to travel during the times of COVID-19 and hence it's best to stay home and stay safe.

Current Singapore Daily Life During COVID19

COVID 19 or Corona Virus is still going and going all around the world, there is still no cure for this Virus. Every day we can see the news that hundreds infected everywhere in the world. We all hope that COVID 19 would be over soon. ????

In Singapore currently, the situation is still bad, just like other countries in the world, and the Government tries its best to handle the Corona Virus Outbreak. ????

Even though there is no lockdown and we don't need to wear mask all of the time, but they always notify Singaporean to #stayathome #selfquarantine. #workfromhome and #socialdistancing. While the researcher and medical worker is trying hard to find the cure. ????

What can we do is, try to stay at home at all times and only go out to buy food or essential. It's been a while since I travel to a Tourism place like Bugis, Chinatown, Marina Bay sands or even Mall. ????????

So in this video, i buy the weekly essential and also showing you around, what is it like to be in Singapore during the COVID19.

So my place is near the Geylang Bahru Food center, which is around 20 minutes walk and also Fair Price, the local supermarket in Singapore. It is also near the Geylang Bahru MRT station.

There is no food rush because all supermarkets now limit purchase as I show you in the video. The stock is also available. But still, we hope that this will be over soon, we don't know when is this going to be better. ????
Keep healthy and safe. ????

The video cover more repatriation and urgent cargo flights bringing medical supplies and equipments by United, Delta, Austrian Airlines, LOT Polish, Lufthansa, Bamboo Airways, Nepal Airlines, Air India, Garuda Indonesia, Ethiopian Airlines and many more airlines not mentioned here.

Mask-less in Singapore 28th March 2020 (Coronavirus situation)

My friends and clients have been asking for the latest video update of life in Singapore now. Since my earlier video on 7th March, we now have 844 Coronavirus cases and 3 deaths. With the recent introduction of social distancing measures, you can see from the video places likes banks, food courts, fast food outlets have seats marked-out. I cycled (for 3 hours) through the following places :
- Little India
- Kampong Glam
- Bugis Junction Mall
- The National Library
- The Civic District (Connaught Drive & The Padang)
- Merlion Park & Marina Bay area
- Chinatown
- Clarke Quay
- Orchard Road

Stricter measures were announced on 24th March to combat community transmission by capping social gatherings to 10 people or less as well as closing all entertainment venues – including bars, clubs and cinemas – from 27th March to 30th April, or longer. People were encouraged to stay home and not go to the malls this weekend but look at how many people are still out and about! No lockdown though..... yet.

Most of the restaurants, fast food outlets, hawker centres, food courts are still open, although they are seeing fewer customers. Food deliveries are doing well now. Malls and most attractions are still open but at reduced operating hours. Schools are still open.

All short-term visitors are barred from entering or transiting via Singapore. All Singapore residents and long-term pass holders returning from overseas apart from Hubei province must serve the 14-day stay-home notice (SHN), while those returning from Hubei must serve a 14-day quarantine. There are about 10 hotels like the Swissotel Stamford booked out by the government for housing SHN (stay-home notice) for Singapore Residents returning home from abroad to serve out their 14-day isolation, instead of them going back to their own homes and risking the potential spread of the virus to their family members. What luxury!

* Video quality reduced to Standard Definition (SD) by YouTube recently due to increased bandwidth traffic worldwide *

In the video I rode passed Nando's, and I mentioned I would love to buy Nando's for little Layla from UK who was in tears that Nando's is closed in UK. Here is the her teary video :

Singapore Bus Ride during COVID-19 - Bendemeer to Orchard Road

A few days ago, I need to buy some groceries, so I decided to go to Don Don Donki. Japanese Supermarket around the Orchard road. That is inside Orchard Central Mall near the Somerset MRT. ????

So i am thinking to shoot the Street Condition when i am taking the bus 65, the bus pass tourism areas like Bugis, Jalan Besar (near Mustafa Center), Orchard, Dhoby Ghaut, Singapore National Museum and also Singapore Art Museum.

The bus tour/bus ride is around 30 minutes and i sit on the top deck of the bus.
During the circuit breaker, as advised by the Singapore Government, not a lot of people traveling, Stay at home is the best way to prevent COVID19.

Next video is about the extra effort just to buy groceries in the supermarket

Watch the condition of Orchard road during circuit breaker ( semi lockdown ) ????
