Quick review of the Hennessy Expedition hammock. I know there's a ton of other reviews of this hammock but this is the only one by Sammytime99.
Hennessy has a great product, it's asymmetrical design is perfect for a flat and comfortable lay with an underquilt or a sleeping pad. The prepackaged rainfly is not bad. The small rain fly works for 90% of trips. I would recommend purchasing a large rain fly for heavy storms or even a fly with side walls for cold winter camping.

Hennessy Hammock Sarari Deluxe Zip has a side entrance and zipper closure. The Safari was developed for people who like really big hammocks. I think this one is the deepest, widest and most comfortable hammock for larger people or even for cozy couples whose combined weight does not exceed 350 lbs / 160 kg. This model includes a double wide hex shaped fly. Ideal for hunting, car camping, boat camping, out at the cottage or in the back yard.
Hennessy Hammock Safari comes complete with attached mosquito netting, detachable rain fly, support ropes, and stuff sack with set up instructions on back. Hennessy also provides complimentary standard 42? long Tree Hugger webbing straps to protect the bark of trees. They are not counted in the weight of the Hammock.

Field Test: Hennessy Hammock Expedition Asym
The Hennessy Hammock just might be the best thing for backpacking since sliced bread. It has all the amenities of a tent, with the bonus features of a camp chair, shelter, and super-soft sleeping area. It's a snap to set up, and all you need is two trees. And it's lightweight, too--about half the weight of a typical backpacking tent.
In this field test, I'll try out the Hennessy Expedition Asym as a practice run for an overnight in the backcountry. Let me know your experience/thoughts on this hammock in the comments!
