Hawaii Scuba Diving - Kona, Big Island GoPro 4K
Kona, Big Island - Hawaii. Highlights of my seven dives while visiting the biggest island of Hawaii. Very successful boat trips of the coast of Kailua-Kona with Kona Diving Company. Some of the most exciting scuba diving excursions a have ever made. On two separate days we encountered Tiger Sharks (Crescent Beach). Lots of eels, octopuses, lion fish. Best day was on long range trip. It started at touch of grey site with number of baby grey reef sharks, white tip sharks, spotted eagle rays. Second dive we admired flying manta ray and third - tiger shark. Awesome day. Finally I was able to dive with Nitrox for the first time and it felt great.
All recorded in 4K with GoPro Hero4 and Hero3 Black Editions plus Sola 500 dive light from Light & Motion. Also used red filters with addition of macro lens for GoPro. Edited in Sony Movie Studio 13.

Tiger Sharks Scuba Diving - Kona - Big Island, Hawaii GoPro 4K
Extremely satisfying encounter of Tiger sharks while scuba diving in Kailua Kona. In two days, two sightings of this incredible animals at Crescent Beach near Honokohau Harbor. While this is common summer resident in the area this time of the year (mid November) was a real treat to see them. Massive looking fish, slowly gliding between the divers gives you a little perspective.... It was very exciting underwater experience and one of my best so far. Hard to stay still while it's moving around you:) Diving trip with Kona Diving Company.

Diving through a Lava Tube - Kohala, Hawaii, 2013
'Ulua Cave' dive site in North Kohola. Apparently named Ulua Cave due to the Ulua fish that used to live in the lava tube. They have since been spear-fished out of this site.
This is my first dive with the GoPro, so I'm still trying to figure out how to hold it still under water...

Amazing Manta Rays, shark, eels, spotted eagle ray, frog fish, dolphins - all the good staff. First time red filter use on go pro with light Great experience with Kona Diving Company. Awesome creatures underwater. Recommended multiday dives. Everyday is different. Good luck. Snorkeling is also fun if you are not a diver. I think Big Island has the best snorkeling sites in all hawaiian islands.

Big Island Dive Adventures, 2018 -- Kona, Hawaii Scuba Diving (Kona Aggressor II and Shore Dives)
This is a compilation of the many breathtaking dives that we did in Kona, Hawaii. Some of these were shore dives, most others were done from the Kona Aggressor II liveaboard. Some of the most remarkable experiences covered here include encounters with manta rays, dolphins, turtles, octopuses, fearsome looking eels and reef sharks. We also witnessed extensive reefs and beautiful reef fish, and swam over submerged volcanic craters and canyons.
The videos were taken (mostly) by my wife Neha, using a Sony RX100 M5 camera. Background score: Music from Relaxdaily (Lightness Within, N117 Sandsoy) and R. Armando Morabito (Sea of Atlas).

Two tank morning dive with Kohala Divers
Kohala Coast Dive Club at Puako lot 40
Seven divers in the Kohala Coast Dive Club met for two tanks of diving in Puako on the Big Island of Hawaii on October 16, 2019. These clips are all from the first tank, which departed from the access point at lot 40, and drops in near the turtle cleaning station. Notable items include the large number of trumpetfish at the beginning, a dark long-nose butterfly fish (which is found in very few places, primarily here on the Kona Coast), a featherduster tube worm, and of course, turtles being cleaned.
