Walking through the Concreate urban art exhibition in soon to be demolished Keran Hallit.
Very interesting exhibition of really good urban art and installations. Would highly recommend checking this out if you're interested in urban / street art. The exhibition was open to public until May 29th 2021
Entrance is free and the area is located about 15 minute train ride away from Helsinki central railway station.
Concreate Urban Art is an annual festival taking place in different locations and aiming at introducing art into new urban areas. The first Concreate festival was held in 2020 in East Pasila district.
Concreate Urban Art Festival is organized by Helsinki Urban Art Association. Helsinki Urban Art specializes in street art and bringing art into public spaces as a part of the everyday life. Helsinki Urban Art carries out various different art projects, aims of which are to enrich and brighten the urban space in Helsinki and other cities in Finland and abroad. The objective of the organization is to find new ways of utilizing urban space, create communal urban culture, and find solutions to societal problems through art and activism.
