Undercover in India's Most Notorious Black Market (I Got Caught!)
I got caught filming undercover in India's most notorious black market - Heera Panna Bazaar in Mumbai. The market is famous for the sale of counterfeit luxury designer goods including handbags, watches, shoes, sunglasses, perfume, and shoes. You'll find all world's biggest designer brands there like Gucci, Rolex, Dolce & Gabbana, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Christian Dior, and more.
Heera Panna Shopping Centre (हीरा पन्ना शॉपिंग सेंटर) actually started out as India's first Grey Market where Indians could buy luxury and premium goods that weren't yet available in India. Everyone, including Bollywood celebrities, used to shop there. But the market has suffered due to brands opening stores in India, and online retail. Now it's transformed in a counterfeit designer goods market.
Every few years it's raided by various Indian authorities. But despite that it continues to operate openly. They even have spotters located at the doors to spot for Police or cameras - I found that out first hand and had to quickly leave!

I left India to go travel Dubai and Pakistan in October 2020 and upon leaving they cancelled my visa at the airport. They wouldn't tell me why. So in Dubai I applied for a new visa. They called me in for a meeting and told me I had been blacklisted and therefore they couldn't issue me a visa to go home.
Before someone is added to the Blacklist they're meant to be given the reason, and time to reply. I wasn’t.

Saving My Grandma from Scammers
I arrived at my Grandmother's house to find a scammer calling her! I took the phone off her and dealt with him. After that, you'll hear from my Grandma talk about her experiences being scammed before by tech support scammers.
Previously she had been scammed for $619 / ₹33,000 by scammers scaring her into thinking her computer was comprised by hackers. She's also received calls from scammers saying that her internet connection was about to be terminated and another time threatened that if she didn't pay the Police would be called.
Her phone number is clearly on a scammer's list and being sold around to different scam call centres.
Please educate your elders about scam calls ????.
Also, the call was definitely not from Wellington. I got in touch with the phone provider who owned that number and they said the call came from offshore.

I got scammed in the most beautiful place in the world to be scammed by an Indian scammer on a boat! Is this guy the world's first pirate scammer? I kid you not. This scammers scam was to sell fake saffron to people.
Fake Saffron is a being sold across India by scammers at incredibly cheap rates! So I went out to find a scammer in the Indian state where saffron is grown, Jammu & Kashmir, and show you how to identify real and fake saffron.
I found this scammer selling fake saffron on the stunning Dal Lake in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. Jammu & Kashmir state is one of the highest producers of saffron in the world. He was selling it at ₹90 when the wholesale price is ₹180 and retail price is ₹250 per gram. I'll explain the 3 main tests to identify real saffron: smell, taste, and water.

I show you how to arrive at an Indian airport for the first time, how to get a SIM card, and how to avoid scammers and get to your hotel safely.

We start as I land at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, India. I landed at 2AM in the morning after a long 19-hour journey from my home of New Zealand. I've arrived at the Delhi International Airport countless times, same with Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.
The first step after you exit the plane is to head to Immigration where they'll check you have the correct VISA. Some travellers to India can get a VISA on Arrival and others will need to get their VISA in advance from their country of residence. Then I go through Duty-Free Shopping, pick up my bags, then finally through Indian Customs.
After this, I show you how to get an Indian SIM card in India at the airport. Then I show you how to get to your hotel safely from the airport with Uber or the Pre-Paid Taxi Stand outside the airport.
While we travel throughout the New Delhi International Airport, I give you the history behind the famous name, Indira Gandhi, that the airport is named after.

True enough, Mayor Daley cited safety reasons as the need to exercise dictatorial powers to destroy the field. Most folks exercising an abuse of power will cite public safety as their need to exercise such power

Some corrections from Benjamin:
1. In my first discussion about cashless bail, I accidentally state “convicted” instead of “arrested.” I state that correctly later in the recording. Simple mix-up.
2. Similarly, I sometimes say “Spot Shotter” instead of “Shot Spotter” as a simple conversational mistake.
3. Apparently, I was slightly off on property taxes, as Illinois (2.05 percent) is the second worst in the nation just under New Jersey (2.21 percent).
4. Several commenters were “shocked” or “surprised” I didn’t mention x person or y story. There’s only so much time and space to discuss many examples of corruption.
5. Several old school Chicagoans complained I pronounced Pulaski incorrectly. I employ ordinary English pronounced in an ordinary accent when speaking.
