ഗരുഡാഗിരി അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഗരുഡാകരി ഷാപ്പ് കുട്ടനാട്ടിലെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രശസ്തമായ ഒരു രുചിയിടമാണ്. ഒരു കള്ള് ഷാപ്പെങ്കിലും ഫാമിലിക്കായി പ്രത്യേക സജ്ജീകരണങ്ങളുള്ള ഈ ഷാപ്പിലെ രുചികൾ വളരെ പേരുകേട്ടവയാണ്. ഞാൻ അവിടെ ട്രൈ ചെയ്തത് കുഴ എന്ന ഒരു ഐറ്റം ആണ്. കപ്പയും കാച്ചിലും ചേനയും ചേമ്പും ഒക്കെ ചേർത്ത് കുറെയേറെ പയറു വർഗ്ഗങ്ങൾ ചേർത്തുണ്ടാക്കിയ ഒരു കുഴമ്പിൽ നന്നായി ഇടിച്ച് ചേർത്ത് തരുന്ന ഒരു വെത്യസ്തമായ രുചി. ഗരുഡാഗിരി അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഗരുഡാകരി ഷാപ്പ് കുട്ടനാട്ടിലെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രശസ്തമായ ഒരു രുചിയിടമാണ്. ഒരു കള്ള് ഷാപ്പെങ്കിലും ഫാമിലിക്കായി പ്രത്യേക സജ്ജീകരണങ്ങളുള്ള ഈ ഷാപ്പിലെ രുചികൾ വളരെ പേരുകേട്ടവയാണ്. ഞാൻ അവിടെ ട്രൈ ചെയ്തത് കുഴ എന്ന ഒരു ഐറ്റം ആണ്. കപ്പയും കാച്ചിലും ചേനയും ചേമ്പും ഒക്കെ ചേർത്ത് കുറെയേറെ പയറു വർഗ്ഗങ്ങൾ ചേർത്തുണ്ടാക്കിയ ഒരു കുഴമ്പിൽ നന്നായി ഇടിച്ച് ചേർത്ത് തരുന്ന ഒരു വെത്യസ്തമായ രുചി. കൂടെ നല്ല എരിവും പുളിയും ഒക്കെയുള്ള മീൻചാറും; വാള മീൻ കറിയുടെ ചാറാണ്.
ഇതൊന്നും കൂടാതെ നന്നായിട്ട് മൊരിച്ച് ചുട്ടെടുത്ത വരാൽ. മൊരിഞ്ഞത് പുറമെ മാത്രമാണ് അകം നല്ല സോഫ്റ്റ് ആയിരുന്നു; പക്ഷെ ഇതിന്റെ വില ഒരൽപം കൂടുതൽ ആയിരുന്നു - 500 രൂപ ഒരു മീനിന്.
I enjoyed a variety cuisine here called Kuzha. Kuzha is actually mashed roots including tapioca, yam, purple yam, and others blended with a curry of beans. It goes well with fish curry - Kottayam Kuttanad style Fish curry is the best.
We also enjoyed fried fish (snake head fish) which was yum by taste though slightly expensive.
Unni decided to go for Toddy Shop Meals which came with chicken curry and fish curry with many other side dishes. Shameer was inclined to Tapiocca and Beef Roast.
