There are so many words we could use to describe Riley and Elliot's Austin, Texas wedding film: wild, gorgeous, emotional, and the list goes on and on. But when you strip away all of the decorations and the crazy party, you're left with the word that describes not only the weekend but also their entire relationship... family. This wedding really was all about family. Riley and Elliot have known each other their whole lives and their families are best friends, but somewhere along the way their sibling-like relationship changed. They have the kind of love that, since high school, friends have called couple goals. It really was amazing to see not only their love, but also the love between their families.
And if you'll indulge, I'm going to get a bit personal. You see, there was another element to family this weekend. We already knew what a wonderful group we'd be working with because we shot Riley's sister Jordan's wedding a year earlier. What we didn't know is that we'd be shooting Riley and Elliot's wedding two days after Rick's father passed away. It was a hard time for us, but this family embraced us like we were one of their own and made us feel so loved. We can't thank them enough.

Cue the tears and pass the tissues because Micah and Jacob are sure to make you cry. We definitely shed some tears throughout their beautiful wedding day at The Baumberhof. From their sweet moment back-to-back before the ceremony to Jacob's powerful reaction as Micah walked down the aisle, it was an emotion-packed weekend. These two met on the worship team in junior high and it wasn't long before they became an inseparable duo. We loved listening to the sweet stories at their rehearsal dinner shared by family and friends. This was clearly a day everyone had been waiting for for a long time. And let's not forget the stunning details planned by Lauren Corp. The growing vines and terra-cotta pots brought Micah's garden-chic vision to life. It truly was a magical day.

You are my one in seven billion.
These two... the way they love... the way they live... nothing lacks passion. They laughed and cried their way through their personal vows, and I'm pretty sure we all did the same.
Kennedy and Joey are fellow wedding videographers. It's always n̶e̶r̶v̶e̶-̶w̶r̶a̶c̶k̶i̶n̶g̶ an honor to film our industry friends, and this weekend was no exception. They had planned a large wedding at home, but when Covid hit, they postponed and opted for a more intimate destination wedding. We loved every minute of it... from celebrating their dog's birthday, to a donut truck in lieu of a traditional wedding cake, to the entire wedding party jumping in the pool at the end of the night. It was totally them. We hope when you watch their film you can feel the same passion we felt spending a weekend with this wonderful group.

Kelly and Chase have waited a long time to be married. High school sweethearts, they've been together nine years! So you can imagine what a celebration it was. These two, as well as their friends and family, know how to have a good time. All weekend they were smiling and laughing, from the fun rehearsal dinner and beautiful ceremony to an absolutely amazing reception at The Corinthian in downtown Houston. Keely Thorne Events designed a stunner, complete with chandeliers and flowers hanging from the ceiling. Top it all off with not one but two confetti blasts, and you surely have a night to remember.

Oh the tears that were shed this wedding day. Logan and Brittany are high school sweethearts who spent years in a long-distance relationship, so this day was a long time coming for them. The love and excitement throughout the day was contagious, and Logan's reaction as Brittany walked down the aisle was so emotional. But it was the special moments about Brittany's late father that were so so powerful. Brittany's mother had her wedding ring made into a necklace, so as Brittany said, her dad could walk her down the aisle. Hello waterworks. They cried, they laughed, and they danced the night away in the gorgeous Sunken Gardens of St Petersburg.

Talk about being excited for your wedding day to finally arrive... Dru and Brooks are high school sweethearts, and they had been dating for almost seven years before they finally got to say I do. I knew Dru was a woman after my own heart when I learned she'd bought little wedding outfits for her dogs. :-) And that was just the start of the fun. Following their ceremony at Dru's family's church, they had a huge celebration at Gaillardia Country Club. The decor was absolutely gorgeous, and they made sure their guests were entertained all night with lawn games, popcorn, a s'mores bar, an awesome band, and even an appearance by the OKC Thunder mascot Rumble the Bison. When it was time to say goodnight they were sent off in style with a classic car passing through shimmering white fireworks.

First and Last Love: A Story of High School Sweethearts. {Ramiyah & Tommy}
What started out as an innocent text message during Ramiyah and Tommy's freshman year of high school gained momentum and blossomed into a beautiful, lifelong relationship. At a young age these two fell deeply in love, and it led them to a spectacular wedding day full of love and compassion. Friends and family cannot imagine the two without one another as a couple, they have grown up together and watched each other develop into the adults they are today. You know how there are some people in the world who are so cute you just want to squeeze them? I mean, they are so freakin' adorable it makes you sick... not really... but yeah pretty much. LOL Well that's Taylor. This girl is so happy, so bubbly, and I died laughing when she and Mark told me the story of how they met and started debating whether or not they are high school sweethearts. (Want to know the answer? You'll just have to watch their film. mwahahaha) We loved their wedding day at Asbury United Methodist and The Mayo Hotel, both because they're such a fun couple and because we got to work with some great wedding pro friends. Annnnd we might have even shed a tear or two thanks to Taylor's dad. We hope you love their day as much as we did.

Highschool sweethearts Emily and Thomas had a beautiful wedding day at Middleburg Barn/Foxchase Farms wedding venue in Middleburg, Virginia. After ten years of growth and love, their friends and family eagerly celebrated these two as they tied the knot. The day was full of energy and smiles--and we could see why! Emily and Thomas are the kindest souls and truly deserved the best wedding day. We couldn't be more excited for these two as they start an exciting chapter in their journey together.

Highschool Sweethearts: You gotta go the distance when it's THIS good | Kristen + Fraser
Kristen and Fraser are highschool sweethearts – what a great love story that any wedding videographer would be happy to tell! We were the lucky ones chosen to capture the culmination of their long journey together and it didn’t disappoint. We loved how the couple decided to go back to their highschool to get some pictures during the photoshoot, especially since most of their bridal party attended the same school. So much meaning and memories attached to the White Oaks Secondary School and having some shots there really helped with our story telling in this video.
Kristen found us through a friend who also used us to film their wedding – Danielle + Nate. They also happened to be highschool sweethearts! We couldn’t be more thankful to Danielle for introducing us to Kristen and making this all happen! Honestly, the video came together so perfectly and everything just seemed to fall into place – you have to watch it to see what we mean!
Kristen + Fraser were so easy to work with. And considering the size of their wedding party it actually wasn’t that difficult to get everyone where they needed to be. The wedding ceremony and reception was held at The Doctor’s House in Kleinburg. The ceremony was in the cute little chapel. We had no clue how everyone was going to fit on the stage, but they just made it work without any hiccups! This was a testament to how well things were organised!
We also have to give a shout out to the photographer Brittany Williams. We actually worked with Brittany all the way back in 2015! We have stayed in touch and finally got the opportunity to work again with her. It was a long time coming! Working with Brittany and her husband Joey was a nice bonus on the day. It was all just very seamless and the conversation at the vendors table was full on. It’s always such a nice feeling when we show up to film a wedding and know the photographers already.
Thanks guys for trusting us to tell your story. We are sure our paths will cross again at another event in the future!

Katie and Nick have such a sweet story. They were high school sweethearts, and one of my favorite things about their wedding was hearing the funny stories from family and friends about how their relationship began. This whole group was full of laughter, but Katie still got- as she said- weepy while reading Nick's letter to her.
