Haiti is a Caribbean country that shares the island of Hispaniola with the Dominican Republic to its east. Though it’s still recovering from a 2010 earthquake, many of Haiti's landmarks dating to the early 19th century remain intact.
These include Citadelle la Ferrière, a mountaintop fortress, and the nearby ruins of Sans-Souci Palace, the baroque former royal home of King Henry I.

Our last 8 days in Haiti were absolutely memorable! We set off to do the most we could in these few days, going to Cap Haitien,Port-Au-Prince/ Furcy, Bassin Bleu, Camp Perrin and Ile A Vache!

I Just Got Banned From North Korea
North Korea is the most isolated and interesting country in the world. I had the chance to visit Pyongyang for 3 nights, 4 days back in April 2017 - and shortly after I left, Americans became banned from visiting. To this day, I think that I'm one of the last dozen Americans to step foot in North Korea, and I'm glad that I'm here to tell the stories. In this video, I share 4 reasons why I will never go back to North Korea.

Diaspora Come Home, Part 1, Port-au-Prince - Haiti Travel Doc
On August, 17, 2016, Emmanuel Altenor made his first journey to Haiti. He took in as many images and experienced as much as he could, and the result of that is this travel doc, Diaspora Come Home. This is Part 1 of three. Part 2 will feature the coastal spot, Leogane.
Emmanuel hopes to inspire other Haitian diaspora to make the trip to Haiti. This will make us more effective in helping the country. The Haitian people are beyond welcoming, but Haiti is an absolutely beautiful country. Please visit.
