Yesterday, we unexpectedly ended up at Fish Eye Marine Park and decided to do some snorkeling. Fish Eye is a very popular spot on the island and is a great location for snorkeling. The water is calm and the fish are various. I have friends who have seen sharks, turtles, and manta rays at this location. In addition to the Marine Park, there are a number of cool snorkeling locations around the Piti bomb holes.

The new style Full Face Snorkel mask vs. the traditional snorkeling mask and snorkel, which is better??? Full face snorkel masks are gaining in popularity but are they as good as an old style snorkeling mask and snorkel? We compare both types of snorkeling masks across several categories and decide what are the pros and cons of each mask.
Personally I always recommend using a traditional mask and snorkel instead of a full face snorkeling mask is someone is learning how to snorkel. The traditional mask is safer and more reliable and can always be used for Scuba diving or Freediving later. Learn how to snorkel underwater in my other videos.

Kelli and I took scuba lessons while here on Guam. Not only is beautiful here, but also the most inexpensive place in the world for lessons. We had a great time with a fantastic instructor.

Last Dive in Guam 2022 - Blue & White and Tarzan Caves
We dove our last dive in Guam in our two favorite spots. First was Blue & White. It’s named for the deep blue water and white sand. This site is located right outside the harbor on the other side of the break wall and is only accessible by boat. This site contains one of the largest sea anemones and houses a lot of clownfish. Even on a bad day visibility can be 70-80 feet. New divers should monitor their computer frequently as you can end up very deep, very quickly. This site has plateaus at 35 and 60 feet, then slopes to a sharp drop-off at 110 feet. Just need to be open water certified to dive here. Depths range from 25 - 130 feet with visibility going well last 100 feet.
Our second site we dove was Tarzan Caves. This recently has become one of my favorite spots. You can hang out around the caves and check out what’s behind all the rocks or you can drift down to Shark’s Pit and checkout things along the way. There is a fully intact bull dozer here and a lion fish lives in it. Visibility is great here as well. Accessible either by boat or by shore if you have base access. You can get to Tarzan Caves by swimming from Old Wives Beach on Naval Base Guam.
All in all, it was a great last dive in Guam and I am so thankful for everyone who came out to dive with us in our last dive. Until next time.
