Hi! We grew up on opposite ends of the United States in Texas and Ohio. Later in college, we met and got married in August of 2016. As poor newly weds and recent college grads, we moved to New York City to begin what we thought would be our long careers in finance. Only one year later, after accumulating over 2 million miles and points through travel hacking, we booked round-the-world business class tickets to over 40 countries for free. We quit our jobs, sold everything we owned, and began this once-in-a-lifetime adventure on August 27, 2018. Chad has always loved creating home videos to hold onto the memories we share while traveling, so we started this YouTube channel as a place to share our adventures with friends and family. We hope you'll join our journey to exciting countries and experiences around the world!

First Time in Fiji ???????? FIJIAN STREET FOOD - Taro Leaves, Fish Kokoda + Market Tour!

???????? The Ultimate Fiji Food Tour!
???? T-shirts:
???? Ghost Chili:

NAUSORI, FIJI - Welcome to the beautiful islands of Fiji and today we’re on the main island and going on an ultimate Fijian food tour. Get ready for some of the tastiest local food in all of Fiji!

First of all, a huge thank you to my friend Andhy Blake, he’s a TV host and Fijian producer who loves to eat and who arranged our entire trip to Fiji. Check him out

Here’s all the places we visited on this ultimate Fijian food tour:

1. Nausori Market, Nausori, Fiji (
We first walked around the main Nausori Market for a taste of all the local ingredients. We stopped to eat at Tee Totoka for their famous tea buns. And Finally met with Sera, who owns the greatest seafood stall at the market selling Kovu Kaikoso - Sea Clams in Coconut Milk!

2. Elvis Kana Place, Nausori, Fiji (
One of the most delicious of all Fijian foods is rourou with mutton, raro leaves with mutton, and it was an honor to see the full cooking process before eating it.

3. Namuka Village, Fiji - Continuing our tour, we visited a village just outside Nausori that’s famous for making vakalolo - a cassava coconut dessert.

4: Mokani Village, Fiji - Something else you have to try when you visit Fiji is called bila - fermented cassava bread, and no one does it better than here.

5: The Bar Belle, Suva, Fiji (
The food tour isn’t over, we drove on to Suva, the largest city in Fiji to eat at The Bar Belle, a laid back restaurant serving local Fijian seafood.

6: Tasty BBQ, Nausori, Fiji - This Fijian food tour wouldn’t be complete with some Fijian street food, and I’m talking about Fijian BBQ that includes lamb chops and sausage!

We had an incredible time visiting Fiji and I can’t wait to share more delicious and unseen food with you coming up in more videos in this series.

Fijian Food on a 7 Night Cruise Ship!! ???? ALL YOU CAN EAT Buffet on a Boat in Fiji!

???????? The Ultimate Fiji Food Tour:
???? T-shirts:
???? Ghost Chili:

FIJI - We’re on a cruise with Captain Cook Cruises to Fiji’s remote Lau Islands. Along with scenery, one of the best reasons to go on a cruise is for the food, so today I’m showing you a few of the delicious meals!

Thank you to Captain Cook Cruises ( for the incredible hospitality on this trip of a lifetime - highly recommended!

1. Tivua Island, Fiji
For our first meal we met with Head Chef Jackson from Captain Cook Cruises and we took a small boat to a private island. Unfortunately it was a little windy and rainy, but that didn’t stop us from having a local Fijian meal including Kokoda - raw fish in lime and coconut milk.

2, Indian Food Buffet
The next day we sailed to Makogai Island known for its history and colony. But on the cruise it also happened to be Indian buffet day.

3. Staff Meal
Not only do all the guests on Captain Cook Cruises eat well but so do the staff. One day I was invited to eat the staff meal on a day they ate a dish called Sui, which literally translates to Meaty Bones.

We ate a lot of food on Captain Cook Cruises, from morning to night, buffets and a la carte. It was an incredible experience.

A huge thank you to my friend Andhy Blake for arranging my trip to Fiji:

Huge Coconut Crab!! ???? (UNLIKE Any Other Crab on Earth!!) South Pacific Islands

???????? The Ultimate Fiji Food Tour:
???? T-shirts:
???? Ghost Chili:

LAU ISLANDS, FIJI - We’re in the remote Lau Islands group in Fiji, only accessible by boat, and today we’re going to Vuaqava Island, where they are known for their coconut crabs!

First of all, thank you to my friend Andhy Blake for arranging my trip to Fiji: and to Captain Cook Cruises ( for taking us on this once in a lifetime Fiji cruise.

