Only The Emperor's Chariot Can Have 6 Horses Pulling | Ep.4 河南洛阳天子驾六博物馆和应天门
In this episode, we began our journey at a little known place called the King Chariots Museum, located above one of the oldest imperial tomb sites in all of China. It was here we learned how ancient Chinese Eastern Zhou Dynasty implemented royal hierarchy using the number of horses pulling a chariot. Then we made our way to the site of the historically famous Yingtian Gate, known in Chinese as 应天门, where the only female Emperor in Chinese history, Wu Zetian, stood as she addressed the people.
