Four Seasons Bora Bora - Restaurant & Property (Pool, Beach, SPA, Chapel) 4K Tour - French Polynesia
Located on the east side of the Bora Bora lagoon, the Four Season Bora Bora in French Polynesia is a luxury resort in arguably the most beautiful place in the world. To get to Bora Bora you typically fly to the big island of Tahiti, and then take Air Tahiti Airways (note: not NUI) from Tahiti to Bora Bora, about a 45 minute flight. You arrive at an airport that is on an island (called a Motu … it is the tip of the mouth of a volcano) where a Four Seasons Bora Bora representative will great you and show you to the boat. The boat ride from the airport at the north end of the lagoon to the Four Seasons Bora Bora is about 10 to 15 minutes of stunning views of the lagoon, some of the most clear and turquoise water in the world. After arriving and checking in, you are taken by cart to either your over-the-water bungalow or your land villa for your stay. There are two piers (they call them Pontoons) on which the over-the-water bungalows are built, that connect to the motu the Four Seasons Bora Bora is built on.
Close by the check-in building are most of the other buildings at the resort (nearly all within easy walking distance). The first restaurant you run into is the casually elegant dinner restaurant named ARII MOANA, where you can sit outside or in and have classic Mediterranean food, including an incredible steak, while you watch the sunset and you look out at Mount Otemanu. A little further down the path is VAIMITI restaurant, the Asian inspired restaurant that has both covered and uncovered outdoor seating. Past VAMITI is TERE NUI restaurant, the covered outdoor breakfast buffet that also has a number of items that they cook to order. Lastly, at the end by the pool and the beach, is FARE HOA bar and grill which is wonderful for lunch. On top of all the restaurants at the Four Seasons Bora Bora is the large In-Room dining menu (room service), which you can have in your over-the-water bungalow or land villa (breakfast can even be delivered by out-rigger boat by native Tahitian dressed staff).
The 4k Property Tour of the Four Seasons Bora Bora includes the large public pool surrounded by loungers and large covered bora bora pool cabanas with ceiling fans and day beds. On the other side of the pool is the nicest beach at the Four Seasons Bora Bora. This beach area includes many loungers with umbrellas and tables located in the beautiful white sand. The beach flows directly into to the lagoon, where you can wet your feet in the salt water or go for a swim, including a quick waist-deep splash through the water to a little island with one palm tree.
Walking back behind the land villas, as you continue the property tour of the Four Seasons Bora Bora, you see many little areas of water that are off the lagoon, where you can easily walk down and get in the water. You can barrow a snorkel, or bring your own, and as you swim you will be greeted by the most vibrant of different colored fish in water as clear as a pool. Near one of these areas of water, on the bank, is the AHERENOA chapel. This AHERENOA chapel is the perfect destination for a destination wedding, just like the Four Season Bora Bora is the ultimate honeymoon getaway.
As the 4k Property Tour of the Four Seasons Bora Bora reaches the back of the resort, right before the motu gives way to the Pacific Ocean, up on a hill is the TE MAHANA SPA. The TE MAHANA SPA has beautiful views of this side of the motu, and includes a plunge pool hot tub that resort guests can use to relax and unwind. Next to the TE MAHANA SPA is the exercise facility if you want to keep in-shape while on your vacation.

