Highlights of Mongolia from Above | Drone | DJI Mavic Pro | 4K

Mongolia has no shortage of beautiful scenery. As we traveled around the country, the scenery that surrounded us got more and more spectacular.

In the Gobi desert, the landscape was dry and rocky. In Central Mongolia, sand dunes were replaced by green pastures dotted with sheep, goats, cows, and yaks. And as we moved further North, pine forests became the dominant feature of the area.

Mongolia was truly one of the most beautiful countries we have traveled to this year, but it’s not one without challenges. Lack of infrastructure, difficulty in getting around, and a very short warm weather period, make this one of the more challenging destinations to visit. But those that do make it out here will attest, that the struggle is absolutely worth it!

Mongolia by Drone Mavic Pro [4K]

Filmed with DJI Mavic pro with DJI ND filters.

I spent 17 days in Mongolia and luckily there are no real drone rules there. The vast expanse of space and few people make it so that it's very easy to fly. I never once was told you can't except for in Ulanbaatar near the Chinggis statue.

Always keep your eyes on the drone. Stay to the maximum altitude and keep a good signal between you and the satellites.

Most people are friendly and rather curious, so they will come up to you and try to look at your monitor.

Beautiful Landscapes of Central Mongolia | 2017 | DJI Mavic Pro | Sony A7RII

Central Mongolia is the true heartland of the country. Here, green pastures dominate the landscape and the land is dotted with sheep, goats, cows, and yaks. This region is home to historical sites and natural beauty, filled with vast spaces, green hills, forested mountains, pretty lakes, and even hot springs.

It is evident that unlike other parts of the country, herding is still a way of life here. This was our favourite part of the country and one that allowed us to feel the true pace of life in Mongolia.

Featuring footage from Gorkhi-Terelj National Park, Kharkhorin (Karakorum), Erdene Zuu Monaster , Tsetserleg, Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur (Great White Lake), and more!

Incredible Gobi Desert Tour, Mongolia | 2017 | DJI Mavic Pro | Sony A7RII

The Gobi Desert, spanning southern Mongolia and northern China, is a destination with a harsh climate and an array of vast landscapes. It's home to incredible sand dunes, rock canyons, valleys, dinosaur fossils and, of course, camels.

It's a fascinating region and one of Mongolia's top travel destinations! Almost every tour company offers an opportunity for travelers to experience the Gobi Desert during their visit to Mongolia, but we found that the best way to see this region was to explore it at out own pace...

Featuring footage from: Baga Gazriin Chuluu, Tsagaan Suvraga (White Stupas), Yoliin Am (Ice Field), Khongoryn Els (sand dunes), and Bayanzag Flaming Cliffs.

Shot with DJI Mavic Pro and Sony A7RII in August 2017.

Mongolia by Drone (4k)

Near the end of last year I travelled to Mongolia for three weeks filming for a documentary focusing on the changing climate and how it is affecting the way of life for the Mongolian people. While I was there we visited some of the most incredible places I've been and had some amazing experiences, meeting the local people and getting a glimpse into their lives. Over the last month or so I've put together some of my favourite aerial footage from the trip, resulting in this video!

Tips on How to Save Money and how to make money for your next dream travels
The first aspect is for you to figure out how much money you need to save which depends on where you planning to travel and how much fun you want to have in your travel. Whatever your plans may be: it’s best to have a plan in place.
Create a saving plan which will help you to accumulate money for travel
-Assessment of the cost of your trips
-Set financial goals
-Create a saving plan
-Implement your travel money goals
-Monitor and reassess of your travel money goals
Adhere to your saving plans for your next dream travels
-Saving money is slow but you can do it if you set a goal by
reducing your expenditures, selling some stuff, and earning some extra income.
Start a dedicated travel fund
-You can potentially create your travel savings bank account and save on a monthly or weekly basis even if it's just $10. Make it fun, habit, natural, painless, and Revel its growth over time.
Additional Tips
-Reduce your utility bills
The average utility bill in the US ranges from $90 to $140 a month. If you reduce 15% off your money by doing fewer loads of laundry and conserving energy, you could add around $225 to your savings, annually.
-Invest in Real Estate or other asset classes so that you can potentially have a passive income that allows you to travel.
-build an online business like Amazon FBA, dropshipping, blogging, or your own eCommerce store that will generate you enough money for your travels.
-Reduce the cost of your gym membership
-Save on clothing expenses
Finally, be financially efficient. Watching your friends go out overnight to buy expensive electronics, pricey cocktails, and new boots will make it a little hard to save. Plan your trips: by budgeting both time and money, you will have a wonderful experience in your travels.

Ulaanbaatar is the capital of Mongolia. It’s in the Tuul River valley, bordering the Bogd Khan Uul National Park. Originally a nomadic Buddhist center, it became a permanent site in the 18th century. Soviet control in the 20th century led to a religious purge. Soviet-era buildings, museums within surviving monasteries, and a vibrant conjunction of traditional and 21st-century lifestyles typify the modern city. ― Google

This was my first time traveling with a drone! I’ve enjoyed learning the many nuances of how to achieve great shots and how to edit & color grade them. There’s still so much to learn, and I would appreciate any insights or advice in the comments!

Thanks to Koryo Tours and Discover Mongolia for their guidance and insights on our journies across this magnificent country, as well as to my travel mates for their assistance and patience when getting these shots.

This Is Mongolia 4k

This year, I decided to take one of the hardest but exciting decisions I've ever made, exploring Mongolia for 18 days. I didn't know what to expect, all I had with me is prior months of exploring this country through Google Earth and then transforming this exploration into real life.

The spots I was interested in exploring were so remote and very hard to reach even with the car, considering there're no roads. 90% of the travel agencies did not approve to take me to the spots, considering how remote they are, until one of them told me, I will hire for you a very experienced driver, and you will direct him where I'm interested to go, but this expedition has to be private since no one would be willing to do that with me. I accepted the offer.

What I experienced and witnessed you will see in this film. It was one of the hardest challenge I've ever made but never regret doing it, I became a better person after this spirtual exploration expedition.

I'm not sponsored or supported financially by anyone. I'm trying to make my passion as full job by traveling and showing you the beauty of this world with inspirational films.

The eastern part of the country is covered by vast expanses of the Asian steppe.
The steppe is blurred in the Gobi Desert, which extends into southern Mongolia from East to West.

Grassland of MONGOLIA by Drone | DJI MAVIC AIR |

Mongolia, historically Outer Mongolia, country located in north-central Asia. It is roughly oval in shape, measuring 1,486 miles (2,392 km) from west to east and, at its maximum, 782 miles (1,259 km) from north to south. Mongolia’s land area is roughly equivalent to that of the countries of western and central Europe, and it lies in a similar latitude range. The national capital, Ulaanbaatar.

Landlocked Mongolia is located between Russia to the north and China to the south, deep within the interior of eastern Asia far from any ocean. The country has a marked continental climate, with long cold winters and short cool-to-hot summers. Its remarkable variety of scenery consists largely of upland steppes, semideserts, and deserts, although in the west and north forested high mountain ranges alternate with lake-dotted basins. Mongolia is largely a plateau, with an average elevation of about 5,180 feet (1,580 metres) above sea level. The highest peaks are in the Mongolian Altai Mountains (Mongol Altain Nuruu) in the southwest, a branch of the Altai Mountains system.
Some three-fourths of Mongolia’s area consists of pasturelands, which support the immense herds of grazing livestock for which the country is known. The remaining area is about equally divided between forests and barren deserts, with only a tiny fraction of the land under crops. With a total population of fewer than three million, Mongolia has one of the lowest average population densities of any country in the world.
