Countries with the WORST natural geography on Earth

The geography of our planet is extremely unique, there is quite simply no other planet like it.

The geography of a country plays an important role in aiding or hindering its political, economic and military strength.

If you are a small, landlocked flat country, you will likely be an easy target for an invasion.

If you are surrounded by gigantic mountains, this helps to prevent land invasion, but it may also hinder your trading options.

So in this video, we've researched some of the most disadvantaged countries in the world when it comes to natural geography.

While I constantly try to find the positives in every place I visit, there are a few nations that I just simply didn't enjoy.

The country of BRUNEI is one of them.

I went to Brunei back in 2014, three years before I made videos, but my negative experiences in the country have stuck in my mind ever since. That, combined with its absurd human rights laws such as stoning to death LGBT members, I felt like this video needed to be shared with the world.

Have you ever visited any countries that you didn't enjoy? Please share below, I'm curious to know.

INCREDIBLE COLLAPSE TRIGGERED BY GLACIER CALVING | South America, Chile

An incredibly large chunk of the Grey Glacier's ice-sheet breaks off and flips over in a spectacular way in Southern Patagonia, Chile. The ice-sheet of the Grey Glacier is currently declining due to increasing temperatures and changes in rainfall. It is part of the 'Southern Patagonian Ice Field', the world's 2nd largest contiguous extrapolar ice field and the largest freshwater reservoir in South America.

The Grey Glacier is famous for insane glacier wall collapses during the summer when large icebergs – often up to 100 feet in height – are breaking off the glacier and collapsing into the water of the 'Lago Grey'. In the right time of the year big blocks of ice break off the glacier and drop into the water. The waves created by such glacier calving events often splash dozens of meters through the air. The glacier itself is about 6 km (3.7 mi) wide and has an average height of over 30 m (100 ft) above the surface of the water.

Thankfully, no-one was injured as boats stay at a safe distance from the glacier (for a good reason).

Glacier calving, also known as ice calving, or iceberg calving, is the breaking of ice chunks from the edge of a glacier. The sudden release and breaking away of a mass of ice from a glacier or iceberg often causes large waves around the area and can result in a shooter which is a large chunk of the submerged portion of the iceberg surfacing above the water. The ice that breaks away can be classified as an iceberg, but may also be a growler, bergy bit, or a crevasse wall breakaway. The entry of the ice into the water causes large, and often hazardous waves. (Find out more here:

Beware of THIS in New Zealand!

Did you expect this in New Zealand? When you come to New Zealand, you'll be shocked to see gangs. Gangs in New Zealand are so unafraid of the Police that they ride obnoxiously loud motorcycles so you can hear them a mile away.

They even wear a uniform which includes a gang patch, so you know which gang they're from.

This is how open and obvious organised crime is in New Zealand. And for visitors like my wife, it's shocking.

If you stay away from them, they won't bug ya. But the reality is gangs are known for the drug trade, murder, theft, violence against women, and the list goes on.

There are numerous gangs in New Zealand, of varying criminality, organisation and ethnicity, including outlaw motorcycle gangs, street gangs and ethnically based gangs. A chapter of the Hells Angels motorcycle club was formed in Auckland in 1961, the first Hells Angels chapter outside the US.

Soon after, the Mongrel Mob formed in Hastings and Wellington, developing into a predominantly Māori and Pacific Islander gang and having the largest membership in the country.

Through the 1960s and 1970s, other outlaw motorcycle clubs and ethnically based gangs formed, including another predominantly Māori gang, Black Power (not related to the African-American movement), which grew to rival the Mongrel Mob. from Wikipedia.

Chile: A land of geographic extremes

Chile is home to the driest desert in the world and its crystal clear skies; the age‐old icefields and pristine landscapes of the South; a breathtaking coastline that opens up to an immense ocean and the astonishing islands that it holds; powerful rivers that irrigate fertile fields; and, the Andes, the massif that forms the nation's backbone, which unites us all.

That diversity is the source of our bounty. As it is our brand, Chile Brand.

Coming Home - Chile | In Focus

For many years, Ana Aravena Gross was not able to return to her home country. Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet persecuted anyone he thought could be an enemy of the state. After she was released, she fled Chile for exile in Spain. Now she's an architect, living and working in Berlin. She sets out on a journey back to a country that is now very different from the one she left behind.

Chile! A land full of diverse beauty

Chile is a land of diversity and contrasts. Its geography distinguishes it from other destinations. It's a tri-continental country, possessing territories in America, Antartica, and Oceania. Its territory runs 4,300 kilometers along a narrow strip between the Andes Mountain Range and the Pacific Ocean. It also offers a wonderfully varied mix of landscapes and climates that range from natural wonders like the most arid desert in the world, to glaciers and straits in the Pacific Ocean. There are few experiences as rewarding as admiring gigantic masses of ice, or contemplating one of the clearest skies on the Planet.