Four Seasons Bora Bora - Two-Bedroom Beachfront Land Villa with Private Pool & Beach 4K Room Tour
The Two-Bedroom Beachfront Land Villa with Private Pool and Private Beach is an incredibly spacious private villa at the Four Seasons Bora Bora resort in French Polynesia. While most come to Bora Bora to stay in the iconic over-the-water bungalow, this villa is very different. This villa is the size of a reasonable house at 3200 square feet and can sleep up to five adults. The villa is located on land (motu) of the resort, and has quick and easy access to the rest of the resort.
The 4k Room Tour of the Four Seasons Bora Bora Two-Bedroom Beachfront Land Villa with Private Pool and Private Beach starts with the secluded entry area perfect for the hotel staff to pick you up or drop you off. The garden around the entry is beautiful, and there is a covered area to stay out of the sun. Walking into villa, standing in the entryway you begin to see how very large the villa is. To your left is a bathroom, not just a powder room but a full bathroom, and to your right is full pantry with full size refrigerator that puts even the nicest mini bar to shame. The main living room is massive, with the left side having a large sleeper sofa, chair, and coffee table (so big you could eat at it) all focused on a large flat-screen HDTV (on the left is a coffee and tea bar). On the right side of the living room, is a dining table with plenty of room for 6 adults, and there is also a large side table/cabinet and two side chairs. The entire living room has big sliding doors and floor to ceiling windows that look out to the pool, beach, and Mount Otemanu. Above the living room are two ceiling fans. The primary bedroom has a king size bed with night stands, a large flat-screen HDTV, a ceiling fan overhead, and a dressing area in the rear with large wardrobes, shelves, and even a desk. Bathroom has a long continuous counter top with two sinks, a private space with toilet and bidet, and a large walk in rain shower. If the shower inside wasn’t enough, there is door the leads to an outdoor shower as well (hidden by a high privacy wall). In addition, off the bedroom, there is a huge soaking tub in a room where two walls are louvered slats that can be opened to the outside. The secondary bedroom has two queen size beds, a large flat-screen HDTV, and a ceiling fan overhead. Its bathroom has two sinks, a tub, private toilet area, a large walk in closet for clothes, and rain shower space. This bathroom also has a door to another outside shower with high privacy wall. Like the bungalows, the whole villa is exquisitely constructed out of the traditional teak-wood with a thatched roof. It is decorated with Polynesian art and has high-speed wireless internet access throughout, as well as three zones of air-conditioning (each bedroom, and the living room) if you need it. This villa is perfect for a family or small group looking to enjoy time together, relax, and make memories for a lifetime.
The 4k Room Tour of the Four Seasons Bora Bora Two-Bedroom Beachfront Land Villa with Private Pool and Private Beach continues outside first at the massive pool area and deck. The pool is so big you could easily swim laps in it, or have as much fun as you want playing around or relaxing on a float. Around the pool are 6 loungers, an umbrella, and an outdoor pool shower. Next to the pool is a large covered shaded area that includes an L-shaped couch with coffee table, and a large dining table that seats 6. Above this area are lights and multiple ceiling fans. There is a white sandy pathway to the private beach area in front of the pool that has direct access to the lagoon. There are four loungers and an umbrella by the water, as well as day-bed cabana structure with ceiling fan. We took the added option of having a private movie under the stars on the beach.

The Otemanu OverWater Mountain-View Lagoon-View One-Bedroom Bungalow Suite with Private Plunge Pool is the top-of-the-line one-bedroom over-the-water bungalow at the Four Season Bora Bora resort in French Polynesia. There are four Otemanu Bungalow Suites located at the very end of the “Y”s of the two pontoons with unobstructed views of the beautiful Mount Otemanu. These rooms are ideal for celebrities and VIPs, with a private boat dock right by the room for ideal privacy, but are also available to that not-so VIP couple looking for their own VIP experience on a honeymoon or just have a romantic vacation.
The room tour of the Four Seasons Bora Bora Otemanu OverWater Mountain-View Lagoon-View One-Bedroom Bungalow Suite with Private Plunge Pool begins with the entrance through the covered door to an entryway with a closet to the right and private full secondary bathroom to the left. You then enter the main living room which at one end there is side table (with phone and complementary plug adapters if needed), a couch and chair with coffee table, a ceiling fan overhead, and a large flatscreen HDTV. On the other side of the living room is a large table that comfortably seats 4 for any in-room-dining (room-service) you may wish to have, as well as a very large not-so-mini bar with refrigerator stocked with sodas and adult beverages, a Nespresso coffee maker with pods and coffee mugs, a number of different types of glassware to meet all your needs, a sink, snacks and tea packets, and a safe for the room. All along the side of the living room are glass doors and floor to ceiling windows with views straight out to the deck and the stunning views of Mount Otemanu. Through two sets of sliding doors is access to the large bedroom, that includes a large king size bed in the center of the room with built in night-stands and cabinet-table-headboard on the back. The bed has a large picture window in front of it to look directly out to Mount Otemanu, and the window has sliding louvered shades for privacy if needed. Above the room is a ceiling fan, and there is another large flatscreen HDTV in front of the bed. In the back of the bedroom is a large dressing area with a large desk, chair, lamp, and mirror, as well as matching mirrored wardrobes for hanging all the clothes you brought with you. On the other side of the bedroom from the living room is another pocket door that leads into the primary bathroom. This bathroom includes two large vanities with back lit mirrors and shelves, a large soaking tub, a private toilet area with door, and a large walk-in shower with rain head and handheld. The whole bungalow is exquisitely constructed out of the traditional teak-wood with a thatched roof. It is decorated with Polynesian art and has high-speed wireless internet access throughout, as well as two zones of air-conditioning if you need it. This room is perfect for any VIP couple looking to enjoy time together, relax, and make memories for a lifetime.
The room tour of the Four Seasons Bora Bora Otemanu OverWater Mountain-View Lagoon-View One-Bedroom Bungalow Suite with Private Plunge Pool continues outside on the large three-area two-level deck. Accessed from the primary bathroom is one of the large deck areas that includes access to the private plunge pool with vanishing edge. Next to the plunge pool is an over-the-water hammock as well as a large cabana like structure that covers (shades) a daybed with outdoor plugs and ceiling fan above. Down the steps from this upper deck area is a lover deck area. This lower deck area is a perfect area for jumping into the lagoon (which rather deep, over 10 feet, out on the end of the lagoons) to swim in the sea water, and has a ladder up out of the water, as well as the outdoor shower. Up some stairs is the other raised deck area, also accessible from the glass doors in the living room. This raised deck area has two large loungers for tanning and relaxing in the sun. There as a large covered area in the corner, with ceiling fan above and outdoor plugs, with a table and chairs for eating or sitting outside out of the sun. There are four seasons white towels for the pool and the loungers. The whole outside deck area has incredible views of the turquoise Bora Bora lagoon as well as Mount Otemanu.

