We’re Marianne & Chris, a happily married couple from the UK. Marianne is a living kidney donor to her best friend, and realising that life was for living and never really knowing what’s round the corner - we decided to fulfil our dream of travelling full time.
So in March 2018 after the kids had left home, we sold our belongings, rented our house and moved into our campervan called Trudy. We set off to see the world and after vanlifing around Ireland and Europe, we grabbed our backpacks and spent 5 months exploring Central America.
Feeling like we needed a challenge, we planned the ultimate van life adventure! In Jan 2020 set off to drive around the World from UK to UK. But after arriving in Turkey, covid caught up with us and closed the borders, so we had a wonderful 18 months exploring this special country. Realising we were not going to be able to head further East, we decided to do a handbrake turn and go the other way and shipped our van to the USA.
We hope you enjoy coming with us, and we’ll continue to share our real adventures and hope you feel inspire to step out of your comfort zone and try something new.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small business from the spare bedroom of our apartment. We discovered the world of “travel hacking” & became obsessed. So after 2 years of saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world. Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we rean out of money and went home to normal life. We started this travel vlog to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with this lifestyle and did everything we could to keep going. 4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time. Van life was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. ????????????

Van Life | Day In The Life Working In A Van
Today we thought we'd take you through a typical* van life day in the life when working in a van. This is our daily van life work routine when we are not on the move and don't usually pick up the camera. There will usually be at least 2 of these 'full-time' work days per week and then the rest will be scattered through evenings and morning work.

Storyteller Overland Beast Mode, Stealth & Classic (Van Tour & Reaction)
In today's full time Van Life travel vlog, we take a tour of all three Storyteller Overland rigs, the Storyteller Overland Beast Mode, the Storyteller Overland Stealth Mode, & the Storyteller Overland Classic Mode.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the #travel bug! We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to go travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling, and we didn’t want to stop after just one year! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries and then all 7 continents (check out our documentary here: we had no plans to slow down, until 2020 decided to force us to ;) which is when we bought a converted Sprinter van to start exploring our own country for the first time. #Vanlife was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. ????????????

In today's Van Life vlog, I finally give you a Van Life cooking video! I also hike along an alligator infested river.
I currently have my camper van parked near the Peace River in Florida. I'm camping at a thousand trails campground and enjoying van life and full time RV living. Ok, don't get excited. I made my entire van life meal in the microwave but it's a step above my normal, eating camping food out of a can! I also take you on something I do regularly living in a van - I get out of the van and go for a hike. This hike was different than any I've done. This river is notorious for having alligators.
