Luxury Grocery Shopping in Tokyo Japan + Department Store Food in Japan

TOKYO, JAPAN - Shopping in Tokyo Japan is a unique experience. In this vlog, I went grocery shopping at a luxury grocery store in Japan called Queen's Isetan in Tokyo. Then I bought Japanese department store food and desserts from a depachika in Mitsukoshi Ginza which is a famous department store in Ginza Tokyo. I also went grocery shopping in Japan at another popular grocery store in Tokyo. #groceryshopping #tokyovlog #japanshopping #japantravel

Department Store Food | Ginza, Tokyo

Enjoy this video of John indulging in bags (many, many bags) of department store food which Japan is renowned for. Quality, taste, variety, endless, endless options, Japanese department stores have it all if your after some delicious food. You could literally spend hours exploring the food halls of the many department stores but we singled out the famous Mitsukoshi in Ginza which also has a lovely outdoor courtyard with seating available for enjoying the many food and drink items you'll find yourself purchasing.
As always I'll leave links below so you know where to find the location should you wish to visit for yourselves.

Brunch at 7-ELEVEN VS LAWSON in Tokyo Japan

Convenience stores in Japan are great for tasty cheap food, and two of the more popular stores are 7-Eleven and Lawson. Today I try a bunch of food from each to see if they carry better products than the other.

LAWSON vs. 7-ELEVEN Japanese CONVENIENCE STORE Brunch Taste Test

Also love spending the day eating at Japanese convenience stores. I have always heard that Lawson in Japan has way better desserts than 7 - Eleven. So wanted to try it out and see.

Brunch at a Department store food in Tokyo, Japan

Shopping is so difficult in Japan, as majority of department stores have massive food halls selling all kinds of goodies in their basement floors and the choice is endless (as well as samples). Here is some footage of my haul for brunch. Fruit sandwiches are so good, every element was fresh as.

Perfect fruit at Mitsukoshi in Tokyo

In Japan where food shopping is also about stlye. everything perfectly packed. Without much of a local fruit industry, the Japanese have to pay extortionate amount s for their fruit and veg.

Matsuya and Mitsukoshi Depachika Walkthrough

This is a quick walkthrough of the Matsuya and Mitsukoshi department store basements. Mind you, these are only the basements. Each building features several above-ground floors of full restaurants as well. This is also not the most dense nor most diverse walkthrough that could be done in 10 minutes - I believe Tokyo Station or Shinjuku Station could beat it, although I haven't looked at the routes yet.

The department store food is out of this world! It is generally located in the bottom floor. It is so good, huge varieties, and cheap! Why is this not the norm in the world! Then we explore the famous Shibuya crossing! We cross many, many, many times..... First time at the conveyor belt sushi!
