HUUUGE Indian Street Food ADVENTURE in Jaipur, India | BEST VEGETARIAN Street Food in India -SPICY!

Traveling for $20 A Day: Delhi, India (The Delhi Belly CHALLENGE)

I'm in Delhi, India's capital region, and today I'll try to eat as much street food as I possibly can to complete the never-before-attempted DELHI BELLY CHALLENGE... Is it possible to eat 1,000 rupees worth of INDIAN STREET FOOD in a single day?!

The food is delicious on the streets, but it's so rich, and often fried. Plus, each dish costs an average of about 30-50 rupees, so it's incredibly difficult to spent that much money in a single day eating exclusively street food, assuming your stomach holds up.

About Me:

My name is Kevin Cook. I'm originally from Dallas, TX, but I've been living and traveling in Asia since 2013.

After graduating from university in 2011 and working a few unfulfilling jobs, I saved enough money to move to Asia and work as a teacher for a few years. That opportunity allowed me to travel around and experience new foods and cultures, and ignited a passion for blogging and making videos.

Now I travel full-time and make videos with the goal that I can encourage YOU to pursue your own dream of overseas traveling and living.

Everything You Should Know about Traveling India in 2024 | India Travel Guide

This video is about our first impressions of India 2024. We have visited over 90 countries, but nothing quite compares to travel in India, which is a large, beautiful and diverse place, along with being the most populous country in the world. We found it is a country with some of the most friendly and kind people we have met during our world travels.

We will discuss the cities we visited in our first time in India vlog. We will also discuss some of our lodging, Indian cuisine, transportation, culture, language and much more.

We started our adventure in Delhi, where we explored Old Delhi, visited India Gate, walked through parks and rode tuk-tuks to see the sights. Next we traveled to Agra to see the one and only Taj Mahal. This is a magical place that should make everyone's bucket list of destinations. We completed the Golden Triangle by visiting the forts and palaces of Jaipur, while joining some expats for a traditional thali meal. The Golden triangle did not disappoint.

We then flew to Udaipur and witnessed a Hindi celebration and visited the beautiful City Palace. Udaipur is a beautiful city with many lakes and palaces. We sat on the roof of our hotel and watched fireworks, kite flying, monkeys and more.

Next up was the city of Mumbai. We had a great guide for a tour of the city which included the Leopold Cafe, Dhobi Ghat, the Gateway of India, the Hanging Gardens, and much more. John even joined the locals for some cricket on the beach at sunset. PS. John needs lots of practice before becoming a professional on the cricket tour. ????

The last stop in India was probably our favorite. Kochi, located in the state of Kerala, which is in the far southwestern part of India. It is a tropical setting, filled with palm trees and much warmer weather. We enjoyed a backwaters boat tour at sunrise one morning and saw so many different birds and Chinese fishing nets. It was such a contrast to the hustle and bustle of the big cities of Delhi and Mumbai. We also explored the Fort Kochi area by foot and by tuk-tuk, saw a traditional Kathakali performance and ate more wonderful Indian food.

Some other facts about India:

2. About 40% of the population is vegetarian

4. India is the world's 3rd largest economy

Avoid Delhi! Come here instead ????????

Delhi, the capital city of India, has been grappling with significant waste pollution issues. Waste pollution in Delhi is a multifaceted problem encompassing various types of waste, including solid waste, electronic waste, and hazardous waste. In this video, I visited the trash mountain in Delhi and see what life is like in the landfill, I've also visited the residential area besides the landfill and met up with some of the friendly locals. I then packed my bags to visit the northern Indian state of Rishikesh where, together with @willpalmeer, we've enjoyed various activities at the Ganges River. Whether you're interested in escaping the chaos of the city, adventure, or simply seeking a tranquil getaway, Rishikesh offers a diverse range of experiences!

In this video, I share with you my first impressions of Jodhpur India. My friend Rahul and I start out by heading down to the center near the clock tower before joining in for getting a juice made by a local shop owner. After this, we strolled through the streets to find a delicious place to eat next to one of Jodhpur's most significant sites. 21 Things To Do In Delhi, India (नई दिल्ली)

For many more things to do in Delhi, where to stay, and delicious food to eat, check out my Delhi Travel Guide: (click the link)!

