Hello my friends, today's tour is in Heidelberg, one of the most beautiful cities in Germany. is a city in the German state of Baden-Württemberg, situated on the river Neckar in south-west Germany. Today, we will walk through this incredibly beautiful city, we start from the Old Bridge (Alte Brücke) over the Neckar river with the view of the picturesque ensemble of the castle, the Old Town, and the river Neckar surrounded by hills, which inspired the poets and artists of romanticism. Then we enter the old town through the historical gate and walk through its wonderful street and great buildings and churches such as the Church of the Holy Spirit, Haus zum Ritter (House of the Knight), Jesuitenkirche, Schloss Heidelberg and many other great things to see during the virtual tour in Heidelberg. Heidelberg is a large city with 162,273 inhabitants (December 31, 2022) in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The city lies on the Neckar at the point where it leaves the Odenwald and enters the Upper Rhine Graben. The former Electoral Palatinate residence is known for its picturesque old town, its castle ruins and the Ruprecht-Karls-University, which is the oldest university in the territory of today's Germany. The city attracts visitors and scientists from all over the world.
In terms of population, Heidelberg is the fifth largest city in Baden-Württemberg and the 50th largest city in Germany. It is an urban district and at the same time the seat of the surrounding Rhein-Neckar-Kreis. The densely populated Rhine-Neckar region, in which Heidelberg lies together with the cities of Mannheim and Ludwigshafen am Rhein, is known as the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region.

Walking in HEIDELBERG / Germany ????????- 4K 60fps (UHD)
Heidelberg in southwest Germany is known for the Heidelberg University, founded in the 14th century. The city has a nice old town together with a large student population and even a castle.
We start our walk on the Old Bridge and walk towards the old town from there. We see the Heidelberger Marktplatz (old market square) and other squares like the Universitätsplatz with the mensa. We walk the Hauptstraße eastwards and return to the old town to walk up to the castle.
It is a bit of a steep path up to the castle where we end this walk. It is worth going further up to the Schlossgarten where there is a nice view over this town.
