1945: US Army Returns Holy Relic to Hungary
On August 19, 1945, five American soldiers were on a mad rush through the blizzard in the Austrian Alps to bring back holiest relic of Hungary in time for St. Stephen's day. The Holy Right Hand of St. Stephen had been hidden near Salzburg before the end of WW2 by members of the Hungarian Arrow Cross militia. Its unexpected and miraculous return on the day of St. Stephen brought joy and gave hope to the suffering Hungarian people.
In this exclusive Cold War Budapest mini-documentary, you will hear the five American soldiers (stationed in Hungary as members of the Allied Control Commission) tell the story in their own words. The rare audio is complemented by just as rare images and documents, all from of the estate of the late Lt. Col. George Kovach. In addition, you can see original footage of the religious procession that took place on August 20, 1945, with members of the Catholic church carrying around the newly returned relic on the streets of Budapest.

We Celebrated St. Stephen's Day in Budapest, Hungary!
St. Stephen's Day is one of the best days to be in Budapest, and we were lucky enough to get to celebrate this amazing holiday with the Hungarian people! For those who don't know, St. Stephen's Day is essentially Hungary's Fourth of July or Independence Day. The day represents the foundation of the country of Hungary as we know it today, and the Hungarian people celebrate on August 20th every year.
It was a day that was jam-packed with fun, from the Air and Water Show and Military Parade, to the Street of Hungarian Flavors and the spectacular fireworks.
Celebrating St. Stephen's Day in Budapest, Hungary was one of our favorite days ever!

The Hungarian Parliament Building (Hungarian: Országház), which translates to House of the Country or House of the Nation), also known as the Parliament of Budapest after its location,[5] is the seat of the National Assembly of Hungary, a notable landmark of Hungary, and a popular tourist destination in Budapest. It is situated on Kossuth Square in the Pest side of the city, on the eastern bank of the Danube. It was designed by Hungarian architect Imre Steindl in neo-Gothic style and opened in 1902.[6] It has been the largest building in Hungary since its completion

Lost in Dracula's Labyrinth Budapest Hungary
Dracula's Labyrinth is a tourist attraction in Budapest. Hungary. This is the actual labyrinth that Count Vlad Dra Cula was imprisoned in in the 14th century. Some say it is haunted. Strange things happened on this walk through the dungeonl system. How does your shadow pass through you in the opposite direction? There are many strange voices heard as well. Enjoy and take a journey into the darkness with me.
