I arrived in Davao, and the first place I had to go check out was the Roxas night market for some night time eats! The Roxas night market has a lot of repetitive foods at many of the tents, but the food was great and super cheap. The people there are so friendly and awesome too!

The Roxas night market in Davao City, Philippines is known for having cheap Filipino street food, so we had to check it out and see what these best Filipino street foods were and how Davao street food tastes!
There were many places selling ihaw ihaw with loads of grilled meats and isaw to try. We got a big plate of grilled meats and isaw, covered in a tasty red sauce. There was kwek kwek galore as well, which you know, we love kwek kwek! We tried rice bowls, fried foods, and the popular street food, charcoal ice cream. The charcoal ice cream was mild in flavour, but oh so black. We couldn’t get over the colour of the black charcoal ice cream!
We highly recommend checking out the Roxas Night Market if you're ever in Davao for some cheap Filipino street food. A definite must for delicious and tasty street food in the Philippines.

Famous night market in Davao and a great place to try the local street food. The Roxas Avenue Night Market begins at the crossroads near the Marco Polo hotel and continues for about 1 kilometer southeast down Roxas Avenue. The first half is food stalls, most offering the usual pick n’ grill favourites of skewered chicken, beef, pork belly, and tuna, but you can also find vendors selling balut and some fried foods, as well.
The prices are cheap and atmosphere is lively: bunched together tables pervaded with the smoke from the grills.

We started off our ultimate street food tour in Davao City Philippines trying satti. Filipino satay is covered in a thick, sweet, spicy and savoury sauce that’s thick like gravy and oh so delicious! A great breakfast that’s for sure. After our satay, we went to try the popular Filipino food bulalo at a popular shop here in Davao City. Served many times to the former president Duterte, this popular bulalo shop serves a bulalo that’s so massive you definitely need to share.
Known as the durian capital of the Philippines, the durian here is abundant and affordable. We headed down to the local fruit stands to get a whole Filipino durian to share. Eating a whole Filipino durian is probably one of the highlights of our visit so far, we love the taste and flavour, just so delicious!
Last stop on our ultimate street food tour in Davao City Philippines was to taste some tuna belly and kinilaw. Davao tuna was a great way to end our street food tour in Davao!
