DAY 1: NJP/BAGDOGRA TO GANGTOK
Our representative will Meet and Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra and transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.) 124 km (77 mi). The drive will take you through a bank of river Tista with a beautiful view of mountains and river. On arrival Check-in to hotel and rest. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
DAY 2: TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR (Optional Nathula Pass)
After Breakfast will have a Full day Excursion OF Tsomgo Lake. The water in this lake has been accumulated from the melting snow on the mountains located nearby. Post covering Tsomgo Laje we will proceed to Baba Mandir, which is a distinguished sightseeing place of Sikkim. This “mandir” or shrine is dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, who was a soldier of the Indian Army.
Optional: Nathula Pass on direct payment basis (3500-5000) depending on the permit.
DAY 3: GANGTOK SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast will have a sightseeing of Gangtok which includes Tashi viewpoint, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Bakhtang Waterfall, Enchey Monastery, Flower exhibition centre, handicraft centre(closed on Sunday), Chorten Stupa, Institute of Tibetology, Ropeway Overnight at Gangtok.
DAY 4: GANGTOK TO DARJEELING
After having breakfast move towards Darjeeling which is a beautiful hill town set in West Bengal which is known for its tea plantations. The place makes one experience the most breath-taking views of the Himalayas. on the way visit to Triveni viewpoint. After reaching Darjeeling, check-in to the hotel and after fresh up can have a Toy Train ride (BY OWN) free to roam Darjeeling market in the evening.
DAY 5: TIGER HILL & DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING
Early Morning at 3:45 am will move towards tiger hill. It is famous for its panoramic view of Mount Everest and MT Kanchenjunga together and early morning sunrise. On the way back to hotel visit the famous Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast will have sightseeing which includes, Japanese temple, Peace pagoda, Ava art gallery, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tenzing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (Closed on Sunday).
DAY 6: KURSEONG VISIT & DROP TO BAGDOGRA

It is a beautiful and well organised city where you can get all modern facilities like shopping mall, big departmental stores, movie theatre, restaurants, coffee shops and many others. How to Reach Gangtok By train reach New Jalpaiguri (NJP) station of West Bengal. There are several trains available from all major cities of the country to NJP. By air, reach Bagdogra airport first. From NJP the distance of Gangtok is 125 Kms and from Bagdogra, the distance is 124 Kms. It will take 5 to 6 hours to reach Gangtok from Bagdogra or NJP by car.
The rate of a car is between 3000/- - 4000/- rupees, depending on the number of seats available. You can also avail a share cab run by Sikkim National Transport . The fare is INR 500/- per person. There are also SNT organised bus services available to reach Gangtok from NJP. The rate is INR 90 per person. Chopper service is also available from Bagdogra to Gangtok. Charge is INR 3500 per person one way. Gangtok Site Seeing Day -1 On day 1 of your Gangtok tour go for city site seeing tour. Hire a local cab for 10 points site seeing. Gangtok is the capital city of Indian state Sikkim. Situated at an altitude of 5500 feet, it is a beautiful and well organised city where you can get all modern facilities like shopping mall, big departmental stores, movie theatre, restaurants, coffee shops and many others.
How to Reach Gangtok
By train reach New Jalpaiguri (NJP) station of West Bengal. There are several trains available from all major cities of the country to NJP. By air, reach Bagdogra airport first. From NJP the distance of Gangtok is 125Km and from Bagdogra, the distance is 124 Km. It will take 3 to 4 hours to reach Gangtok from Bagdogra or NJP by car. The rate of a car is between 2500 and 4000 rupees, depending on the number of seats available.
You can also avail a share cab run by Sikkim National Transport (SNT). The fare is INR 200-300 per person. There are also SNT organised bus services available to reach Gangtok from NJP. The rate is INR 90 per person.
Chopper service is also available from Bagdogra to Gangtok. Charge is INR 3500 per person one way.
Gangtok Site Seeing
Day -1
On day 1 of your Gangtok tour go for city site seeing tour. Hire a local cab for 10 points site seeing. The charge will be INR 3000 to 3500 for a day. The main spots to visit are:
Rumtek Monastery:
Rumtek Monastery is a gompa located near Gangtok.
MG Marg:
The heart of the city is MG Marg.
Banjhakri Falls:
It is one of the most beautiful places in Gangtok.
Seven Sister Water Falls:
It is another beautiful waterfalls near Gangtok where you can enjoy nature.
Gangtok Ropeway:
Take a ride of Gangtok Ropeway to get a bird’s eye view of the city.
Ganesh Tok:
It is a temple of Lord Ganesha located 6km from Gangtok town. Visit here to pray Lord Ganesha and also to enjoy the enchanting views of the surroundings from the viewing lounge with glass panel.
Tashi View Point:
It is located 8Km away from Gangtok town and offers a stunning view of Mount Kanchenjunga snow peaks on a clear day.
Hanuman Tok:
The famous Hanuman temple is popular for its wonderful serene ambience and a viewing area that offers spectacular view of Kanchenjunga range.
Nmgyal Institute of Tibetan Technology:
It is the one of the main Tibetan Institutes of the world. You can see various rare Tibetan and Sanskrit manuscript here. The place is also known for beautiful Thanka paintings.
Enchey Monastery:
This is another famous site to visit near Gangtok.
Day 2:
On day 2 of your Gangtok trip go for Nathula Pass, Tsomgo Lake and Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial Temple tour.
Tsomgo is a beautiful glacial lake 38 Km away from Gangtok located at an altitude of 12,400 feet.

