Epcot World Showcase Is Completely SHUTDOWN because the cultural representative program has been canceled. Disney World's Reopening At EPCOT Theme Park was empty. Disney Parks have reopened in Orlando Florida. We rode tons of rides with zero wait times. Epcot's Food and Wine Festival 2020 was filled with amazing new foods. A Trip To Walt Disney World's EPCOT After Reopening! | Character Interactions, Park Updates & More!

In today’s vlog we finally head back to EPCOT at Walt Disney World! We take a spin around the park and do a normal park update. We check out the construction progress around the park. We also see some characters while we’re walking around, like, Winnie the Pooh, Anna and Elsa too! Then we take a look at the some of International Food & Wine Festival booths and although we didn’t try any food on this trip, we have tried some of these menu items in at past festivals so we added that footage into this vlog to show you what the food looked like and what we thought of it then. We learned that there will be more merchandise and more food items added to the event as the event goes on, which is nice.
We checked out where the relaxation zones were around the park, this is where you can take your mask off and relax for a bit and get out of the Florida heat. We hope you enjoyed this look at Walt Disney’s EPCOT park! Thank you for hanging out with me today and we’ll see you tomorrow with a new vid!

Epcot Missing Major Element as Phased Reopening of Disney World Begins
The phased reopening of Disney World gets underway July 11 with Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, while Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios reopen July 15. During a recent call to returning Cast Members, union leadership revealed that the tens of thousands of Disney College Program (intern) employees who make up the majority of the cultural representative ranks at Epcot ...will not be returning anytime soon.
Epcot missing a major element like the Cast Members from the countries they are working at in world showcase is a huge loss for the experience overall as the phased reopening of Disney World begins. While it is anticipated that Disney College Program and cultural representatives will return next year, Epcot is known as a place where you can have a unique cultural experience, all in one park.
The Kingdom Report team discusses how Epcot missing major elements like cultural representatives during Disney World's phased reopening impacts the experience and how different things might be now that those positions will be filled with regular full-time employees from other Disney World parks and properties.

Disney World's Phased Reopening To Have Pandemic Greeters
Walt Disney World Union Leadership announced last week in a call to returning Disney World Cast Members that in addition to enhanced cleaning and safety measures, attractions Cast Members would be utilized in a pandemic greeter capacity; ensuring that guests are socially distanced and wearing face masks, among other new temporary policies as part of Disney World's phased reopening.
The call also mentioned that Disney World's phased reopening will be calling back all full-time attractions Cast Members by seniority as Epcot will not be hosting Disney College Program participants (who've made up the majority of that workforce) for quite some time.
The Kingdom Report team discusses Disney World's phased reopening to have pandemic greeters and what that additional arm of reinforcing the new temporary policies and procedures will mean. As Disney Springs has already shown with their pandemic greeters, it can be done in a respectful, helpful way.

In recent weeks at Walt Disney World Resort we've seen temporary closures, unfortunate maintenance issues and even sinking Splash Mountain logs, leading us to ask the question: Is Disney World reopening falling apart?
Recent incidents of missing show elements and mechanical problems on Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress and the Gran Fiesta Tour at Epcot, along with prolonged issues with the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover and the Walt Disney World monorail have become increasingly concerning at a place that was once celebrated for its aggressive preventative maintenance.
The Kingdom Report team discusses whether or not the Disney World reopening of theme parks is literally falling apart or if it all just happens to be coincidental timing. As the phased reopening of Disney World has happened, even less attractions have been offered overall due to the global pandemic, which means those Disney World rides that are operating should be in excellent condition.