Four Seasons Bora Bora is the most phenomenal luxury resort in the world. We spent five nights here and we had one of the best times ever, from the luxury overwater bungalow, to the stunning lagoon and exceptional service.
Four Seasons Resorts Bora Bora is located on a private island, about 15 minutes boat transfer from Bora Bora airport. It has 100 overwater villas and 7 beachfront villas, all renovated in 2019. The modern design is combined with the local Polynesian style. The resort has a blue flag beach, an amazing pool, one of the best SPAs in the world and some Michelin level restaurants.
This first video review covers the hotel premises, the one-bedroom mountain-view overwater bungalow suite and the amazing inner lagoon.

Every room at Four Seasons Bora Bora is suite-style, meaning you have a separate bedroom and living room. The rooms overall are spectacular, with a variety of options to choose from based on your budget and needs. There are actually no “standard” beach bungalows at Four Seasons, rather, they have chosen to make the lowest room type an overwater bungalow (which we love).

The suites themselves have a large living room with walls that completely open up to the outside. The living room features a large minibar, seating area and television. The bathroom separates the living room from the bedroom and features a large bath tub that also opens completely to the outside, two vanities, shower and separate toilet room. The king bedroom is plush and serene. The entire bungalow smells of fresh wood and exudes the feeling of a spa. We fell in love with the small details, like the coffee table books, artwork and true feeling of home.
The patio is large and features a covered dining table, two chaise loungers and a lower swimming deck. We spent all day and night lounging on the patio outside. Even if it rains, the covered dining area is protected.
Between the three “standard” bungalows, the mountain view is by far the most spectacular, our room having a direct view of Mount Otemanu from every angle. The next category up features plunge pools and are good for travelers who prefer to lounge in a pool during the day rather than take a dip in the lagoon. Do note that the pools are not heated.
The Otemanu Suites with Plunge Pools are a bit more of a splurge but do feature a larger pool, outdoor covered lounge pad and are situated on the end caps of the jetties for total privacy to the outside when lounging in the living room, bedroom or pool. We love this suite type, but do note that the lounge corner is not private do to the curve of the jetty and proximity to neighboring rooms.

What is the COST of The Four Seasons Bora Bora? We visited The Four Seasons Bora Bora during spring break 2023. The week spent in Bora Bora was incredible.
We stayed at The Four Seasons Bora Bora for 4 nights while on the island. I hope this video answers many questions and shares the beauty of the four seasons bora bora resort.
The Four Seasons Bora Bora resort offers 115 spacious hideaways with 108 overwater bungalows and 7 enormous beachfront villa estates. There are 2 docks, east and west, that are built into the lagoon and support all the overwater bungalows. There are 108 one and two-bedroom overwater bungalows, and 27 of them have a private plunge pool.
