I flew back to Jakarta after finishing my umrah. This is my journey from Jeddah to Jakarta using Garuda Indonesia with Boeing 777-300ER. This flight is more crowded then my previous flight. flight duration is about 9 hours.

This time, we will be covering the flagship of Garuda Indonesia's fleet, The Boeing 777-300ER, with its one of the latest seating product. A typical flight time of 7 to 8 hours, there are plenty of time to test the seat for its upward and lie-flat position, as well as its comfort, accessibility, and its privacy. In addition of that, a quick overview of Garuda Indonesia International Business Class Lounge will be reviewed as well.

TRIP REPORT | Saudia Airlines (NEW BUSINESS CLASS) | Jeddah - Jakarta | Boeing 777-300ER
TRIP REPORT of my Saudi Airlines (Saudia) Business Class flight from Jeddah to Jakarta, Indonesia aboard their Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. This 10 hour flight was my first long-haul business class experience. After visiting the lounge in Jeddah I found a huge mess during the boarding process. There was no priority line or a seperate bus for business class (even though they had some ready while arriving into Jeddah). A bus took us to the beautifully painted Saudia Boeing 777-300ER on the apron (there are no real gates at Jeddah at the moment..). To my surprise the cabin was pretty new and featured full flat bed seats - not like on the older 777's of Saudia. A huge plus for comfort if you are as lucky as me to get to fly on that aircraft ;) Before departure the amenity kit was handed out and food orders were taken. Sadly the meals were not really great on this flight... Keep in mind that Saudia is a DRY airline (no alcohol). After a few hours of sleep and some movies, breakfast was served. The meal was not great again... Upon arrival in Jakarta I went to my hotel for a few hours before my next flight on KLM to Kuala Lumpur. Hello! It's been a while since my flight reports in July. I've managed a trip to Saudi Arabia for Umrah. But it won't be completed without a flight report! So here's the data about the flight:

What's on this flight:
It's been a while since my last long-haul flight with the same destination in 2014, so I need time to re-adapt with it again. The flight itself is superb, I have to say. The occupancy of this flight is almost 100 percent (just because of one vacant seat in Y). What seems weird is that they don't serve candy prior to departure anymore. But instead, they serve you with a bottle of mineral water per seat! I have to admit that is a good change. The food is so delicious. The ACS Jakarta really did a good job. There's no problem in seating as well since the seat is just the same with another GA's Y seats at the other aircraft, plus the charging slot and generous legroom. One more thing that amazed me so much is the landing! The capt landed her smoothly! Kudos captain!
Special thanks to F/A Dita who give some information about the flight, as well as Maktour which made my journey running smoothly.
P.S: The take-off and landing video seemed shaky and wavy because I used a suction cup for recording, so it's quite an experience for me and will be reviewed again for its usage in the future.

My visit to Saudi was fantastic, yet so calmful! I've met people around the world there. Plus, I can have something that I want so much. You know, like some foods and beverages =)). Okay, enough with the chitchats. Now, here's the video about my flight heading home to Indonesia. And this is the detail:

What's on this flight:
It's very hard for me to leave Saudi Arabia. I feel like I'm so attached to this country, especially the two holy cities. But it's okay. I'll be back soon.
The flight itself is superb. But due to the late arrival from Jakarta, the flight experienced a major delay. It should be departed from Jeddah at 10pm, but the actual is 12am-midnight. Well, I think CGK was really crowded at that time the plane departed. But what makes me happy is the captain landed her smoothly, even though the recording was shaky.
I experienced an upset stomach on this flight. That's why I did not eat my breakfast (I just eat the yogurt and some fruits). But to be honest, the meal was fine. Thanks, SV Catering!
Once again, Thank you very much to Garuda Indonesia for this flight, and I am looking forward to flying with you again soon. Last but not least, big thanks to Maktour who made my Umrah running smoothly! Allah yebarek feena!
