We started from an empty transporter. We wanted to build a campervan that you can live in full time and at the same time looks better than all the ready made premium camping cars.

We've installed two sky lights, three huge solar panels for our 12V battery system, a LiFePo4 battery, a fridge, a hidden gas stove, a camping toilet and a 150l fresh water tank for showering and for example dish washing. Also, there's a roof top terrace, an extendable bed and an extendable table and tons of storage! Well, and a parking heater and even a boiler for hot water... :D

Hey Guys Em and Max here and welcome to our Van Tour video. After a year and a half we have finally finished our van build! In 2021 we bought a 2010 Iveco Daily 50C18. We were inspired to purchase and build our own van after our van travels with Apollo motorhomes in South Australia and Tasmanian.
Our Iveco Daily Van is a long wheel base with a high roof and dual wheels at the back. This is the biggest van on the market you can get before you're looking at a Bus or Truck. The GVM is 5.2 tonnes which make this van great for a van build because it can take the weight.
Size was a big factor for us when we were deciding on what van we wanted. We would be living and working full time in a small space so we wanted a van with as much room as we could get. In our Iveco van build we were able to fit a shower, toilet, kitchen, dinging area and bed. We have built our own off-grid home on wheels and we couldn't be more proud.
Our build from first purchasing the van to finishing the van took about 18 months. The first 12 months we could only work on the build during our spare time and because we worked away and wth our travel business we didn't get much done. The past 6 months we put all our focus on getting this project done! We know that we did absolutely everything in this van build to the best of our best ability, including safely and we didn't cut any corners.

We finally did it... (VAN TOUR 2023 - Vintage Bedford CF camper van for hire!)
After 5 gruelling years, our dream has finally come true. Back in 2018 we bought a 1979 Bedford CF from a barn on Bodmin Moor. We had huge plans to convert it in to a bespoke camper van, to hire out and ultimately enable us to travel further for longer.
We had no skillset for such grand designs, but we persevered and the final result was everything we imagined it would be, and then some.
As we were readying ourselves to hire out the van, our lives changed forever as we were offered a dream job; travelling the world and visiting hidden hot springs, with the backing of Japan's equivalent to the BBC.
FIVE years after this van build journey began, we can finally say. WE DID IT!

Yo, yo, yo! James and Sarah here, back with another episode in our van build series. This week we filled our camper conversion water system up for the first time & its leaks galore. But after a slight panic & then a few nip ups here & there, we get it all straightened out.
We also install the last section of our kitchen worktop, wire up the fill gauges for our water tanks & finally turn on our Truma Ultrastore water heater & after another small drama get the hot water working.
We’re getting close to the end now guys, real close, & everything is really starting to come together. Well by the end of this video it is anyway!

The Ultimate Van Build Journey:
In Season 1 of the van build, we stripped off the old DPD stickers, rust-proofed the entire van, painted it our favorite matte grey color, redesigned the cab, planned our van's design / layout, created our epic water tanks, built our custom panorama roof windows, installed new wheels, & installed an insulated floor! PHEW! Building a home is something else!
Then Season 2 of the van build rolled around, and with our workshop's renovation behind us, it got TECHNICAL! We built a 47 degree solar tilt (1kW of solar power!), made custom seat bases & installed our custom seats, we took security to the NEXT level, breaking down our 12 incredible layers of security, wired everything our tech-dependent home will need, created the BEST insulation we've ever seen in a campervan (check out our video on campervan insulation & cold camping insulation), installed our own custom security cameras, framed the ceiling, AND created our peak-a-boo curtains. WOW!! We are beyond ready to be off grid in this Ducato van home! ❤️
Now Season 3 of the Van Build is kicking off in our brand new space, allowing us to work regardless of the weather or time of day! This is going to be the most exciting phase of this van life build yet!!

We’re Ladi (from Czechia) & Margaret (from USA) and we love eBikes, campervans, & cats. In 2020 our van life lifestyle flipped upside down, & we needed to stop traveling in our camper to lockdown in eastern Czech Republic due to the pandemic. With no travel plans and some new time on our hands, we decided to sell our old van, start an electric bike business, begin a youtube channel, build our ultimate dream campervan, renovate a junkyard into a tiny house homestead, plan a container & upper workshop space… well, some other smaller projects in-between ????.
What we thought would only be 6 months of “stillness” has become 2 years of innovation, progress, and so much fun, and most of that is thanks to YOU. Although we’re excited to be back on the road and traveling the world again soon, we’re so thankful to lay a foundation here in Central Europe & bring you with us on this crazy journey. Welcome to our new home! After a long eight months, we are super excited to finally be able to share how our new van has turned out!
After spending over 3 years in our last van and having built a few other vans since our first, we wanted to try something new and implement a few changes and upgrades that we’ve been dreaming up. The day has finally arrived! While our camper is not 100% finished, it is in a usable state and we’ve been itching to spend a few nights back in our home! We drive south towards Waco and spend a night at Lake Whitney but realize the Cedar allergies are tearing us apart! Either way, we love everything about the renovations and cannot wait to be back on the road full time soon!

It’s time to celebrate the end of the campervan conversion! Wow! What a ride this has been. There have been plenty of ups and downs, laughs and disagreements. Thrown in was a back injury and some terrible weather!

The Van is FINALLY Finished! We are so happy to be bringing you the van tour after what feels like forever getting the van built and ready for travel!
In total the van conversion took us just over a year to complete with fitting the build around our full time jobs, but now that it's done we've both QUIT to embark on a 4 month roadtrip around Europe and Scotland!✌????
