The Best Fish and Chips Recipe with Cesar, Gordon Ramsay's Head Chef | Atlantis, The Palm

Make this Atlantis Culinary Month the Traditional British Fish and Chips like head chef of Bread Street Kitchen Dubai, Cesar Bartolini!????????

Step 1: Prepare the Potato chips
• Cut potatoes in half and then into 4 smaller chunks.
• Put in a pot of water and roughen up to allow water to penetrate.
• Boil in salted water for 10-12 minutes until soft
• Put into fryer on 140 for 10-12 minutes.
• Take aside.

• Fry for another 3-4 minutes right before serving.
• Drain excess oil and season with salt.

Step 2: Prepare the Tartare Sauce
• Combine all ingredients. Keep in the fridge till serving time.

Step 3: Prepare the pea puree
• Defrost green peas.
• Pulse all the ingredients in a blender until desired consistency.

Step 4: Prepare the batter
• Combine all the dry ingredients.
• Add slowly non-alcoholic beer and sparkling water mixing gently with a spoon until combined.
• Keep the batter in the fridge till it is time to use.

Step 5: Prepare the Codfish
• Portion codfish into 160/180grams fillets,
• Salt on both sides
• Pat seasoned flour both sides to coat it
• Dip the fish into the batter to coat it nicely, remove the excess of batter
• Deep fry for 6-7 minutes in hot oil at 180 degrees.

Plate it up!

Chips:
2 large potatoes

Ingredients for 4 portions:
720gr. Codfish fillet

Batter:
600gr. rice flour
500gr. plain flour
90gr. baking powder
660ml no alcoholic beer
750ml sparkling water

Tartare Sauce:
100gr. diced pickled gherkins
70gr. diced shallots
30gr. chopped capers
10gr. chopped dill
20gr. chopped parsley
150gr. thick mayonnaise
10ml Worcestershire sauce
10ml liquid from pickled gherkins
Zest and juice from ½ lemon

Pea puree:
200gr. frozen green peas
10gr. fresh mint
½ tsp sugar
¼ tsp salt

Gordon Ramsay Fish and Chips - Las Vegas

I made it twice to Gordon Ramsay Fish and Chips (hence the two different views of me), Las Vegas and here I am having a great time. The shop is located on The Strip in the LINQ.

The price is $16 for the combo containing Fish and Chips along with a beverage. It's probably the cheapest Gordon Ramsay restaurant in Las Vegas and you get three pieces of Atlantic Cod along with a bunch of fries. I spoke with a staff member and she informed me that the cod is flown in fresh daily. ????????????????????

The first time I went, the fries were oversalted and the second time, I ordered without salt. There are packets of salt you can grab to salt to your taste.

I think the inside of the place seats just under 20 and the outside may seat 10 or so. The place is popular and the service is quick. If you're in the area and you want to give one of Ramsay's restaurants a whirl, stop by and enjoy the crunch of the batter. Oh, they sell a few other items but I didn't order, so I can't comment. In this Thai recipe video I had the pleasure of hanging out with Pai from Hot Thai Kitchen - she’s a chef, a food lover, and she also makes awesome videos on YouTube - especially Thai recipes. We decided to cook one of both of our favorite Thai seafood dishes, in Thai called pla kapong neung manao (ปลากะพงนึ่งมะนาว), and in English a steamed barramundi fish (also called Asian sea bass), with lime sauce, garlic, and chilies. It’s actually quite easy to make this, it just takes a fresh fish and a few other common ingredients. It’s simple and delicious.

Join us in the Bangkok street food kitchen for an amazing recipe, and a dish that’s sure to be a stunner! Here are the ingredients you’ll need:

1 whole barramundi, about 1 - 2 kilos (or whatever size you can get) - you could also use a smaller fish if you’d like, or a different kind of fish
5 stalks of lemongrass
1 cup chicken stock or fish stock for the sauce
2 Tbsp finely chopped palm sugar
8 Tbsp lime juice
6 Tbsp fish sauce
2 head garlic, chopped
Thai chilies, to taste, finely chopped
20 - 25 sprigs cilantro, chopped
1- 2 stalks Chinese celery, cut into 1-inch pieces

Geranium is located in Copenhagen, but not where you might expect a 3-Michelin star restaurant to be. It’s not on the high street, it’s not in a trendy neighbourhood, nor a 5 star hotel. It’s actually in a football stadium!

