What Israelis Really Think about Jesus, Messianic Jews and Christianity

What do Israelis think about Jesus and Christianity? Today I’m going to talk about a very sensitive and interesting topic.

I have decided to close the membership program here on YouTube and open one on Ko-fi instead. It is so much better than YouTube! There are several advantages: I can send you messages and answer your questions privately; I can post several photos together; you can choose between one-time support or becoming a member and sending your support once a year and not once a month… And if you send me $10 then I get… $10! There is no commission! (Whereas YouTube takes 30% commission.)

Thanks for your support – you keep me going!

Entering America’s Most Religious Community

As someone who grew up Jewish in Arizona, I’ve always been fascinated by the Hasidic Jews of Brooklyn, New York. They are widely considered to be America’s most religious and closed-off community, even more than the Amish of Pennsylvania. In this 47-minute documentary, I embark on a journey to uncover the secrets of the Hasidics behind closed doors, and discover what makes their lifestyles so incredibly unique.

Guided in the beginning by my friend Abby Stein, a former Hasidic rabbi who is now a transgender author, I gain a fascinating insight into Hasidic life and customs from her perspective - both the good and the bad.

In our climax scene, I meet with @ShloimeZionce, a fellow traveler and YouTuber, who opens the doors to his home so I could document a traditional Shabbat dinner with his family. With the permission of a rabbi, we capture the essence of this essential weekly ritual and the warmth and hospitality of the Hasidic people. You can follow Shloime's adventures on his channel:

This story is really fascinating and I'm really proud of how it came out. From the traditional clothing, music, and food to the strict gender roles and controversies surrounding the community, this documentary dives deep into every aspect of Hasidic life with a balanced portrayal of the good and the bad.

Join me on this captivating journey to experience the Hasidic Jews of Brooklyn, New York, like never seen before.

Discrimination against Jews and Christians in Jerusalem (Ascending the Temple Mount)

Jews, Christians and basically any people who are not Muslims are being discriminated against in Jerusalem and yet nobody is talking about it.
Everything I’m going to say in this video is as clear as day but, as so often happens, the big stories are right in front of us but everybody chooses to look the other way.
Today we’re not going to look the other way. Today we’re going to look directly at the sad reality of the Temple Mount.

Why do Hasidic Jews wear a fur hat? The Western Wall (Wailing Wall), Jerusalem, Israel

An important and personal request from me (followed by information about the site): unfortunately as a tour guide I have not worked since February 2020. Please subscribe to my site and let me show you the Holy Land through it
On my YouTube site, you can watch more than 18,000 videos about Israel and the Holy Land
I would be happy if you could share the site with your other friends who are interested in the rich and sacred history of the place

A shtreimel (Yiddish: שטרײַמל‎, plural שטרײַמלעך shtraimlech) is a fur hat worn by many married Haredi Jewish men, particularly (although not exclusively) members of Hasidic Judaism, on Shabbat and Jewish holidays and other festive occasions. In Jerusalem, the shtreimel is also worn by Litvak Jews (non-Hasidim who belong to the original Ashkenazi community of Jerusalem, also known as Perushim). The shtreimel is generally worn only after marriage, except in some Yerushalmi communities, where boys wear it from the age of bar mitzvah.
There is much speculation surrounding the origin of the shtreimel. According to the Encyclopædia Britannica, it is of Tatar origin. Different theories hold that it is of Tatar, Turkish or Russian origin, but it is not possible to establish a clear chronology. Some legends say that the initial reason for adopting the shtreimel was that the czar of the time decreed that the Jews must dress like the Gentiles.[citation needed] The shtreimel is comparable in construction to fur hats historically worn by Central European (Polish) and Eastern European Russian boyar nobility.[citation needed] According to the Jewish Historical Institute in Warsaw, the shtreimel comes from the costume of Polish nobility, the Gentiles

Zahi Shaked A tour guide in Israel and his camera zahigo25@walla.com +972-54-6905522 tel סיור עם מורה הדרך ומדריך הטיולים צחי שקד 0546905522
My name is Zahi Shaked
In 2000 I became a registered liscenced tourist guide.
My dedication in life is to pass on the ancient history of the Holy Land.

Following upon many years of travel around the world, which was highlighted by a very exciting emotional and soul-searching meeting with the Dalai Lama, I realized that I had a mission. To pass on the the history of the Holy Land, its religions, and in particular, the birth and development of Christianity.

In order to fulfill this calling in the best way possible, I studied in depth, visited, and personally experienced each and every important site of the ancient Christians. I studied for and received my first bachelors degree in the ancient history of the Holy Land, and am presently completing my studies for my second degree.(Masters)

Parralel to my studies, and in order to earn a living, I was employed for many years in advertising. What I learned there was how to attract the publics attention, generate and, increase interest, and assimilate information. All this I use as tools to describe, explain and deepen the interest in the sites that we visit. From my experience, I have learned that in this way, the Holy Land becomes more than just history, and that the large stones that we see scattered about in dissaray, join together one by one until they become - a Byzantine Church. This also happens when I lead a group of Pilgrims in the Steps of Jesus. We climb to the peak of Mount Precipice, glide over the land to the Sea of Galilee, land on the water and see the miracle which enfolds before us. This is a many faceted experience. Not only history which you will remember and cherish, but an experience which I hope will be inplanted in your hearts and minds, and will accompany you all the days of your life.

Saloniki has been called the Jerusalem of the Balkans, ever since the Greek City allowed an influx of Sephardic Jews fleeing the Spanish Inquisition.
At the turn of the century the Jewish community of 50,000 made up half of the city's population but by the time of the Holocaust, over 95% were murdered.

The history of the Jews passed in the period from 1153 BC (the date of the death of the Prophet Joshua bin Nun), to 586 BC (the year in which the Kingdom of Judah fell at the hands of the Babylonians) in three stages. These stages continued in some opinions for nearly two centuries, or According to the texts of the Book of Judges from the Old Testament, it lasted approximately four centuries, and it was said that it lasted about a full century between 1125 BC and 1025 BC.
These stages are:
The first stage: the era of judges.
The second stage: the era of the first kings.
The third stage: The era of decline and division, which led to the demise of the kingship of the children of Israel from Palestine, and it is called the era of the second king.
What are these three stages? Why was it given these names? Who are the judges for whom the first stage was named? Who are the kings of the first and second era? What is the difference between the two covenants? Why was there deterioration and division in the second era? Why wasn't it in the first place?
We will answer all of these questions in this video, so stay with us until the end of the video... and do not forget to press the like button and subscribe to the channel... I am Ramadan El-Rydi and this is my channel (East Gate.(
