Nagorno-Karabakh has a total area of 4,400 square kilometres (1,699 sq mi).[95] Approximately half of Nagorno-Karabakh terrain is over 950 metres (3,120 ft) above sea level.[96] The borders of Nagorno-Karabakh resemble a kidney bean with the indentation on the east side. It has tall mountain ridges along the northern edge and along the west and mountainous south. The part near the indentation of the kidney bean itself is a relatively flat valley, with the two edges of the bean, the provinces of Martakert and Martuni, having flatlands as well. Other flatter valleys exist around the Sarsang reservoir, Hadrut, and the south. The entire region lies, on average, 1,100 metres (3,600 ft) above sea level.[96] Notable peaks include the border mountain Murovdag and the Great Kirs mountain chain in the junction of Shusha Rayon and Hadrut. The territory of modern Nagorno-Karabakh forms a portion of the historic region of Karabakh, which lies between the rivers Kura and Araxes, and the modern Armenia-Azerbaijan border. Nagorno-Karabakh in its modern borders is part of the larger region of Upper Karabakh.

Nagorno-Karabakh does not border Armenia but the republic controls the Lachin corridor, a mountain pass connecting it to Armenia.

Nagorno-Karabakh's environment vary from steppe on the Kura lowland through dense forests of oak, hornbeam, and beech on the lower mountain slopes to birchwood and alpine meadows higher up. The region possesses numerous mineral springs and deposits of zinc, coal, lead, gold, marble, and limestone.[97] The major cities of the region are Stepanakert, which serves as the capital of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, and Shusha, which lies partially in ruins. Vineyards, orchards, and mulberry groves for silkworms are developed in the valleys.[98]

Is Baku, Azerbaijan all a facade? - What They NEVER Show You

This is Baku, Azerbaijan! The capital of Azərbaycan (Azerbaycan) is located on the Caspian Sea coast and the easternmost point of the Caucasus region!
Often dubbed The Dubai of the Caucasus, oil rich Baku is known for its glitz, glam, lavish mega-projects and as a playground for the rich and famous of Azerbaijan. But it's not all like that. Azerbaijan is a country still very much developing and the average wage even in the bright lights of Baku is still only $300 USD per month (this during a period of high inflation and rising costs of living).
On the face of it, for most tourists, the city and the country may give the impressions that, like Dubai or Abu Dhabi, most are well off. However at present that just isn't the case, and many of the large skyscrapers and refurbished building shells hide the real Baku. The Baku where people still have to work two jobs to provide the necessities for their families, the Baku where people have the illegally extend their apartments just to have enough space to live. That begs the question, is Baku all a façade?

From Baku it is only a 'short hop' across the 'worlds largest inland body of water' to Kazakhstan! Just 4000km's to go to Almaty!

But first, welcome to Azerbaijan! ????????

While I constantly try to find the positives in every place I visit, there are a few nations that I just simply didn't enjoy.

The country of BRUNEI is one of them.

I went to Brunei back in 2014, three years before I made videos, but my negative experiences in the country have stuck in my mind ever since. That, combined with its absurd human rights laws such as stoning to death LGBT members, I felt like this video needed to be shared with the world.

Have you ever visited any countries that you didn't enjoy? Please share below, I'm curious to know.

In today's episode, we bring you on our travel day from Azerbaijan to its neighbor Armenia via the third, neutral, neighbor Georgia.

We've been to Georgia and Tbilisi before, so it was nice to be back in a place we didn't think we'd see again so soon!

Azerbaijan and Armenia aren't on the best of terms politically, so watch the video to find out how we went about this trip with as few issues as possible.

Armenia was country 92????

The Caucasus is the second most linguistically diverse region on earth after Papua New Guinea. The three independent countries that are here, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia, are totally different in terms of language and culture, and a trip to the region is an exhilarating roller coaster. What's more, the three capitals: Tbilisi, Baku, and Yerevan are vastly different in terms of architecture, vibe, food scene, and history.

Amazing Azerbaijan | Interesting Facts About Azerbaijan | Neel Travelogues

Amazing Azerbaijan : No one guess how beautiful, unique and interesting Azerbaizan is. It has an ancient history, super architechture. I was shocked after visiting Azierbaizan i never thought azerbaizan is so beautiful when i was planning to visit this country.

The climate, geography and topography of Azerbaijan are as diverse as its cultural heritage, with the country experiencing nine of the 13 world climate zones. The country has snowy mountainous regions (the Greater Caucasus mountain range runs through the north of Azerbaijan), flat wetlands, desert-like plains, mud volcanoes (the largest number of mud volcanoes in the world), woods and forests, nature reserves (2.5 per cent of the landmass of Azerbaijan is preserved across 11 state reserves and eight national parks) and beaches.

Azerbaizan is situated in Central Asia. Azerbaizan, Azer means fire.. it linked with a region of thousand years before who worships fire.

Russia is in North, Iran and Turkey on the south, Georgia on North-west and Armenia on the west. I will explain how easily you can plan Azerbaizan and Georgia together in coming videos.
now lets see what are the amazing places to explore in Azebaizan

Gobusthan, Mud Valconos, pink lake, Yanagdag, Old city and Beaches
