26th April saw the US Air Force’s stealth fighter, the F22 ‘Raptor’ visit the Machynlleth loop in North Wales for the very first time!
In North Wales there’s a famous U.K. military air training range — technically, Low Flying Area 7 — part of it is known as the Machynlleth Loop.
And now there’s a new guest star—a USAF F-22 Raptor stealth fighter from the 95th Fighter Squadron based at Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida. The 95th Fighter Squadron sent four F-22s to Europe in April as part of the Pentagon’s effort to bolster NATO defenses amid increased tensions with Russia. F-22s deployed to Europe for the first time in late 2015.

Insane Low Level Flying with Fighter Jets IV
Some more low level flying fun for you in the fighter jet low level flying compilation IV. Well actually not only fighter jets - we couldn't resist and included that insane Biplane low pass. Not sure what happened there but this guy is really REALLY crazy. So crazy in fact that we recommend him to see a doctor (given he is still alive and did this on purpose). It could also be that these guys hanging around on the runway and he didn't know.
We also have the funny Blue Angels F-18 low pass at very high speed over the beach - which makes all the sunshades and parasols to fly away. Then there is this soldier almost beheaded by an extremely low flying Harrier. Actually this one led to inspiration for a German TV crew (Galileo/Pro 7) - they wanted us to make a similar low pass first over a dummy and then over their reporter. Which we did by the way :)

Australian International Air Show 2013 - F/A-18 Super Hornet Air to Ground attack demonstration
They did this a couple of times during the day. The final demonstration involved 4F/A-18 Super Hornets flying in a standard air to ground attack formation. It was pretty impressive.