This video I have shown my travel journey from Gangtok to lachung and all the site seeing that would be covered in this journey. We started our journey from Sikkim Gangtok and on the way we have seen a lot of beautiful scenery is like Naga waterfall ..
Gangtok is the capital city of Indian state Sikkim. Situated at an altitude of 5500 feet, it is a beautiful and well-organised city where you can get all modern facilities like a shopping mall, big departmental stores, movie theatre, restaurants, coffee shops and many others.
How to Reach Gangtok
By train reach New Jalpaiguri (NJP) station of West Bengal. There are several trains available from all major cities of the country to NJP. By air, reach Bagdogra airport first. Rumtek Monastery is a gompa located near Gangtok. Currently, it is the largest monastery in Sikkim. It is home to the community of monks and where they perform the rituals and practices of the Karma Kagyu lineage.
MG Marg:
The heart of the city is MG Marg. It is the main street of Gangtok and is a great place to hang around. The street is India’s first litter and spits free zone. No vehicle is allowed in this street. You can also enjoy shopping while walking through this road. Every year, in the month of December Gangtok food and culture festival, is held here.
Banjhakri Falls:
It is one of the most beautiful places in Gangtok. The park surrounding the falls area is well maintained. Overall, a nice place to relax.
Seven Sister Water Falls:
It is another beautiful waterfalls near Gangtok where you can enjoy nature.
Gangtok Ropeway:
Take a ride of Gangtok Ropeway to get a bird’s eye view of the city.
Ganesh Tok:

For this tour you have to submit 2 passport size photograph and a photocopy of your voter Id card to the authority in order to get a permit. You can submit those documents to your hotel or travel agent and they will get the permit for you.
Tsomgo is a beautiful glacial lake 38 Km away from Gangtok located at an altitude of 12,400 feet.
Nathula Pass is situated at the Indo China Border. It is 18 Km away from Tsomgo Lake. Visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial Temple on your way back to Gangtok.
From Gangtok, Local Cars will charge INR 800-1200 per person for this tour.
Day 3
On 3rd day, you can visit south Sikkim. The famous spots are Namchi and Temi Tea Garden.
In Namchi visit Namchi Monastery, Ralang Monastery, Tendong hill and recently inaugurated Siddhesvara Dham. This spot is famous for the giant 87 feet tall statue of Lord Shiva. In this temple, you can see the replicas of four Dhams of the country.
From Namchi go to Temi Tea garden. An organic tea estate with beautiful surroundings. This is a great place to relax.

Our representative will Meet and Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra and transfer to Gangtok (5,480 ft.) 124 km (77 mi). The drive will take you through a bank of river Tista with a beautiful view of mountains and river. On arrival Check-in to hotel and rest. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
DAY 2: TSOMGO LAKE & BABA MANDIR (Optional: Nathula Pass)
After Breakfast will have a full day Excursion of Tsomgo Lake. The water in this lake has accumulated from the melting snow on the mountains located nearby. Post covering Tsomgo Laje we will proceed to Baba Mandir, which is a distinguished sightseeing place of Sikkim. This “Mandir” or shrine is dedicated to “Baba” Harbhajan Singh, who was a soldier of the Indian Army.
Optional: Nathula Pass on a direct payment basis (3500-5000) depending on the permit.
DAY 3: GANGTOK SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast will have sightseeing in Gangtok which includes Tashi viewpoint, Hanuman Tok, Ganesh Tok, Bakhtang Waterfall, Enchey Monastery, Flower Exhibition Center, handicraft center (closed on Sunday), Chorten Stupa, Institute of Tibetology, Ropeway Overnight at Gangtok.

খুব ধস প্রবন এলাকা, তাই বছরের যে কোনো সময়ই রাস্তা বন্ধ থাকতে পারে। দক্ষিণ ও
পশ্চিম সিকিম সারা বছরই যাওয়া যায়, তবে বর্ষায় কোনো কোনো জায়গা যেতে সমস্যা
হতে পারে। পূর্ব সিকিম এ জুলুক ও নাথাং ভ্যালি এবং ছাঙ্গু লেক সহ বাবমন্দির/নাথুলা
যেতে গেলে সেপ্টেম্বর শেষ থেকে নভেম্বর এবং ফেব্রুয়ারী শেষ থেকে মে এর মধ্যে
যাওয়াই ভালো। গ্যাংটক যে কোনো সময়ই যাওয়া যায়।