We docked near the uninhabited Vuaqava Island, Lau Islands, Fiji, which is known for its natural beauty, incredible seas, and also for being an island full of coconut crabs! Coconut crabs are definitely unique, and they are a huge delicacy in Fiji and for the local population on the Lau Islands. They all mentioned that they coconut crabs are so tasty and so delicious that they don’t need any extra seasoning or cooking - all you have to do is boil them for about 10 - 15 minutes and eat. The crabs eat mostly a diet of coconut, so they have a sweet coconut taste to them, and the fat in the stomach (similar to the tomalley on other crabs), is like a natural coconut crab pudding with a complexity of flavor. It was an amazing experience to be with local Fijians on a remote island eating coconut crab.

Next up on this Fijian crab tour we visited another island - Totoya Island, Lau Islands, Fiji where we had the honor to cook and eat another Fijian food delicacy of land crabs, cooked in coconut milk. The crabs were boiled then fully deshelled, then mixed with onions and chiles, and lots of coconut milk, and re-filled back into their shells. They were boiled again until the coconut milk thickened into a creamy crab sauce. You eat them with a fresh squeeze of local lime and chili, and it’s something truly magically delicious.

What a day of Fijian food and the freshest crabs from the source!

PORT OF SPAIN, TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO - Welcome to Port of Spain, the Capital of Trinidad and Tobago islands in the Caribbean! I’m so excited to finally be here. So many of you have written to me over the years inviting me to visit for the amazing food and culture, so it’s really an honor to finally be here and to explore the incredible food. Let’s get started eating, we’re jumping straight into a massive 20 hour day of eating local street food!

Huge thank you to #visitTrinidad for inviting me to Trinidad and Tobago and for making this trip happen!

Friends in the video:
Zaak (Foodie Tales with Zaak):
Baidawi (Eatahfood):
David (D’Market Movers):
Brent (Hungry Belly 868):

And here’s everything we did in the video, and all the food we ate:

Central Market - We started off today at the Central Market in Port of Spain, bright and early in the morning before 7 am. And with Baidawi and David, who go to the market every weekend to do their shopping and have breakfast, we were in the right hands. After exploring the market and the amazing produce and ingredients that go into food in Trinidad and Tobago we then headed to the food court for some local fish broth and cow heel soup.

EatAhFood - Baidawi makes fantastic food videos, especially recipes, and so we bought ingredients and headed back to his house to cook Callaloo, an Afro Caribbean food of simmered down taro leaves and pumpkin and coconut milk. It was so good!

Roti - One of the greatest of all Trinidadian foods is roti - different from anywhere else. The rotis are huge and fresh and then stuffed with pumpkin, potato, and curry of your choice. An afternoon bulging roti with Zaak, was absolutely delicious.

Queens Park Savannah - Port of Spain - To continue on with this street food tour in Trinidad and Tobago, we went to Queens Park Savannah for a coconut and then continued on to the evening street food market to sample a bunch of different local foods - everything from doubles to pholourie and roast fish.

Yousef Gyro ( - Trinidad and Tobago is so diverse and there’s even a local Middle Eastern population including Yousef Gyro, owned by descendants of Syrian immigrants. They make all sorts of wraps and gyros and combinations you won’t find anywhere else. This is the ultimate late night food in Trinidad!

Dass Doubles Factory ( - We did have a quick doubles at the street food night market, but we went to Dass Doubles Factory for the real deal late night doubles. They made the barras fresh and load them up with heavy peppa sauce and delicious curry chickpeas.

Hadco Phase II Pan Groove Orchestra Pan Yard ( - Finally to complete this day we were treated to a panyard lime to see the ultimate instrument of Trinidad and Tobago - steel pan! It was so cool to see and an amazing way to wrap up this ultimate street food tour - and they have delicious food!

Again, thank you to everyone who made this video possible and to #visitTrinidad!

WELCOME TO FIJI !!! ???????????? FUN, FOOD & ADVENTURE in Nadi Coral Coast Fiji | 197 Countries, 3 Kids

Welcome to Fiji!

Our first morning on the Viti Levu island put some things into perspective. It was hot, it was humid, and everyone was saying Bula!, which made us realize we had really left New Zealand.

For breakfast, we decided on some Muesli and milk, which also tasted different. I guess we were experiencing our first culture shock in 2 years.

But, honestly, it wasn’t bad. Far from it. We were in a tropical paradise, surrounded by turquoise waters, jungle-like vegetation, and super friendly people.

Before lunch, we visited the local market accompanied by the lovely Home Exchange caretaker, Punam. We got some fresh produce and then headed towards the store to get the rest of the ingredients we needed for the lunch Punam was going to prepare for us.

Punam, who is of Indian descent, taught us how to cook a very delicious curry and traditional roti (Indian flatbread). Fijians really take hospitality to the next level!