Delhi, India, (नई दिल्ली) is the national capital of the country and has a metropolitan population of around 22 million residents. The city is ancient, it's been around since the 6th century BC so there are many historical and cultural places to visit. That's specifically why I created this list of 21 things to do in Delhi, to help you plan and get excited about visiting Delhi, India.
1. The Lotus Temple (Bahá'í House of Worship) - The temple is in the shape of a giant lotus and on the inside is a peaceful sanctuary where you can enter and sit in silence for as long as you like.
2. ISKCON Hare Krishna Temple - I had never seen a temple like this before, so it as an interesting experience to hear the music and walk around the interior of the temple.
3. Kalkaji Mandir Hindu Temple - This temple is a very important Hindu temple in Delhi and while I was there, there were a number of babies being dedicated by being decorated and blessed.
4. Jama Masjid - Located in Old Delhi, Jama Masjid is the largest mosque in all of Delhi. Though they will attempt to get money from you, it's free to enter the mosque, but if you want to take photos inside they will charge you 300 rupees.
5. Akshardham Temple - This modern Hindu temple located on the outskirts of Delhi literally made my jaw drop, it's that amazing. It's free to enter, but unfortunately, they don't allow any photography inside. This is one of the things to do in Delhi that you cannot afford to miss!
6. Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (Sikh Temple) - Unlike some other sites in Delhi where you'll find many touts and hustlers, the Gurdwara Sikh Temple is about the nicest and most friendly place you can go in Delhi. People are extremely nice and you can enter the temple to listen to music.
7. Laxmi Narayan Mandir -- Dedicated by Mahatma Gandhi, this is one of the most significant Hindu temples in Delhi.
8. Hauz Khas Complex - I'm always amazed at the history of Delhi and Hauz Khas is an excellent example of ancient monuments in the middle of a public park.
9. Lodi Gardens - As a free entrance public park, visiting the Lodi Gardens is one of the most amazing things to do in Delhi. It's just like an ordinary park, but it's filled with thousand year old tombs and monuments that are truly inspirational.
10. India Gate - The war memorial is one of the landmarks of Delhi and resembles the famous Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
11. Jantar Mantar - The Jantar Mantar complex is a compound that houses 13 different astronomy instruments. The structures are confusing to look at, but if you read or follow a guide (or audio guide) you'll understand how each instrument functioned.
12. Qutub Minar - Just like Akshardham Temple, Qutub Minar is one of the top things to do in Delhi, it's truly remarkable. The minaret is the main attraction, a huge pillar of red carved sandstone that towers above the ancient ruins in the complex.
13. Humayun's Tomb - One of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Delhi is Humayun's Tomb, built in Mughal Islamic architecture.
14. Tomb of Safdarjung - Very similar to Humayun's tomb is the tomb of Safdarjung. What I really liked is that there were no other tourists the day I went so it was quite and peaceful.
15. Red Fort - Located near Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi is the Red Fort. It's an entire walled in city where you can walk around the browse the many buildings within the walls.
16. Raj Ghat - The Raj Ghat is a memorial park dedicated to Gandhi.
17. Chandni Chowk & Chawri Bazar - The liveliest and busiest area of Delhi is Chandni Chowk and Chawri Bazar. I think it's possible to purchase anything from the entire world in this area, and you'll also find lots of delicious food.
18. Dilli Haat - This handicraft village was set up by the Delhi tourism authority and it's a decent place to purchase souvenirs or high quality crafts. You'll also find a food court that contains canteens serving food from all over India.

So i couldnt resist and just in the evening i went to this places which was almost 13 kms from the hostel i was staying. The place seemed to be ok ok types from outside. They serve Aloo Tikki and some other Chat items. Their was a counter outside.
So then i went inside the restaurant. Interior was ok ok types. I could see this Big Huge Thalis Serving Worlds Largest Biggest Parantha. My mouth had almost water in it. I could see in menu almost 80 differnet types of Paranthas they had in their menu. i ran to shop owner and started my questions . My First question i asked him that how big is this parantha ? If someone completes this what you give them ? How many paranthas of this big size you sell.

The Shop owner answered me Almost we sell 15 Big paranthas everyday. The Cost of Parantha was Rs. 500 and can be shared with 6 people. The Table which completed this Big Parantha will be gifted Rs. 11000 and free Parantha for life time. He added till date from the day we opened last year no one has finished Parantha.

I had Paneer Parantha with group of friends and i really loved tasting it . The restaurant also has roof top where you can sit with your family and enjoy evening time dinner.
