Ich habe eine Woche auf einem kleinen Selbstversorger-Hof in Österreich verbracht und stelle euch hier einen Teil des Hofes vor. Es ist eine super Erfahrung gewesen, die Leute waren über freundlich!
HOW I ENDED UP IN A CULT USING HELPX Blue Mountains Australia -Twelve tribes I Storytime I Na Yan Ka
Here's the story of how my friend and I ended up in a cult using HelpX.
The cult is called the Twelve Tribes, they have communities all over the world ! One of them is located in Katoomba, Blue Mountains, Australia where they own a restaurant/café called the Yellow Deli.
(HelpX is a web site that connects people looking for help with their farm/house/garden etc. and people who want to travel for little money and eager to meet people. It is a great way to travel on a budget since in exchange for the help you get to stay at your host's house, where they'll provide bed and board)
But as usual you never know what you're going to get! Be careful who you trust!
Cults/religious sects are dangerous - Hopefully not teaching you anything here!
They have very elaborated manipulative techniques, and target specific type of personalities. People lacking support from their families, people going through hard times, emotionally weak and they take advantage of that.
Isolating that person, making them give up everything pertaining to their life. Which makes it hard/impossible to eventually leave the cult.

Have you ever wanted to volunteer abroad but don’t know how or where? This guide will show you exactly that. A beautiful volunteering opportunity in Cyprus where we immersed ourselves into life at Cyprus glamping park. To us that is day to day life as we spend most of our time on parks all over the world & we love it!
The hosts were very welcoming and kind in the way they made us so comfortable in a beautifully crafted wooden cottage.
We worked hard on any tasks given to us, while everyday we had deliveries from Paul, featured in this video, of freshly picked oranges and other local fruits.
Time here went by very quickly but we certainly packed in as much as possible with visits to outstanding beaches with the clearest water we have ever seen anywhere.
If you haven't been to Cyprus before and are considering a holiday or a HelpX then drop us a line as we have loads of advice on places to visit and where to eat out.

HelpX Exchange Italy
To break up my travels and stop constantly moving around I decided to do a HelpX 'work' exchange in Puglia, Italy.I ended up extending my homestay with Rosa who is extremely generous, has a lot of love to give and down right crazy (in the best way possible). To say she is an animal lover would be a massive understatement to say the least. This video doesn't even include all the dogs, cats and birds she feeds and cares for using her pension money selflessly. Just in the house alone she has her pet dog Dali, Mitsy the cat with only two working legs who lives on her balcony, four cats on the terrace and her tortoise, of course.
Doing a HelpX/workaway exchange certainly isn't everyone's cup of tea nor many peoples idea of how to spend their time whilst on holiday... but boy oh boy I cannot recommend doing an exchange any higher, honestly, because if you find your Rosa equivalent, well let's just leave it at it's pretty damn special.