আমরা গ্যাংটক শহরে 3রাত্রি 4দিন কাটিয়েছিলাম। মূলত সেই সময় গ্যাংটকের আবহাওয়া 4℃ থেকে 6℃ এর মধ্যে ছিলো। আমরা MG Marg এর নিকটবর্তী হোটেল এ ছিলাম নাম Canaan Hotel
এই টুরে আমরা মূলত 'ইস্ট সিকিম' ঘুরেছি।
● নিউ জলপাইগুড়ি স্টেশনে তিস্তা তোর্শা ট্রেন থেকে নামলাম প্রায় রাত তখন 2:40AM | চারদিকে কুয়াশা এবং লোকজনের ভিড়। ট্রেন থেকে নামার পর waiting room এ অপেক্ষা করলাম। সকাল 4:00AM নিউ জলপাইগুড়ি স্টেশনের সামনে আমাদের গাড়ি এসে লাগলো গাড়িতে চেপে রওনা দিলাম গ্যাংটকের উদ্দেশ্য। গ্যাংটক পৌঁছাতে পৌঁছাতে সময় হয়ে গিয়েছিলো প্রায় সকাল 9:30AM।
● নিউ জলপাইগুড়ি থেকে যত সকাল সকাল বেড়ানো যায় ততই ভালো, নাইলে জ্যাম এ পড়তে হতে পারে, আর পাহাড়ের জ্যাম মানে অনেক্ষন সময় লাগবে।
● প্রথমদিন গ্যাংটক নেমে আমরা দুপুরে সাইড সিনের জন্য রওনা হলাম।
● দ্বিতীয় দিনে প্রগ্রাম ছিলো ছাঙ্গু লেক। (কিন্তু সেদিন ছাঙ্গু লেকে অত্যাধিক বরফ পরার কারনে পারমিট পাইনি।) নিরাশায় সেইদিন হোটেলে কাটালাম এবং সন্ধ্যে বেলায় MG Marg এ নেমে কিছু shopping করলাম।
● তৃতীয় দিন সৌভাগ্য বসত ছাঙ্গু লেক যাবার পারমিট পেলাম এবং রওনা হলাম ছাঙ্গুর উদ্দেশ্যে। সেইখানে যা দেখলাম বলে বোঝানো সম্ভব নয়, অসম্ভব সুন্দর দৃশ্য যেন মনে হচ্ছে স্বপ্নের জগতে আছি।
● চতুর্থ দিন গ্যাংটক থেকে নিউ জলপাইগুড়ি র উদ্দেশ্যে রওনা হলাম ট্রেন ধরে বাড়ি ফেরার জন্য। (গ্যাংটক থেকে নিউ জলপাইগুড়ি যাবার সময় সকাল সকাল না বেড়ালে অসম্ভব বড়ো জ্যাম এর মধ্যে পড়তে হবে। তাই সকাল সকাল বেড়ানো সবথেকে শ্রেয়।)

Day 1:
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or Pakyong Airport
Check in at your hotel and freshen up.
Head to MG Road, the main shopping and dining area in Gangtok.
Visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology
End the day with a visit to the Enchey Monastery, a beautiful monastery that offers great city views.
Day 2:
Start the day with a visit to the Rumtek Monastery, the largest and most important monastery in Sikkim.
Head to the Ganesh Tok viewpoint
Visit the Hanuman Tok temple
Explore the Flower Exhibition Centre
Enjoy a traditional Sikkimese dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 3:
Visit Tsomgo Lake or Changu Lake, a glacial lake about 40 km from Gangtok.
After the lake, head to the nearby Baba Mandir, a temple dedicated to a soldier who died in the Indo-China war.
Return to Gangtok and spend the rest of the day exploring the city or shopping for souvenirs.
Day 4:
Check out of your hotel and head to the Bagdogra Airport

Gangtok is the capital city of Indian state Sikkim. Situated at an altitude of 5500 feet, it is a wonderful, clean and well organised city where you can get all kind of modern facilities like other big cities like shopping mall, coffee shop, wine shop, restaurant, luxurious hotels etc. Fot tourists there are so many things to see and places to visit like zoo, ropeway, monastery, mg road, flower garden, temples etc.
How to reach Gangtok : First you have to reach either NJP Station of west bengal by train or Bagdogra airport by flight. The distance of Gangtok is 125 km from NJP Station and 124 km from bagdogra airport. From there you can book cab, sharing car, bus or chopper to reach Gangtok. It takes 3 to 4 hours to reach Gangtok by road.
Gangtok Tourist Places : Gangtok is a beautiful hill station. There are lots of popular places to visit.
Day 1 : On Day 1 you can book a cab for local 10 points sight seeing like Gangtok ropeway, Banjhankri falls, flower garden, ganesh tak, hanuman tak, zoo, rumtek monastery, Ranka monastery, tashi view point etc.
Day 2: on day 2 you must visit Nathula pass, chhangu/ tsomgo lake, baba Harbhajan Singh temple, 0 point: India-China border etc. Nathula is the place where you may see snow or even live snowfall. It will take whole day.
Day 3: On day 3 you can visit other parts of sikkim like pelling, yamthung, Ravangla, lachung, Lachen etc.
