Hi! We are Eric and Sarah, a couple of Canadians currently travelling around Central America. We’ve been married since 2017 but have known each other since we were only 6 years old! During our last year of university, we spent 4 months in Honduras on a semester abroad and fell in love with Latin America. Since then, we began planning and saving to do an extensive Latin America tour. 2020 delayed those plans by half a year but during this time stuck in BC, we explored a new hobby (like everyone in the pandemic) of videography and photography. We are now using our new skills to document our adventures around South and Central America. Foreigner's First impressions of Antique Philippines - My wife’s Hometown ????????
I was blown away in my first visit to Antique Province in Western Visayas Philippines, my wife's hometown and her first time to go back in over 10 years. We flew from Manila to San Jose Antique Airport, then took a trike and a van to Sibalom Antique Philippines. To say this is a small town is an understatement, the hotel was the top level of an office building with no lift but the security guard was really friendly and helped us carry our bags up.

Getting lost in Guatemala - You MUST visit this place...
Antigua Guatemala, a colonial city with a rich cultural heritage, is a stunning destination that will leave you mesmerized. In this video, we'll take you on a journey to explore the city's hidden treasures and historic landmarks.
Starting with a fun flight from Tambor, Costa Rica into San Jose we get lost in multiple places with the help of a cabbie and also our own horrible navigational skills in the city of Antigua.
This place is a must-see! This is our second visa run and it was so much more fun that just a quick trip over the border and back.

In this video tour of Antigua Guatemala, we visit six ruins that make the city so special. The city of Antigua is a UNESCO World Heritage site and when you visit, it is easy to understand why
Guatemala is prone to earthquakes. During the 1700’s, when Antigua was the capital, the area suffered several devastating earthquakes which left much of the city in ruins.
Some of those ruins still stand majestically around the town as a reminder of the resilience of this city and its people.
In fact, Antigua is a city of ruins. It is also beautiful with amazing architecture, vibrant colors, and some of the friendliest people we've ever met.

We are back travelling! This time, we chose to explore Guatemala, the Land of the Maya! This Central America country is loaded with natural, historical and cultural appeal!
From ancient Maya cities lost deep in the lush rainforest to intimidating smouldering volcanoes, through jungle-fringed lakes in the highlands, colourful colonial cities and distinctive indigenous culture, everything in Guatemala is magical.
Guatemala is of course the birthplace and heartland of the ancient Maya where traditions and religious rituals mingled with Catholic belief continue to thrive,.
Guatemalan delicious food is a based of Maya cuisine with Spanish colonial influences. Dishes prominently include corn, beans, rice and chillies. it is also the birthplace of chocolate and home of the popular Hass avocado! And of course, their arabica beans produced one of the best coffee in the world.
After few mishaps in Guatemala City, we set foot in the beautiful candy-colored city of Antigua.
Cobbled streets, colonial Spanish architecture, nearby volcanoes and perfect weather make Antigua, a jewel in Central America’s crown.
The city was granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1979 and is completely protected from wild urbanisation. If you are an architecture lover, food fiend and coffee aficionado, this gem will be haven. Great place to party too!