The genius in the kitchen is head chef Rasmus Kofoed. His name is now undoubtedly synonymous with Scandinavian top gastronomy. The 48-year-old Danish chef is the first and only chef in the world to have stood on the podium of the world's most prestigious cooking competition three times, winning the iconic Bocuse d'Or statuette in bronze (2005), silver (2007) and gold (2011).

The three statues still have a prominent place in the world's best restaurant, Geranium. With 3 Michelin stars, Rasmus Kofoed's restaurant not only entered the gastronomic elite in 2016, but it was also named the world's very best restaurant on the list of The World's 50 Best Restaurants last year.

In today's video, we decided to head over to ICON park, located on International Drive (I-Drive) in Orlando, Florida and try a new restaurant that they put in. Not only are we excited for a new restaurant but it is a Gordon Ramsay restaurant! We finally got one in Florida. We have been watching a lot of Gordon Ramsay lately, so we were excited to see how his standards are in a restaurant. Well, he did not disappoint! It was some of the best fish and chips we have had. Plus, the milk shake was amazing. We got the fish combo, which was Cod and two sauces and Chips. The sauces we chose were Gordon's Tartar and Curry & Mango. Next, we got the Dirty Chips #2. For a dessert, we got the
Sticky Toffee Shake. All of it was excellent, there was plenty to share, and it is worth going to and giving it a try! Overall, if you are at ICON Park and looking for a place to eat, try Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips!

Gordon Ramsay is one of the best chef at present. He is also TV program host.
It is a good news for Gordon ramsay fans in vegas.
Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips opened in Las Vegas in October.
Celebrity chef and television host Gordon Ramsay cuts the ribbon to open his latest Las Vegas eatery.
The eatery is the newest addition to The LINQ Promenade, a pedestrian passageway connecting the Strip with the High Roller observation wheel.
The restaurant is a modern take on the traditional takeout chip shops of the British Isles.
The décor is a nod to British tradition, where fish and chips were often served wrapped in newspaper.
This is the simplest of Ramsay’s four Las Vegas restaurants, a traditional takeaway shop serving British-style fish and chips that you order at the counter.
The menu is streamlined and simple.
You order at the back register and all the food is cooked in the open kitchen behind the counter.
The entire kitchen is open and on display, with mainly fryers where the food is cooked and put into Union Jack takeout boxes.
For his flagship combo meal, Ramsay uses only true Alaskan cod, fish that is both sustainable and delicious.
There are two options for the Alaskan cod filets: traditional fish and chips or a fishwich sandwich and chips.
In addition to the classic fish and chips, the restaurant offers three protein combos: shrimp, chicken and sausage.
The sausage and chips combo features a duo of custom-made, Italian-style sausages studded with Fontina cheese like gourmet corn dogs.
The sausage and chips combo is a nod to English bangers and mash.
There are three styles of coated Dirty Fries: chipotle, jalapeno and crispy chorizo; Cacciatore spice with fresh basil; and truffle, parmesan and chive.
This is chipotle, jalapeno and crispy chorizo fries with Sriracha aioli and curry mango sauces.
The off-menu special for those in the know is the G Spot: a combo of cod, shrimp and chicken with chips (shown with ketchup and Ramsay’ signature tartar sauce).
The fishwich comprises two fried cod filets in a pita with malt vinegar-flavored cole slaw, tomato, arugula and shishito peppers.
In addition to soda, combos can include one of the house-made specialty lemonades, like this Orange Vanilla.
The signature beverages include (left to right) Orange Vanilla lemonade, toffee milkshake, sticky toffee pudding milkshake and Peach Ginger lemonade.
The sticky toffee pudding shake is a Gordon Ramsay standby.
Specialty lemonades, Orange Vanilla and Peach Ginger, are served here.
All combos can be upgraded with beer, and the selection is diverse including Ramsay’s personal favorite, Innis & Gunn from Scotland, which is hard to find in this country.
The LINQ Promenade, a retail, dining, drinking and entertainment passageway between The LINQ and Flamingo Las Vegas casino hotels in the middle of the Strip. The main attraction is the High Roller, the world's tallest observation wheel.
