We took the Jiufen walking tour organised by Like It Formosa we highly recommend them, if you are in Taiwan and want to experience Taiwan from a local’s perspective check them out for sure.
From Taipei we take a trip to Jiufen. Jiufen is considered the most iconic village of #Taiwan due to it being an unique mountain village that was in the past a gold mining town. Today, Jiufen has embraced its charm and has turned into a popular destination for those visiting Taipei. The old street and Jiufen streets are cool, it's interesting to see a different side to Taipei and Taiwan. Even locals come up here once in a while to enjoy a blast to the past. #Jiufen is a popular tourist attraction and quite legendary for its stunning scenery from the A-mei tea house. Rumor goes it was featured in Ghibili's Spirited Away (Anime movie) by Hayao Miyazaki which was inspired by this very town. We highly recommend coming to Jiufen!!

Taiwan Drone Flight: Taiwan, 180km east of China, is known for modern cities, traditional Chinese temples, hot springs resorts and dramatic mountainous terrain. Taipei, in the north, has a number of busy night markets, as well as Chinese Imperial art at the National Palace Museum. Taipei 101, a 509m-tall, bamboo-shaped skyscraper with an observation deck, rises above the city. The verdant mountains of central Taiwan encompass Alishan National Scenic Area, with Tsou aboriginal villages and a narrow-gauge train, and nearby, picturesque Sun Moon Lake. Popular hiking areas include Yushan, a mountain with a 3,952m summit, and the riverside paths of Taroko Gorge, featuring towering cliff walls and turquoise water. Taichung is known for its teahouses. Tainan, Taiwans oldest city, offers numerous temples, Chihkan Tower (a fort originally built by the Dutch in 1653) and local specialties such as fried “coffin bread.” Kenting National Park, in southern Taiwan, is a major beach and water-sports destination. 由三十萬棵千年檜木組成的阿里山原始林，半世紀前讓日本人視為珍寶，為此還蓋了一條高山鐵路，將林木資源送往日本。而當伐木停止，搖搖晃晃的森林火車變成悠遊阿里山的趣味交通工具，神木更以無比壯碩的身軀、長者的姿態告訴大家自然資源的珍貴。
如果你沒有站在阿里山的巨木之下，別說你已經領會森林的永恆 。
