Just a quick update after 2 big storms with hail and high winds. The garage is holding up great so far.

Shelter Logic storage shed. This shed has a wooded floor and is anchored to the ground. It is very windy where I live and it holds up pretty good!

Absolute Steel RV Garage - Installation and Concrete Time-Lapse
Purchased this building from Absolute Steel to fit a 43ft 5th wheel with truck attached along with room for work space and other storage. They use tubular galvanized steel similar to traditional 2x4 stick building. It is 65ft long x 42 wide with 16ft walls and 2:12 roof pitch. Garage doors are 16 wide by 14ft tall. Added radiant barrier insulation and foam seals. Not a paid promotion or endorsement but so far very impressed with this type of building and the minimal build time it took to have it completed.

Here is a hack for repairing a harbor freight portable garage roof with a tarp. All I had to purchase was a new tarp and some nylon rope.
Harbor Freight Water Proof Canvas tarp
Harbor Freight product 93713 is a must have price of prepper/survival kit.
Great as a ground cover, rain cover, emergency poncho and much more.
It is impervious to water.
The canvas surface makes this quieter than most impervious tarps.
The poly coating is food safe making it great for water collection, gathering and food prep.
This poly coated canvas absorbs and contains spills. The polyethylene backing keeps water or other spills from passing through so clean up is a breeze and gear stays dry. Fully reusable, the heavy duty canvas cloth features fully hemmed sides and corners for added durability.

If you are crazy enough to want to repair your destroyed $130 car canopy from Walmart, Harbor Freight, etc. you can try this crazy idea I came up with to fix mine for $14. I'll leave comments open from the start but if I get a bunch of trolls who who question my construction techniques because their ideas a vastly superior and only cost $150 then I will disable them......
