View from Victory 1 Grandstand - Bahrain Grand Prix 2022

Victory 1 is not the best grandstand at Bahrain International Circuit. No direct view of a corner. Another downside is that you have to take a shuttle to get there from the Fanzone. There's not much happening in this area of the circuit. One advantage, the tickets are cheap. This video was taken during FP1 at the 2022 Bahrain Grand Prix

BAHRAIN Travel VLOG : GULF AIR BAHRAIN GP 2022 | Formula 1 Experience

Exploring Manama City and spending a wonderful weekend at the Bahrain International Circuit, witnessing the first race of the 2022 season.

Ferrari takes the lead with 1st and 2nd positions on the podium. It was definitely a dramatic event as Max Verstappen faced issues with his car and got out of the race, Pierre Gasly's car caught fire, and Sergio Perez's spun at Turn-1 during the final lap.

Formula One Grand Prix 2020 Bahrain International Circuit, Sakhir

The exhilaration and the adrenaline rush return this November and December ???? Feed your need for speed as the F1 Grand Prix returns to Bahrain with double the excitement over double header weekends from 27 to 29 November and 4 to 6 December ????????

An unmatched level of thrill, excitement, and adrenaline await at the Bahrain International Circuit. Located in the heart of the Sakhir desert, Bahrain International Circuit is a unique and contemporary facility that is synonymous with the highest levels of global motorsport. Featuring five different track layouts, the circuit first saw life in 2004 when the first ever Formula 1 Grand Prix took place in the country, making it the first-ever track in the Middle East to host the Formula 1 World Championship. Bahrain International Circuit continues to host staggering crowds and a wide range of events and activities and serves as a platform that encourages motorsports in the country.

For the double header weekends, the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir will run on the Outer track configuration, creating an “almost oval” experience, promising a sub-60 second qualifying lap offering the best left-field addition to the 2020 Formula 1 calendar. The challenging Bahrain Outer circuit offers a truly short lap packed with unique experiences and surprises, making it very entertaining for the fans. As the drivers face each other in November a thrilling battle is expected that will put their agility and ability to the test. Motorsport enthusiasts and avid fans alike can look forward to an epic display of mastery on the track.

View from Victory 2 grandstand - Bahrain Grand Prix 2022

Victory 2 is not the best grandstand at Bahrain International Circuit (though it is better than Victory 1). Victory 2 does have a direct view of the final Turns 14-15, but there's a large beam blocking the view of the apex for many seats closest to the corner. A big downside of the Victory Grandstands is that you have to take a shuttle to get there from the Fanzone. There's not much happening in this area of the circuit. One advantage, the tickets are cheap. This video was taken during FP1 at the 2022 Bahrain Grand Prix

Inside the Thrilling Bahrain International F1 Circuit

History was made in April 2004 when Bernie Ecclestone’s Formula 1 raced for the first time in the Middle East. The Bahrain International Circuit is still considered one of the most advanced facilities of its kind in the world. It includes a challenging Grand Prix Circuit for hosting F1 and is a venue for all other forms of car and motorcycle racing and testing.

In this video we get the chance to drive around the track in an Australian V8 Racecar and check out its incorporated 4-wheel drive Offroad Challenge

View from Turn 1 Grandstand (Sector G) - Bahrain Grand Prix 2022

This video was taken during FP2 on Friday, March 18. I think this is sector G or H, about halfway down the grandstand. The views are pretty good in all of this grandstand, but I would choose to be sat as close as possible to Turn 1 (Sector P, R, S). You can walk from the Fanzone behind the Main Grandstand to the Turn 1 Grandstand in about 10 minutes, via an underpass.

Grand Prix Formula 1 Racing at the Bahrain International Circuit

Cover your ears for this one, it gets loud.

Formula one racing at its best as we experience the Bahrain Grand Prix from some of the best spots in the house - right at the starting line across from the pits.

It's amazing the logistics that go into keeping the cars and the race going, and we do a pretty good job of observing it all from our perch.

A multi-national parade takes place before the race and some pretty sweet concerts afterwards, making for a great day all around. Enjoy the Grand Prix at Bahrain's International Circuit along with us!!

Bahrain International Circuit F1

The construction of the Bahrain circuit was a national objective for Bahrain, initiated by the Crown Prince, Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The Crown Prince is the Honorary President of the Bahrain Motor Federation. TRL was asked to build the circuit, headed by Patrick Brogan.

Race organizers were worried that the circuit would not be complete in time for the 2004 Bahrain Grand Prix and attempted to cancel the event; however, Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone refused this request. In the end, the circuit was not quite fully complete, but was good enough for the grand prix to go ahead.

After the 2004 race and ahead of the 2005 race the track was realigned at turn four, decreasing the circuit's overall length by 5 meters.

In 2007 the circuit became the first Grand Prix circuit to be awarded the distinguished FIA Institute Centre of Excellence award, given for excellent safety, race marshal, and medical facilities, and for the high standards of technology required to maintain these.

At the 2009 Grand Prix, BIC announced a collaboration with @bahrain to develop land next to the circuit. @bahrain is part of the Mumtalakat group of companies. @bahrain will dedicate more than 1 million square meters of business, entertainment and educational space with a value in excess of US$2bn (BHD 850million), making it one of the largest investment projects to take place in Bahrain in the past five years.

In 2011 the circuit was scheduled to be the first GP of the season. However, due to civil unrest in the country the race had to be cancelled in March 2011. On 4 June the FIA announced that the race would be scheduled for 30 October, the original slot for the inaugural Indian Grand Prix, which would be shifted to a season-closing date on 11 December. However, two days later following concerns from teams and other officials, the race organizers officially cancelled the race, choosing to focus their attention on the 2012 running. The 2012 Formula One calendar had the race scheduled for 22 April, the fourth of the season.

Bahrain International Circuit

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) offers a wide array of services and activities that cater to the needs and interests of the motorsport-loving community of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the region.

Among these are Open Track Days and Nights, where you can drive your own car or motorbike around the Formula One circuit, and the Ebrahim K Kanoo Drag and Drift Night, where you can either power down BIC’s NHRA-sanctioned quarter-mile drag strip or test your drifting skills within a controlled environment at the BIC Car Park.

For those looking to get the ultimate taste of the grassroots of motor racing, Bahrain International Karting Circuit (BIKC) offers an experience that is available nowhere else in the world. BIKC is a grade ‘A’ homologated track that became the first ever to host world championship-level sprints under floodlights, and the public is welcome to race here on a daily basis.

Aside from racing, there’s also plenty that can be done at BIC off the track. The world-class venue that features the most modern facilities is capable of hosting global conferences, major corporate events, grand public exhibitions and even charitable and social occasions.

All this and so much more affirms BIC’s place as “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”.

Full details of all on offer at the circuit are available online at bahraingp.com or by calling the BIC Hotline on +973-17-450000.

Bahrain International Circuit visit | Formula 1

The Bahrain International Circuit ( Arabic حلبة البحرين الدولية ) is a 5.412 km (3.363 mi) motorsport venue opened in 2004 and used for drag racing, GP2 Series (now FIA Formula 2), and the annual Formula One Bahrain Grand Prix. The 2004 Grand Prix was the first held in the Middle East. Beginning in 2006, Australian V8 Supercars raced at the BIC, with the event known as the Desert 400. However, the V8 Supercars did not return for the 2011 V8 Supercar season. 24 Hour endurance races are also hosted at BIC. The circuit has a FIA Grade 1 license. The circuit also has multiple layouts.