You know, we always like to learn at least a few words in the native language of the country we are visiting. That’s why we partnered up with Lingopie - a unique platform with a revolutionary approach to how we learn languages.

For those of you interested in learning a new language in a fun, new way, follow this link ???? and get 65% OFF Lingopie!
Back to our day, which was far from over, and it was now time to dip our toes in the warm Pacific Ocean waters and soak up the sun.

After we freshened up, we continued our tour along the coast and stopped at a local store to do a little souvenir shopping.

Day 3 started early for us because we had to get ready to visit a local village and the famous Biausevu Waterfall. There were a few options on how to reach the waterfall, but we decided to walk with a guide since it was only 2km.

Just walking there was so exciting. Imagine meeting foreigners in the middle of the jungle on a super hot day! So worth it, especially because the sight was amazing. We took a swim, and the girls even jumped off of the waterfall.

Back in the village, we got some jewelry and souvenirs handmade by the locals and continued on to our next adventure.

We wanted to try kayaking, and thanks to Avis Car Rentals, we were in the water in no time. If you ever come to Fiji, we highly suggest you rent a car at Avis. This is where you can find them ????

Tired but very happy, we returned to our Home Exchange to do some school work at the Crimson Global Academy. To find out more about the CGA program, follow this link ????

Stay tuned, and be sure to follow and subscribe for more interesting videos from our adventures around the world.

Big thank you to #visitTrinidad and Visit Tobago ( for inviting me to Trinidad and Tobago and for making this trip happen! Guide to the things and food in this video:

Breakfast with Carion - We’re beginning in Les Coteaux, Tobago, a small town in the mountains that’s known for preserving its tradition and cultural heritage. Carion and her family are preparing an amazing local breakfast of coconut bake, saltfish, and cocoa tea. Seeing the process and being able to hang out and eat was extremely memorable. Uncle’s singing and drumming was also a highlight.

Chef Danielle - Next up on this Creole food tour in Tobago we met Chef Danielle, from Frontline Flavours who specializes in preserving authentic Creole cuisine of Tobago. She cooked a pot of curry fish, callaloo, and cornmeal. The food was outstanding, so fresh and so flavorful.

Tom Tom’s - Tobago is also very well known for their sweets, and learned about a few of the local sweets including beni balls and coconut fudge - one of the local favorites.

Seahorse Inn Restaurant ( - Finally to wrap up this day for food we headed to Black Rock and ate at Seahorse Inn Restaurant, one of the well known restaurants.

Sunday School - Buccoo, Tobago - Lastly, we headed to Sunday School for some live steel pan music!

It was another outstanding and memorable day on the beautiful island of Tobago!

Beautiful Biryani in Pokhara, Nepal ????????

Beautiful biryani served by a beautiful waitress. What could be better?

Nausori Town, Fiji

With my intention to visit and explore every major town in Fiji, I found myself in Nausori, regarded as the gateway to the capital, Suva. I had wanted to visit the market but the heat and humidity and the strong likelihood of rain meant I would have to leave that for another day. There are many sides to Nausori not least of which is the old town situated, so I've been led to believe, around 5 km north of the current one with crumbling relics of the colonial past. I'll visit it on another occasion.

Bhula

Fiji is 2 main islands and 302 little islands today we gonna visit danerau Island which is one of the best and tourist friendly islands

Welcome to Fiji Islands

This is our day 2 in Fiji Lautoka Belo vula resort. Our morning started with watching underwater fishes Seawater was crystal clear and made easy to watch sea life.

And after that, we went to the main island of Lautoka to rent a car to explore Nadi city and Denarau island, in denarau island we went to Denarau port so that we can book our Fiji village cultural tour Robinson Crusoe island where we got a fantastic deal of culture island day tour. Just After booking the tour, we had our most recommended crab lunch at Indigo Indian restaurant Denarau port. It was our first time had crab which we loved a lot they have good selection of indian dishes which we enjoyed a lot followed by beautiful drive from Denarau island to the garden of the Sleeping giant with the help of local Fijian people as we lost our way to the garden of the sleeping giant. I got astonished when I saw Fijian girls speaking and talking to us in the Hindi language. They both were so friendly and took us to their village home that was so raw life I loved Fijian village and they introduce us to their family members. we left the place with lots of beautiful memories and made lifetime friends.

the sleeping giant ticket was for $50 and with zipline $100, it opens until 5 pm sleeping giant has an orchid garden which is highly recommended by the local Fijian people.

the at night we returned to the Belo vula island and relaxed with some Fijian local beer Fiji bitter and fiji gold with Fijian style Indian fish curry and enjoyed the sunset.
