Novelties from LVMH Watch Week – Dubai 2020
LVMH Maisons Bvlgari, TAG Heuer, Hublot and Zenith hosted the first edition of LVMH Watch Week from January 13-15 in Dubai, an international hub with convenient access from around the globe.
For the first time ever, the LVMH Group decided to organize an exclusive event of its own, four LVMH watchmaking Maisons teamed together to launch their novelties and plans – Bvlgari’s smallest ever tourbillon designed for ladies watches, Hublot’s first Big Bang with an integrated metal bracelet, Zenith’s coming back into the women’s watches and TAG Heuer’s upcoming event of the year.

Loic Biver is the son of Mr. Jean-Claude Biver, president of LVMH watch division and chairman of Hublot, one of very few names that have left a mark in the history of watchmaking industry. Not surprisingly, Loic inherited the passion for watchmaking from his father.
In 2005, he graduated from the renowned HEC Paris and decided to study in Renmin University of China. In 2007, he moved to Hong Kong and joined Swiss Prestige, one of the major retailers of Swiss watches in Asia. He was then made the brand manager of Hublot Hong Kong in his fourth year there.
In 2011, Loic moved to Shanghai and was appointed as the director of Hublot China as part of LVMH group. 3 years later, he took the role as the general manager of Hublot Greater China. With his entrepreneurial flair and extraordinary leadership, Hublot has grown with great momentum and made incredible achievements since its first boutique was opened in Shanghai in 2009.

Seth Lim is the CEO and founder of Soar Labs and cryptocurrency exchange soarexchange.io. He oversees the strategy and plan for Soarcoin’s growth and drives the passion and process behind the scenes at Soar Labs. He became part of the Cryptocurrency community back in 2011 with his first purchases of Bitcoin and began building his cryptocurrency portfolio. In 2016, he was managing a $80m private funds from investors in China and Dubai to invest in Ethereum,Litecoin, Ripple and Dogecoin. He was also one of the pioneer in China for promoting the adoption of Ripple Gateway when Ripple was unknown to the market.

Seth is also a Lecturer in China third rank top University Shanghai Jiao Tong Antai School of Economics and Management for Executive Education Blockchain course and currently holds the record of being appointed as the youngest lecturer at age 27.
