Why people don't like hammocks

Before I transitioned from the tent to now using a hammock. A few years back. At the beginning of my journey of learning everything about hammocks. Not only did I struggle to set it up. But also being able to get comfortable in it.
Now fast forward to today. If I had a choice between a tent or a hammock. I will always choose the hammock. I could of in those early days abandoned it. But I definitely saw the potential of using a hammock. What changed from then to now was overcoming all of those mistakes. I find that people who do not like using the hammock. Are making the same mistakes I made back then.
In this episode. We are going to look at those mistakes. Not only for those who do not like hammocks. But also for those starting out. who may be struggling?

3 big mistakes people often make with winter boots

One of the biggest problems people will often face during the wintertime. Is that their feet getting cold. When temperatures start falling. A lot of people will forgo the many activities in the great outdoors. Because of this problem. They will sit indoors. Waiting patiently for warmer weather to come.
Those days are over. I am going to share with you 3 tips that are going to greatly increase the warmth to your feet. So you can set back into the great outdoors. And also an extra tip.

3 things I no longer bring on multi day hikes and what I bring instead (part 2)

Is a hammock tent worth it? Haven Tent review #campinggear

Pros vs cons of hammock camping ⤵️

I have the Heven tent with the ultralight rainfly. Opinions are my own. Not spon.

PROS
• Lays flat and comes with an extra wide insulated sleeping pad (4 R value)
• Great for side sleepers and I assume anyone with knee or back pain who can’t crawl into a tent
• It's relatively affordable for a sleep system at $315 USD (tent+pad)
• Rain tarp is highly adjustable and can close from inside the hammock if the weather takes a turn
• If there's no trees around you can pitch it on the ground as a Bivy using trekking poles or sticks

CONSiderations
• Can't fit large dogs (sorry Kyro)
• It is 6 lbs 8oz (which is a pound or 2 heavier than my backpacking sleep system setup
• You can keep your bag inside but it was more comfortable outside under the tarp
•Works best with included mattress, the Nemo insulated tensor sleeping pad I have didn’t work because the sides caved in
• Make sure your head side is hung higher than the feet side and your butt is in the middle so your not slanted downwards
