Beachcomber island is located in Fiji and has to be one of the best islands to visit with the most amazing beach and snorkelling! There are so many amazing islands in Fiji! Beachcomber is about 1.5 hours from the main land if Nadi, Fiji.

Fiji Day 2022
On 10th October 2022, Fiji celebrated Fiji Day. It was a public holiday. All around the country people came together to celebrate the occasion in one way or another. Fiji Day marked the moment in 1970 when Fiji became independent from British rule after 96 years. Fiji Day 2022 was officially celebrated with a parade by the Fiji Military Forces in Churchill Park, Lautoka.

The two largest islands are Vita Levu and Vanua Levu. They make up 87% of Fiji's total landmass. Most of Fiji's mountains are dormant or extinct volcanoes. Fiji is most famous for its crystal clear waters, coral reefs, shallow lagoons and white sandy beaches. The people are very friendly. The ocean is warm and the weather is amazing. After catching a short flight from Nadi to Savusavu we were picked up by the resort and driven out to our home for the next 3 nights. There we checked into our incredible over-water bungalow hut and wow we are so thankful we could stay here.
After relaxing by the sea, taking in the sunset, coconuts by the plenty -, we went an snorkelled in the sea, did some Stand up paddle boarding, park take in a Kava ceremony and enjoyed a traditional meke Fijian dance.

FIJI 2022 - LE ISOLE MAMANUCA: MALOLO E MALOLO LAILAI

Eccoci all'inizio della nostra esplorazione delle Fiji. Purtroppo siamo dovuti volare in Italia in Settembre per una ventina di giorni e questo, oltre ad aver cambiato un pochino i nostri piani, ha rallentato parecchio la nostra produzione di video. Faremo meglio!
In questo episodio approdiamo alle Mamanuca, un arcipelago di isolette situato a Ovest di Viti Levu e che, insieme alle Yasawa, si estende da Nord Est a Sud Ovest. Le prime che esploriamo sono le isole di Malolo e Malolo Lailai, molto turistiche, molto conosciute fra i naviganti. Sono collegate fra loro da una lingua di sabbia che emerge durante la bassa marea. Malolo Lailai e' sede di un piccolo marina e di numerosi resort yacht friendly. L'area e' conosciutissima come Musket Cove. Nelle acque antistanti e' installato un ampio campo boe.
L'ampia baia e' riparatissima, ci sono numerosi reef da esplorare e con il dinghy si puo' visitare il Bar-ristorante-pizzeria flottante Cloud 9 (a circa 2,8 miglia) oppure immergersi nella pass fra le isolette Namotu e Tavarua (a circa 4 miglia).
Malolo e Malolo Lailai non sono le Fiji vere e genuine, ma sono un inizio ????
